I think I like drawing Itachi in loose clothing because he deserves comfort. And I think I like him in crop tops or v neck shirts or off the shoulder shirts because he struggles so much with being open. It’s a nod to his restrained nature and the lack of room he had to discover himself and feel. Physical exposure that represents the discovery of emotional exposure. Also he just do be cute in em.

Shisui always gave Itachi the space and respect and freedom and comfort he needed to explore his feelings. It’s so sad he didn’t get enough time to continue helping Itachi in that way. Itachi deserved to keep Shisui. If anyone in his life besides Sasuke, he should have been able to keep Shisui.

I'll be honest. The way some people talk about Itachi and Shisui feels like when scientists find bones of 2 skeletons of the same gender wrapped around eachother in a very obviously loving embrace and the scientist calls them "best friends".
