I love satosugu role reversal fics that arent just giving them each others dialouge.

Like why show Gojo's fall from grace in Geto's XXX village when the clapping cult members are right there. Showcasing that the only reason that Gojo become who he is in the present was because Geto was there to stop him from falling. It also makes you think "Oh, if only Gojo was there in XXX village to stop Geto's fall from grace." then you think even further and you have "Oh, what if Geto wasn't there to stop Gojo from falling, and Gojo also wasn't there to stop Geto from falling and they both become curse users."

I think that last scenario is the only one where I can see them not being friends. Like we saw in JJK0 that they still care for each other, and I can't imagine the same not happening if Gojo fell and Geto didn't.

But if both of them fell, it's for different reasons, and they are fully commited to this reason that they would do a mass killing over it. If both of them fell, Geto would fell for holding sorcerers' life over others while Gojo would fell because every life should be precious. They would not get along. It would be one of those tense family dinners where they carefully navigated around sensitive subjects or else they'll fight.
