So let me get this straight.

We’re still arguing about whether the public deserves to know the names of the powerful men who enabled Epstein,

but somehow it’s totally fine for Congress to release the names of his victims

including people who were children when the abuse happened.

Victims warned DOJ about this.

Their lawyers begged for a real redaction process.

And yet multiple documents have now been released without with their names being protected.

How does this keep happening unless the system simply doesn’t care who gets hurt in the process.

You can’t call this “transparency” if the only people being exposed are the victims the system already failed.

That isn’t justice.

It’s cruelty.

Over the last few years, I’ve noticed the Troubled Teens subreddit really starting to muddy the waters.

There’s a huge difference between the Troubled Teen Industry (TTI) and Juvenile Justice facilities. I was not convicted of a crime. I was not sentenced by a court. I was sent away by my parents, against my will. No judge. No charges. No due process.

That distinction matters.

When people start lumping in juvenile detention centers with the TTI, it blurs what actually happened to so many of us. It turns a system of private programs, transport services, and behavior-modification camps into something that sounds like it was court-ordered punishment. It wasn’t.

You can see how confused the narrative has become when even movies like Holes get labeled as “troubled teen industry” stories. In Holes, the main character is convicted of a crime and sent to a detention camp. That’s juvenile justice. That’s not the same system.

One is a criminal conviction and one is false imprisonment by parents

i was able to contact the person that had donated before, she was willing to help, but no one else even tried to reach out, we'll probably only have to sell our bed maybe, i hope we can do something about the rent without needing to do that but idk

we'll no longer sell the wheelchair in a hurry, i hope to sell it for a logical price now, it may help us guarantee at least another month, idk what to do about the other ones, especially since the social assistance here is literally outright stating they don't want to help us in particular, further details about that will be below.

basically, they are doing everything in their power to not give us our rights and are attempting the hardest they can to manipulate us into thinking we don't have rights that we know we have (they themselves aren't able to not clearly state we are eligible for the benefit, even though they are trying extremely hard) we no longer know at all when it will be reinstated for these reasons, they keep pinballing us and not showing any sign of wanting to do their work, and are clearly stating they need to know every detail about our personal lives, they also tried to separate us for an "interview" with me alone, even though i am neurodivergent (autistic and more) and should have the legal right to be accompanied at all times by my partner, i don't know exactly why this is happening, i have some ideas, but I don't know if it's safe for me to share at all, especially since this is getting no significant attention when i have already talked about a lot of stuff relating to how corrupt and hellish Brazil is (i will link a post, the first one, which details some more about all of this, please read if you can), if anyone interested in helping sees this and wants to know more, i can provide more information, i just, i just don't want to waste more time, everything is going terrible, problems we didn't expect are arising and i am losing all my sanity because of this.

How crazy and disturbing is it that so many teachers feel the power they have and decide to use it to abuse their students.

Teachers have enormous authority. Students are expected to obey them and are rarely believed when they speak up against a teacher(s). That power imbalance creates the perfect conditions for abuse.

I still have the belief that all teachers are bad.

Two RE leaders at my church said this and I haven’t forgotten it, and I think others need to hear it too.

I was talking about how inhumane the psych industry is, and how the abuse it inflicts is justified, and this is what he said. (Not exact words, just the sentiment because I can’t remember what he exactly said)

“I know you think about this a lot, and I’d just like to tell you that in the Gen Z population, we are actively telling each other not to go inpatient. We are telling each other that it’s a bad idea and to find a good therapist, and to avoid going. We’re working around the problem, and obviously that’s not going to *solve* the problem, but I promise you, there’s people that care, and more people are talking about it than you think.”

Another RE leader (again, sentiment):

“You know what? Hell yeah. It does need to change, and it’s awesome that you saw that and thought ‘no one’s talking about it, so I will.”

I promise, there are people out there who care, and who are talking about it, even if they’re quiet. There are adults who care out there
