Felicity Smoak, Susan Ivanova, Jake Peralta
Felicity:It started as a joke. She needed a little ‘working’ icon for when she was doing a citywide search, and the little spinning ball just wasn’t cutting it. She had MS Paint and a lot of free time, so she made a little guy firing arrows into the spinning ball.
Then it became very obviously Oliver firing arrows into the little spinning ball.
Then it became shirtless Oliver firing arrows into the little spinning ball.
Then shirtless Oliver just running, slow motion, Baywatch style.
The final iteration was shirtless Oliver, in all his 8-bit glory, doing an endless salmon ladder.
Most people have a trophy cabinet or a medal board. Susan has a trophy book. It’s full of the best, cleverest, wittiest things she’s ever said – the things that got the best laughs, the ones that made the right people afraid of her, the best lines tossed off to the Commander on their way out of Council meetings. From time to time, with enough vodka in her, she’ll bring it out and reminisce about the best times, laughing at her own wit too hard to speak.
While Amy does the NY Times Crossword puzzle, sometimes Jake does the TV Guide crossword. Even though they don’t have cable, he buys the TV Guide specifically for the crossword puzzle. Amy is always so proud of him when he finishes one.
