In your Sonic au did Maria have a special nickname for Shadow?

In my au she calls him Star in any language she can learn ☺️

She did! Maria was ~12 when she got on the ARK and met shadow, and she was in a very rough patch being seperated from her family and being diagnosed with NIDS. She called him a lot of things (like you might a cat, like, a million different nicknames without ever saying their name) one of her favorites was 'Kieri', which is one of the names she was considering when naming shadow, having the pleasure of doing so. Gerald However, never really called him any nicknames, either his 'official' name of Shadow or his expiriment tag number, "005". (Which yes does imply shadow was the fifth of some line of experiments)

Werehog Instincts + the Starfall Island incident has made Sonic incredibly clingy in his Werehog form. As in "I'm gonna lay on top of you and you're not gonna move me, or else you're gonna feel guilty about it for the rest of the week" kind of clingy.

The clingy you get from cats or dogs who haven't seen you in a week or more and they don't want you to leave their sight

Yeah actually! Although sonic can't transform into a werehog anymore, at least not without some crazy shit happening, he does still have some of the instincts from being a werehog (as well as being a mobian who wasn't raised around humans until he was a teen...) he does basically latch onto someone and doesn't let go. Shadow, especially, after sonic frontiers, since everyone else has been deciding to go on their own adventures, (and while he's happy for them, especially tails, he's very proud of his baby brother growing up) Sonic isn't exactly thrilled about anyone else leaving him for very long.

Plus not seeing shadow— or anyone actually physically except for enemies - for weeks, kinda took a toll on Sonics physce, and he's a lot more physically affectionate now. Though it'll probably wear off after he starts feeling stability again.

YES!!! YES! FINALLY SOMEONE ASKS!!,! Also hello welcome to my pageee !!!

okay so my sonic au is basically me rewriting the whole world of sonic! Im going to be starting with rewriting SA2 im the form of a comic (or fic, i might do both)

Its a story about colonization, queer culture, and people of color, with cool cartoon characters 🔥🔥 (kinda like steven universe)

Some basic lore info is that this is far into the future - 600 years after present day in our world, and that the earth is no longer inhabitable for humans (kind of like in wall-e, but theres some apocolypse and black arms stuff in there)

The humans who lived on that dying earth had to find a new planet to inhabit, of course- and the closest, least "developed" planet that can inhabit life was Mobius. Of course, they had to study the specimens already living there. the plants/animals, and the mobians. And there was already a project for a space laboratory — the Space Colony ARK.

Now, in this AU, ARK is actually a scientific company trying to find cures for cancers and incurable diseases like NIDS (which had ran in his family.)

So, along with shooting the colony into space for medicine miracles, they sent it out to study mobius as well, which is why its in mobius's orbit.

A lot more of this will be explained when i release the story (probably not for a while, though i do have 12 comics storyboarded already)

Anyways, human's basically colonized Mobius, and enslaved the mobians on it, as well as even wiing out entire species of mobians in their conquests. The mobians only became illegal to enslave, own, or sell is because they started picking up on human languages. (The only one who knew mobians were that intelligent were scientists on the ARK)

Crazy how it was colonized 2 times, huh
