In early 2021, Disney's Animal Kingdom added composting cans, encouraging the recovery of unused food and compostable cups & utensils - keeping them out of standard trash cans. Along similar lines, Disneyland is piloting use of food waste trash cans in Tomorrowland - specially the Galactic Grill restaurant, encouraging guests to separate their unused food. Per Disneyland public affairs, this reclaimed food will then be sent to third-party vendor to be converted into feed nutrients for farm animals. Walt Disney Studios in Paris has reimagined their Studio Tram Tour into an updated attraction called Cars Road Trip. Here's the official description per Disney:

Who loves road trips? Cruz Ramirez and Sally Carrera do! Pay attention, sit tight, and get your camera ready for the nature-made and Cars-made sights along the most legendary highway of the American Southwest.

There are 3 stops during this road trip:

First stop: A nutty roadside attraction Snap a pic and don’t forget to wave to Lightning (Flash) McQueen, Luigi, and Guido at the World’s Largest Lugnut. Second stop: Power shower! There’s nothing like a natural carwash in a flash flood for some extra shower power. See how a huge water tanker likes to shake up his cleaning routine in Cars-tastrophe Canyon. Final Stop: An Artistic Mater-piece! Mater is well known for his impressive junkyard creations. Today he’s debuting his latest Mater-piece– can you guess what it is? Honk if you love this motor monument!

With this updated attraction comes new trash cans. In this case, these copper-colored cans feature the "Cars Road Trip" logo, paired with recycling can featuring Paris' traditional non-finished inlet surface (i.e. it's not painted). When Disney's Animal Kingdom first opened on April 22, 1998, the central hub featuring the park's iconic Tree of Life was originally called Safari Village. Pym Technologies was a company created by Hank Pym, debuting in the 2015 Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Ant-Man. One of Pym's breakthrough creations was the Pym Particle, which made transformation of matter into larger or smaller sizes possible. As previewed by Disney, the new Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure features the Pym Test Kitchen - and with it, a new trash can design. Pym Test Kitchen offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with such menu items as the Quantum Pretzel, Cinna-Pym Toast, and Pym-ini Sandwiches. Here's Disney's official description:

On an urgent mission to fight hunger? Head to Pym Test Kitchen for phenomenal food at unusual scales! Utilizing the revolutionary shrink-and-grow technology of Pym Particles, Ant-Man and The Wasp lead a team of research chefs as they pioneer a menu packed with inventive-sized entrees, tiny treats and shareable bites that provide the perfect power-up. This old lab facility-turned-quick-service restaurant features a seating area and bar amidst décor that incorporates remnants of ongoing experiments—gigantic soda cans, humungous condiment bottles and massive cellphones recycled into menu boards. While browsing the baby apparel offerings at Tokyo Disneyland's Brave Little Tailor Shoppe, you might find these classy trash cans just outside.
