as someone who's the eldest daughter and cousin on both sides of the family— a southeast asian family at that, child's lyrics struck me to the core because of how relatable it is.

everyone's eyes are on me and the pressure broke me down like nothing else and stripped me of the feeling of actually being a child as i had to reach everyone's expectations.
