Ncuti is so gooooddd!!! Whole episode had me in tears! It almost feels like having Nine back, with hurt and rage bubbling under the surface and choosing to embrace joy and sentimentality in spite of all that. The Doctor just loves the universe and all it's big mysteries and little wonders. They love how much humans care and try and sacrifice at their best and they're so distraught whenever humans give in to their worst impulses. Crying in the kitchen with Ruby's mum, Carla? Broke me. Dancing in the club like an invitation to Ruby, asking a lonely girl to just come and enjoy being alive for a little while? Amazing. I'm actually excited to see where the show takes us next. I’m a simple man. I look at Miles Edgeworth and think he should participate in a drag contest. I think he should put those long legs in heels and a dress with a slit up the side and put on a nice long wig and strut down the catwalk and bask in the cheers and good-natured cat calls and strike gender envy into the hearts of all and then change back and strike gender envy into the hearts of all.
