One of my players in my D20 Future Game is having a hard time remembering that NPCs continue to have motivations when they're not being observed

Actually it's good that Asklepios got the butterfly, not only because eww spiders, but also because this ability may have spoilerd Asklepios' delusions slightly.

Given how easily you could have made an insight check on him, when he claims to be a doctor, and you could clearly tell he's not lying...

Then again, it would have been funny if someone insight checked him on that BEFORE he "healed" someone, so we genuinely believe he's a doctor, because he's not lying!
