Hello! I’m a fan fiction writer. For a long time I primarily wrote Harry/Hermione and several other ships, but going forward I will mostly be focusing on original work. Fanfiction will more than likely be in worlds not involving HP for obvious reasons. Other worlds I write in for fanfiction are MCU, working primarily with Tony parenting Peter 🌟, and DC with some batfam stuff (unposted as of yet).

I've updated the above post and would just like to reiterate that I have decided to step back from the HP world for the time being. I'm going to focus on more original work right now. Going forward, fanfiction will likely be involved in other worlds that I already have enjoyed like DC and Marvel and maybe I'll double back into other worlds I was once involved in before like Supernatural or Doctor Who.

Next year, I am considering posting an HP story (or whatever I have left of an existing story) for Evil Author Day and that will likely be the extent of my involvement in the HP world from now on. I will not be deleting my stories or updating them to claim they are "abandoned" -- but there will be no more updates on anything HP related going forward. Currently, I have no idea what will be happening with Hannukah, but it is entirely possible that I won't be posting at all.

I've updated my blog a bit and I'd like to look at the time going forward as a new chapter. I've been working a lot on original work and I'm excited to share some of those things in the near future!

they’re at a party and everyone is drunk even shane and it’s so buzzy and fun and then ilya loses sight of shane for approximately seven minutes and then relocates him and finds he’s wearing one of those plastic gold king crowns on his head and ilya well ilya blacks out for about three seconds and then walks off while he was in the middle of a conversation and just hands his drink to whoever and beelines it to shane and grabs his hand and pulls him along to a random room and shane is tipsy and relaxed and just smiles like kermit the frog with a crown on being pulled along by his man and then ilya is locking them in someone’s bedroom and crowding shane against the door and shane is like snickering because ilya is tickling his neck with his kisses and his crown is a lil lopsided now with how his head is angled and he’s like “hehe ilyaaaa what are you doin” and ilya is just kissing at every piece of exposed skin and then dropping to his knees for his king and shane’s eyes go all dark with his pupils blown out from seeing ilya nosing at his crotch through his jeans and looking up through his lashes with an open mouth and shane is staring down at him with his lopsided crown on and his skin has a pink flush from the alcohol and he’s got a hand pushing ilya’s curls back from his forehead and ilya licks his lips and says in his thick lustful accent “can I suck your cock, King Hollander?” and well king hollander is nodding so fast his crown slides down and he pushes it back up to its rightful position and watches ilya watch him while he sucks his cock and oh there’s a mirror just in front of them and shane gets to see himself wearing a crown and getting his dick sucked by ilya fucking rozanov. it’s a pretty good night to say the least

I know it's technically not but in my heart it is canon that after Shane comes out to his team, he's approached by like five different teammates hoping to hook up on the down low. These guys are all Kinsey 1s and 2s who already thought Shane was hot and figure now that they know he likes guys, they might as well shoot their shot.

The first time it happens, Shane is confused. The second through fourth, he thinks maybe this is some cruel prank being played on him. By the fifth, he's forced to admit to himself that it's possible these guys are being sincere and they actually want to fuck him.

It's at this point he brings it up to Ilya, because it feels like the kind of thing his boyfriend should know about. After a long silence, Ilya asks for their names.

"I can't tell you that," Shane says. "They all approached me in private, they definitely don't want it getting out that they're not straight."

"Then they should not be hitting on my boyfriend," Ilya says sourly.

Shane is unable to keep from smiling, feeling a smug little thrill at seeing Ilya act jealous. "Well, unfortunately for them they don't stand a chance, since my boyfriend is hotter than all of them combined."

Now it's Ilya's turn to be smug. "Yeah?"

"I'm kind of obsessed with him," Shane admits.

And what's Ilya supposed to do about that other than initiate some mind-blowing phone sex?

"Just tell me one thing," Ilya says once they're finished and basking in the afterglow, both of them lying down and holding their phones inches from their faces. "Pike hasn't hit on you yet, has he?"

The instinctive "ew" Shane lets out has Ilya in a happy mood for the rest of the week.

I saw a post about Shane and Ilya being sad that they can't thank each other in their acceptance speeches like other can with their spouses and it got me thinking:

Ilya wins his first awards and hes got nobody he really wants to thank after his team and coach cause he he hates his family but he knows his speech is too short so on impulse he goes "And I want to thank Shane Hollander for being slightly worse than me this season". Everyone knows it was going to one of those two, so everyone thinks hes an asshole to say that but whats new so it works for him. But from then on it then becomes a bit for both of them to thank each other in their speeches in a snide way as a reason they won.

Shane winning the Art Ross Trophy (Awarded to the player who leads the league in total points at the end of the regular season). and going "special thanks to Rozanov for missing at least 5 shots this season, he was a huge help"

Ilya winning the Conn Smythe Trophy (Awarded to the most valuable player for his team in the playoffs.) "Just want to give a quick shout out to Hollander for getting knocked out in the second round this season. Must hate to see me up here."

