Johto League, Episode 7 - Spinarak! The Great Investigation!!
Kokumo/Catallia City, which I guess isn't far from Lafall/Florando. The Rockets take inspiration from a local legend. A famous cat burglar once menaced this town alongside his partner, a Meowth who could pick locks with their claws. However, his crime wave ultimately came to an end, uh, anticlimactically when he was simply caught and arrested by the local Officer Jenny NPC and her partner Spinarak.
Jenny tries to play this off like it's super dramatic but. Like. Her story is, "There was once a thief so capable that the police couldn't catch him, until they did. The end."
The thief is named Nekohachi in Japan, referencing his feline partner. For some reason, the dub calls him Black Arachnid, even though the only spider involved is the one that apprehended him. Weird.
In any case, Jessie and James carry out copycat heists across the city until their crime wave lands them in a Spinarak's web, just like the original.
Unfortunately, Ash also tries to help. First he burns the Spinarak web with Charizard's Flamethrower, nearly enabling the Rockets to escape in their balloon. Then, when Spinarak snags the balloon with a web line and reels Team Rocket in, Ash uses a Charizard Tackle to send the balloon soaring off into the distance - Successfully enabling their escape from justice. Good job?
Still, despite Ash's contributions, Jenny is able to recover the stolen loot. I mean, all these priceless valuables fall dozens of feet and everyone has to scramble to stop them from shattering into millions of pieces on the ground, but all's well that ends well, right?
...right?
...
Well, time to hit the road, gotta get to Cherrygrove and all that, you know how it goes, see you 'round!
Day 405 - Itomaru | イトマル | Spinarak
Itomaru is an illusive Pokémon, dwelling in dark spots in forests, caves and tunnels. Their web is some of the strongest material in the world, but they’re quite greedy and don’t like to show others their silk. Scientists are trying to recreate their webbing to make a material stronger than carbon nanotubes.
(P.S. New Pokémon drawings every single day. Team commissions $35! [email protected])

Reddit Gets Drawn 211 (Special Edition) - Itomaru | Spinarak
itomaru replied to your post “Alright, I gave in and did Zyra support and it… was not as bad as I...”
zyra support is great. :p i main support and i don't play her too much cause my friends prefer my annie/thresh game, but with the new spelltheif, i think itd do decent. i usually go 15/15 unless im playing passively.
Totally. I was so against it for so long cause i felt like she had been shoved out into a support role when she should be up in mid. But I mean, with her kit and speed, she just can't compete with champs like, say, Kha.
But she's actually a lot of fun in bot lane, I'm glad i tried it.
(The new spellthief is fantastic, btw.)
