Honestly unless it's to approach & critisize racist or sexualizing aspects or the like, fantasy costumes should be given some slack in terms of "accuracy". Its not exactly meant to be accurate if someone's not wearing a cotton shift underneath their stays bc its the wrong time period or leather armor instead of padding and chainmail in fantasyland with dragons and wizards
