People know introjects aren't just fictives, right? I have at least 3 alters based on real people or my own wild ideas of them.

Jay is literally half raven boy half violent persecutor and full on an idea of someone, like my own brain's perception of this person, almost like half fairytale, half real life. (He also has like 3 names that different people call him by)

For Amaranth, she's half fox mimi, a complete red head and looks nothing like her irl counterpart, but she's just like them. Very similar.

And there's more. Not all introjects are from fictional or single sources. Many introjects are fragments, aka, not fully formed.

Also, many systems introjects' are not formed by people reality escaping, they exist as a direct connection to the outside world. It makes me uncomfortable when people assume it's maladaptive. But I understand why people would relate to that.

These alters are real. Introjects don't have to be from popular media, trust me.
