As desperate as I am for a relationship, I am aware that every other man my age is Not Interested and only wants to Hook-Up and isn't looking for Anything Serious and it feels so pointless to even try.

Let alone the whole Love Yourself First thing is impossible. You need to be shown love by your community to believe you are worthy of it, and when no one wants to even like you just a little bit, I feel like there's nothing I can do.
