What if Kenny faked his death? He completed his mission in finding this new alien arrival to Earth, and Philip and Elizabeth decided it was time for him to move on to the next mission. (I know the timelines don’t match but whatevs, just having fun :P )

Y’all when I saw him I was like TUAN!! and immediately expected the worst, because lord did that boy do some fucked up shit in his other stint as a teenager deliberately hanging out with the weird kid.

(Fun fact: Olivia Nikkanen, who played teen Alex, was also on The Americans! She plays one of Kimmy’s friends – and the actress who plays Kimmy was just in Waco with Melissa.)

Anyway, it was really interesting to watch having seen Ivan Mok before, because both storylines introduced his characters with similar tropes and then subverted them in kinda similar ways. 

And anon, I am totally into this headcanon. Every spy drama needs some time travel thrown in for good measure. ;)
