Basically when writing a horror story, it's better if the description isn't like a page long and even if it is, using better words makes a huge difference! I get that to set the tone, there needs to be a vivid picture but if all the words that are mentioned just keep saying that the room was bleak and it reeked and it seemed haunted from the get go, that just isn't fun to read.
Secondly, the basic kidnapper playing hide and seek with his victims is way over used. I'm not saying that it's bad but it is when the literal concept is still the same, the writing isn't special and nothing remotely interesting is happening. There needs to be that shock factor, the moment you were not expecting.
Thirdly if I wanted to read a rom-com I would have gone for that, I don't get when characters get into this flirtatious mode at the literal death's door. Like the little ones where they are saying goodbye's are fine, but like the full blown make out sessions make absolutely no sense. If there are psychos after me, making out will be the last of the things I'd want to do.
If there is a serial killer in the story, I'd like to know why? What's his or her motive? Why are they going after the protagonist? Why is the protagonist acting a certain way?
Horror needs to be terrifying with gruesome here and there not just gruesome with some moments that might terrify you are little. Like give me the screams and the disastrous scenes that are bound to take place. I chose horror for a reason. If I needed light hearted comedy, I'd have chosen that!
im gonna be honest ive been off T for the last month and I feel so overly emotional and tired and im dealing with more than that like my ex is talking to another guy now and I was like “go ahead lmao that's good” cause I think we both need to move on lmao and I had no problem with it but we were skyping and then she just started showing less interest and was just finishing things so she could finish texting him and I started getting a pit in my stomach because he has a penis and I don't. I was so comfortable talking to her about all my trans stuff but now I feel like its just a reminder to her why this guy is better and I fucking hate it cause I don't care if she moves on but my dysphoria is making me so fucking insecure
My Thoughts:
Go ahead and just tell me how weird I am, after all this.
When I talk to people on here, I don't know what they look like, but my brain likes to play a fun game involving imagination.
Everyone starts out as a blank artists mannequin, no features noted or gender difference, until I get to know someone. It gradually takes from into a beautiful person and I will only ever see a very special character for everyone.
My only regret about admitting this is that I can't draw what I'm thinking and viceversa, so no one will ever know for truth.
man whos only understanding of transfeminity is watching tranny porn: idk abt yall but that woman is kinda giving me porncoded gooner vibes
