“It’s not the main reason I came here. Plus I doubt you’re gonna go meet her anyway. You usually don’t.”

But maybe I should be.....attempting to be friendlier." She wishes she hadn't agreed to let Goldie nap. He was always better at this than she was.

She forces a frankly unnatural-looking smile. It's painful to look at. "Seee? I'm just a friendly little snake!" She deadpans through clenched teeth. "I don't vomit on Mews for fun!"
