WriteSome App's Second Poetry Collection Released
With the goal of taking WriteSome App’s users’ work to the world, today we’re releasing our second poetry collection “Dearly Beloved — Poems on Love”
In today’s time, most amateur writers are finding it extremely difficult to get their work noticed by the right audience due to the plethora of online writing platforms and thousands of posts being posted every minute. And as a writing platform, we not only understand this problem but also realise that it is our responsibility to notice, identify and promote exceptional writers and poets on our app and take their work to the world.
And this is exactly why we came up with the idea of releasing series of our poetry collections.
Written by users of the WriteSome App, this poetry collection has 20 poems divided into 4 parts — Talk, Wait, Leave and Go. Each part with poems about that phase/ element of human connection.
Part 1- Talk: Deep feelings, heartfelt, exhilarating, romantic love.
Part 2: Wait — Overpowering and emotional poems on Love.
Part 3 — Leave: Overwhelming cravings for deep love, beautiful flow of emotions.
Part 4 — Go: inspiring, moving and touching poems.
You can buy the book in ebook, paperback and hardcover formats on Amazon via this link.

Today’s #poem is “The Secret of Now”. • The future is blind, And the past is deaf, an invention of memory a palace of reasons. I know you were hurt, before. I know the bombs lie in wait. Can you know the secret of now and remain? • We are upheld. That is earth beneath our feet. Air is entering your lungs. I’m watching it leave. Listen to my presence in the poem. Stay a while. I love to see you roam. Don’t forget to fly home. • • • #indiepoet #indiepoetryplease #indiepoets https://www.instagram.com/p/CBqN7XPAUVT/?igshid=z4fdqvhynure
Not all who seek know how to dream. • • • #indiepoet #indiepoetryplease #indiepoets https://www.instagram.com/p/CBpmrCjAO55/?igshid=1gla5ur9zydd9
Today’s poem is “Glitterball Moon” • Pic by @annatmarrow (print available) • When the night is starless And dawn seems to promise doom What I like to do is close my eyes And imagine a glitter-ball moon. • I turn up the sounds of invisible spheres Don my hat with the scarlet plume. Wave arms and hands in a determined dance And twist my way out of the room. • So if your night is overcast and clouds are clustering gloom Get on your glad rags. Step outside And dance under a glitter-ball moon. • • • #indiepoet #indiepoetryplease #indiepoets https://www.instagram.com/p/CBmtFZXgUyG/?igshid=19ymurireefv3
