A bit of psychology:
Internal/external thinking.
This post, I want to dedicate to all the people who worry about the opinions of others.
Most successful people think internally. In this mindset, well-being depends solely on them.
Several advantages of this thinking:
- Self-regulation. It allows a person to control their emotions, behavior, reactions. The ability to adapt to stress and unexpected conditions.
- Planning. Before doing anything, you need to think, right? In this case, an internal dialogue plays out in the head, which helps to consider the situation from different angles.
- Critical thinking. Thanks to the dialogue with oneself, critical thinking develops. The main thing is to remain objective.
- Creative process. Again, thanks to internal dialogue and reflection, a person can derive inspiration and energy from themselves.
In psychology, this trait of personality is called internal locus of control.
Weak people usually shift responsibility onto others, even in their failures, and blame everyone but themselves. They demonstrate an example of an external locus of control.
As long as you are dependent on the opinions of others, you cannot live happily. When emotionally strong people create, they cannot be shaken by sarcastic comments or superficial judgments.
