A progress pic of what I’m working on rn! As an able bodied appearing individual with a deteriorating physical ability, I’m being shown more and more what’s inaccessible around me esp within “radical” or activist circles. I’ll expand more on this in my final post of this print. This is printed on a completely unprepared copper plate (other than the edges which a kind classmate beveled, thanks Drew) bc the process of intaglio is incredibly inaccessible to me (which I don’t fault anyone for it’s just one of those things) so for me to be able to create things using this medium I have to use backdoors and loopholes and my non dominant hand when my right one decides on to work one day…it’s arduous but rewarding in the end. All this to say look how dope this unprepared copper plate sugar lift statement is!! Snafu to be fixed tomorrow!