They find a way to mention the other in their speeches every time all the time.

At some point after the cottage but before the public outing TMZ does an article on “Ilya Rozanov’s most high-profile hookups” which is essentially just a list of Instagram models with paparazzi shots and blurry cellphone pics of Ilya at the club. Shane scrolls through it, absolutely seething, because he is Ilya’s most high-profile hookup - maybe not by their metric, which seems to be Instagram followers, but Shane hasn’t heard about a single one of these women, apart from Svetlana whom he wouldn’t have recognised if not for Ilya talking about her. The guys are talking about it in the locker room, as if Ilya’s a legend for getting with all of these supposedly very desirable women (although that is decidedly not the way the guys phrase it) and Shane is absolutely furious because he can’t tell anyone that none of these women got to keep him. He is the only one who’s gotten to call Ilya his. He is the only person Ilya’s been in love with.

Anyway, after the next Boston/Montreal game Ilya shows up to practice genuinely looking like he’s been mauled. His entire body is covered in hickeys and bruises that look suspiciously like bite marks - his neck is basically covered in purpling marks with a fair few centred on his chest but a couple of the bruises trail further down, one on his pubic bone, a couple on his thighs, and the darkest one on his hip, a large circle of clear teeth marks - not only that but his back has been practically scratched to ribbons. Ilya is basically a walking sign spelling out “TAKEN - BACK OFF” and when the gossip of Ilya Rozanov apparently having been locked down by a wild animal reaches the Montreal locker room Shane can’t help the proud little smile that blooms on his face because, yes, that’s his man.

The concept of a Vegas fic where Ilya gets drunk after Shane receives the rookie of the year award is so good to me, like if Ilya's filter went wonky and he's direct about his father and Russia or something. I kinda feel like Shane would have the subtlety of an elephant on stilts and would be sending infographics like "How to protect yourself when a family member is abusive." And every time Ilya keeps opening their thread because sex with Shane is so good and he figures it must be Shane arranging their next meet up but no it's just Shane sending him another shitty pamphlet that makes him feel like shit.

Shane with his parents later: "mom dad, could I get some advice? It's about *long pause* a friend."

Then Shane just shares a ton of information about this friend, "he's miserable going home and his family really mistreats him, but he feels like he has to go back" "Moscow" "yeah last year after I won the award he was drunk and pretty much confessed all that" "yeah because I won it?"

And Yuna and David are just there after Shane has left kinda shell shocked, " is Shane secretly dating Ilya rozanov?"

So you know all those fics where Ilya and Shane meet in Vermont and have like, sleepy motel sex or whatever? That, but instead, they buy a house halfway between Montreal and Ottawa.

Ilya unlocks his phone, and navigates to the realtor app, which is already open to the page he wants. It’s a massive five bedroom home on the bank of the Ottawa River. There’s a dock and a pool and a finished basement that Ilya can already see filled with their exercise equipment. It’s the only house on the street, with farmland on either side. There’s a four car garage. Shane yawns again and looks at the picture, frowning. “Is this the place you’re looking at in Ottawa?”

"It’s not in Ottawa." Ilya says, "It’s in a town called Hawkesbury. It’s an hour away from the arena.” Shane’s forehead crinkles, obviously wondering why Ilya would want to drive an hour to every game, so he continues before he can ask. “And it’s an hour from the Bell Centre.”

“Wait. What?”

Ilya has been thinking about how to say this for a couple weeks now, ever since he first started poking around a map of the distance between Ottawa and Montreal. “I want to live with you. I want us to buy this house - or another one if you don’t like this one - and live together as much as we can with our schedules. You can keep your apartment near the arena, and I’ll buy one in Ottawa too and we can stay in those if we’re too tired to drive or have to be back later or -” he waves a hand, “whatever. If people need to come over. Those apartments can be where that happens. And our official addresses. But the rest of the time,” he reaches out and takes Shane’s hand, can’t look him in the eyes, but can run their fingers together, “I want to be with you whenever we can.” He looks up at Shane, to find him looking down at the phone, fingers scrolling through the photos and a soft look on his face. It gives him courage, so he continues. “I miss you.” Shane looks up at that, smiling, and Ilya can’t not smile back, it’s impossible. “And I know, it’ll be a lot of driving. If we only have practice it’ll be two hour round trip. And an early flight will be horrible but -” he hesitates, squeezing the hand he’s holding, and makes himself continue, “I want to live with you. I want to go to sleep in a bed that’s ours. I want your gross bird food in our fridge. I want your stupid boring car in our garage next to my cool car. I want -”

He’s cut off then as Shane surges forward and kisses him, one hand coming up to grip his hair as tightens the hold on their hands together. The kiss is hot and hard and Shane gives himself over to it completely. After a far too short amount of time, Shane pulls away, but not too far, resting their foreheads together. “That’s the best idea I’ve ever heard. Fuck I love you so much.”
