Sometimes, in the crevices of most unexpected places of internet, sometimes tiktok, sometimes twitter or even YouTube... I get glimpses of my past. A big big while ago I made a picrew, VERY fandom specific picrew (and I'm not telling you which one myself). And it's still out there. Free and experiencing something I already left in the past, but it is still alive, as is anything fed to the world wide web.

The Pens for sure did their whole start slow and take time to warm up thing today, but they really really dominated once they got started.

Pens have the most different players scoring this year in the NHL, and that depth is like the thing that I love the most about this team. That combined with the defensive depth and Muse keeping everyone’s ice time fucking reasonable, plus the fuckig stellar goal tending we’re getting, I mean. Feels like a competitive hockey team.

Unfortunately for the standings the Rags are down by one with one minute left so the Pens won’t get any real distance in the standings.

Speaking of the Rags - Sully’s in town on Saturday for the anniversary game! I will probably be getting emotional about all the returning players etc and might maybe cry.

If you had the power to change/remove 1 block from minecraft, what would you change?

Hello dearly anon, thats- a hard one I must say.

One of the first things that came to my mind are the sniffer flowers, to me it doesn't make sense the fact that a item called TORCH flower doesn't glow and honestly as redstoner myself I don't do decoration, it just a item that doesn't have utility to me.

Oh and if it was to change texture of something I will say something that is a really hot take, I want netherack to look like flesh again. Like it doesn't need to be the same old texture, but man. New players these days don't know the feeling of walking in a hell were the walls, floor and ceiling look like they may be made of something alive. You understand how cool is the concept that it is alive, that the "hell" of minecraft is alive and is one of the most hostile places you can go, because it is alive and it is trying to kill you?

Oh and a last one, I would really like if you could place redstone vertically.

Thats it. I realized I actually can't chose in only one block but *shrughs* its my blog, who will sue me?

And another thing, when people say “That thing is over, why you still care?”...

That’s the thing we’ve been doing for centuries!  Talking about art, plays, theater, literature that was created ages ago.  Greek stories been over for centuries but we’re still talking about those.  There are people who sit and look at cave paintings today and try to dissect their meaning!  I don’t even need to point at religious texts do I?  What about Shakespeare?  But you want to shame someone for still talking about a tv show that ended 6 months ago.  Okay.  There’s still people vigorously discussing Star Trek: TOS and it’s been like 50 years but go off I guess.

We continue to talk about old stories because we love them, learn from them, and they inspire us.  That doesn’t just stop when the last page is turned, or the last episode airs.  These stories and characters leave grooves in our hearts that don’t just magically get erased with time.  They are the fingerprints of human creation, and for many of us, they don’t wash off.
