Kul inne rabbi yebsutur rızka li men yeşau min ibadihi ve yakdiru leh, ve ma enfaktum min şeyin fe huve yuhlifuh, ve huve hayrur razikin.
Sebe' Suresi - 39 . Ayet
A lot of people say this quote, but this is from shaytan.
"I always wonder who i would’ve been if i wasn’t traumatized. Imagine where i would be"
Everything that Allaah and His Messenger said is truth. The word ‘if’ or ‘if only’ is used in two ways:
1.To express grief for the past and distress what has been decreed. This is what is not allowed, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“O you who believe! Be not like those who disbelieve (hypocrites) and who say to their brethren when they travel through the earth or go out to fight: ‘If they had stayed with us, they would not have died or been killed,’ so that Allaah may make it a cause of regret in their hearts”
[Aal ‘Imraan 3:156]
This is what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade when he said, “If anything happens to you, do not say, ‘If only I had done such and such, then such and such would have happened.’ Say instead, ‘Qaddar Allaah wa maa sha’a kaan (Allaah decreed and what He wills happens), for ‘If only’ opens the door to the Shaytaan”, i.e., it makes you vulnerable to grief and fear, which is harmful to you and is of no benefit. Know that whatever befalls you, you could not have avoided, and whatever does not happen to you, you could not have made it happen to you, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“No calamity befalls, but by the Leave [i.e. Decision and Qadar (Divine Preordainments)] of Allaah, and whosoever believes in Allaah, He guides his heart” [al-Taghaabun 64:11]
They said, this is a man to whom calamity happens, but he knows that it is from Allaah, so he accepts it and submits.
2.When the word ‘if’ is used to convey beneficial knowledge, such as the aayah (interpretation of the meaning):
“Had there been therein (in the heavens and the earth) aalihah (gods) besides Allaah, then verily, both would have been ruined” [al-Anbiyaa’ 21:22]
The second type is used to express love for goodness, such as saying, “If only I had what so and so has, I would do what he does.” Saying things like this is permissible.
The hadeeth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), “If only he [Moosa] had had patience, so that Allaah would have told us more of what happened between them” is of this nature, as is the aayah (interpretation of the meaning):
“They wish that you should compromise (in religion out of courtesy) with them, so they (too) would compromise with you”
[al-Qalam 68:9]
Our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) wished that Allaah has told us more of their [Moosa and al-Khidr] story, and he mentioned that in order to point out his love for patience and the results that come from it, and the benefits that it can bring. There was no element of fear, grief or neglect of the duty of patience in the face of what has been decreed.
And Allaah knows best.
[You me and everyone are exactly where Allah has written us to be and couldn't be otherwise. A true believer is firm on this]
Take Advantage of Five Before Five
Take Advantage of Five before Five
The Messenger of Allah was giving a man an admonition one day, He said: Take advantage of five before five. Your youth before your old age, your health before your illness, your wealth before your broke, your free time before your busy, your life before your death.
Benefits from this topic:
Al-Hafith Al-Hakimee said: This is an encouragement to do as many actions as you can do you when have your youth, your good health, your wealth, your free time and your life. When these things are gone there’s no benefit to have hope that you can do actions. After young age comes old age, following good health comes sicknesses, once the wealth is gone its poverty, and after free time you get busy and occupied and lastly after life comes death.[1]
Take advantage…The Arabic word used is [اغتنم] which means to be successful without difficulty[2]
Five before five… This means we do fives things before five things happen.[3]
Your youth before your old age…Take advantage of your youthfulness with worship and obedience to Allah while you have the ability and before you have regret for your negligence. [4] Young age is a period activity when the body is strong and able to worship Allah. Be mindful that youthfulness disappears quickly. It’s similar to a dream that a person doesn’t feel remorseful for until he wakes up.[5]
your health before your illness…Do actions while you are in good health ,because the sickness might prevent you from doing good deeds, and if you have few deeds in this life you will arrive on Judgment day with a small number of deeds.[6]
your wealth before your broke…Use your extra wealth you have towards charity before you need charity and become poor. Wealth comes and goes. Sometimes a wealthy person becomes poor again.
your free time before your busy…Free time is always followed by becoming busy. The Prophet [(ﷺ)]
نِعْمَتَانِ مَغْبُونٌ فِيهِمَا كَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ الصِّحَّةُ وَالْفَرَاغُ
‘Two blessings which many people misuse: Good health and free time.’”[7]
Make use of your free time in this World before you become busy with the terrors of the Hereafter. The grave is the first place of the Hereafter. Therefore, do deeds now that protect you when you get busy
your life before your death…Do actions that will benefit you after death. Death seizes all actions, all hope is gone, and then regret kicks in.
The Prophet named these five as Ghaneemah, because it’s easy to do actions when they are present. The true value of these five things isn’t recognized until they vanish.

An intriguing pattern emerges across different traditions: rabbinic sources maintain that the land of Israel was spared during the Flood. Similarly, Samaritan tradition holds that Mount Gerizim—the site of their temple—remained untouched. In Islamic writings, it is likewise said that the waters of the Flood did not reach the Kaaba.
What is particularly noteworthy here, and this is only one example among many, is the apparent transfer of certain legendary motifs. Elements that, in Jewish tradition, are associated with Jerusalem seem to have been reattributed in Islamic narratives to Mecca.
More broadly, the idea of a sacred sanctuary preserved from the Flood appears to stem from an older Semitic motif—though that is a subject deserving separate discussion.
