Sequel to my Izuna in Wonderland comic where this time Izuna needs to smooch everyone in Wonderland to go home

Touka, Hashirama and Tobirama get a smooch on the lips but when he gets to Madara he's like "euck,, kissing my brother?? Gross"

Mito: "Huh? I never said you had to kiss them on the mouth tho?"

Izuna: "WHY DIDNT YOU SAY THAT EARLIER???"

Mito: ":)"

Izuna: "I LITERALLY MADE OUT WITH YOUR HUSBAND IN FRONT OF YOU????"

Mito is patiently waiting for her smooch

Izuna wakes up the next day unable to look anyone in the eyes

I've been thinking about the concept of Izuna the mermaid and I think it fits the chthonic and creepy image. A monster that lives in the depths of the ocean and sometimes drinks to the surface for fun and food.

And Touka. A monster hunter and adventurer who explores the ocean.

I had more concepts, but I'm not sure if I'll finalize them further, but

A little snippet of them:

They lie in her small boat - it rocks from the weight of the mermaid, and his tail sticks out over the edges. Izuna rests his head on her knee. Izuna licks the blood from her hands - because she allowed it. And begs for more. Izuna wants to eat her so badly, unbearably - but after that victory, he can't. He is so drawn to her flesh, how delicious it must taste, after being able to catch him in the net. It's the thought that excites him. That a human was able to match him, even through luck.

She had caught him. She caught him. He'd batted at the net, he'd seen her cheeky smile as he'd been dragged onto her flimsy boat.

He's interested.

„Tobirama is the gayest of them all and he’s still surrounded by girls!” The complaint came from Izuna who stood in the entrance of the university’s canteen and gawped with Hashirama at his side at the faraway table where the mentioned white-haired man was chatting with the loves of their lives.

“Yeah! And he doesn’t even need that attention! I mean he has Madara already…” the taller of the two pouted. “I bet he would even appreciate if we helped him out there,” said Izuna thoughtfully, totally ignoring the content emotion spread out on the younger Senju’s face. “And the girls deserve someone who actually cares about them in a much deeper way like we do...” mused Hashirama, overlooking the happy way the two women regarded their pale friend, sitting at the other side of their lunch table.

The standing men, desperate for their crushes’ attention, looked at each other, nodded decisively and made their way to the table.

Tobirama had had a quality time with his two best friends, reminiscing about the time when he had utterly destroyed their misogynistic lector during a lecture in an argument in his first year at the university. It was after that that Mito had started to hang with Tobirama and his relative To u ka, the three of them forming a kind of “gang”. They were known as a group of people who you don’t mess with even though the most “dreadful” thing anyone had witnessed them committing, was a cold disapproving look. And honestly, that was enough to shut up any ignorant guy trying to teach them what women actually want of men, for example. Though, it seemed that their reputation wasn’t enough to keep away the foolest of them all.

Tobirama saw how his boyfriend’s younger brother and his own brother sat down at their table with a confident glint in their eyes. “Hi,” sang Hashirama who had sat so close to Mito that the latter felt the need to scoot away from the big toothy grin that was practically pushed into her face without reserve. Izuna, on the other hand, had positioned himself so that he could look directly at To u ka as he murmured with a flirty look: “Santa’s lap isn’t the only place wishes come true.” After that, he spread his legs a bit further so that his knee was touching To u ka’s.

If looks could kill, Izuna would have been dead the second the unwanted physical contact had been achieved. (Un)fortunately, he was too arrogant to take the hint and interpreted the fiery gaze as a good reaction to his pick up line.

Mito didn’t look much better either, looking obviously tensed up and keeping her eyes in one spot somewhere on the canteen’s wall further in front of her, making herself as passive as possible. Hashirama, oblivious as ever, saw this as Mito accepting the closeness he offered.

If there would have been any other people suffering so clearly in front of Tobirama, he would have stood up right away, demanding the poor souls to be left alone. But these were Mito and To u ka in front of him and even though he had the urge to stop this unfunny “game” right now, he held himself back because he knew the women would want to give the deserved finishing blow themselves .

He didn’t have to wait long. T he two women stood up at the same time and Mito, seeming ly calm on the outside but definitely boiling on the inside, held her chin up and asked rhetorically: “Is this what growing into an adult woman is – having to predict and accordingly arrange for the avoidance of harassment?” Finally looking at Hashirama and glancing at Izuna, Mito made sure to express her distaste before walking out on the now shocked men. “Come on, Tobirama! Let’s look for a place where unbearably brash insolence isn’t that common,” called To u ka through her teeth and then turned to follow Mito.

“I’m unbearable,” gasped Izuna silently, wide eyes gazing after Touka and then landing on Hashirama who in turn looked like he might start crying. Tobirama didn’t feel any sympathy at all seeing them like this. “You heard the ladies,” was all he offered before standing up to follow the others.

“But… But I’m cute! Surely Touka sees that?” Izuna looked now up at Tobirama, as if trying to find any kind of reassurance. “And I just wanted to be close to her!” chirped Hashirama in and then his voice got quieter after every following word. “Mito didn’t seem to be against it...” He’s eyes landed on Tobirama also, waiting for his brother to say something.

Tobirama had to close his eyes and raise his left hand to cover his frustrated face. A few moments after collecting himself again, Tobirama lowered his hand and looked at Hashirama and Izuna. “If you don't respect her, you obviously don't deserve her.” With that Tobirama left the miserable figures to contemplate their wrongs in hope that they would change their behaviour rather sooner than later as that would make everyone’s lives so much easier.

Thanks to @blackkatmagic (really, actually, really thank you ^^) I’m completely sold on Touka/Izuna, and Touka being one of the most awesome of awesome characters out there. Now that I’ve finally taken the step to draw her, I’m cursing that she wont be prominent in bad blue. I want to draw here moooore <3 But in gardenverse you bet she’ll hang around with Izuna all the time, laughing together at Tobirama’s and Madara’s horrible gardening attempts. (and I give her different hair knots all the time x3)

Chapter 120: IzunaTouka

For as long as Izuna could remember he had always had one opponent when his own clan met with the Senju in battle and, although he would never admit to it out loud, his reasons for facing Tobirama were similar to the reasons that his brother faced off against Hashirama each time. Should the two evenly matched pairs ever split apart and find others to fight there would be carnage on both sides. There were few who could hope to match any of the titans from either the Uchiha or Senju ranks.

Which is why it had been so strange for Izuna to scan the battlefield before him and realize that Tobirama was nowhere to be found; strange, but not truly a bad thing. If the Senju wished to leave themselves open to slaughter then he was more than willing to oblige them.

His legs were coiled and a mere instant away from launching himself towards a pocket of younger looking fighters harassing a lesser clan member when he was stopped by a woman placing herself squarely in front of him. Izuna cocked an eyebrow and gave the stranger a quick once over. She was old enough that there was little chance she didn’t know who he was so he had to give her credit for having the bravery to face him. Whether she thought she could take him or if she only meant to give her own life to slow him down for a while he didn’t know – didn’t care – but either way he made a snap decision to oblige her. A smirk crossed his face as she took a stance, sharp naginata leveled at his chest. This promised to be fun.

She was taller than him, if only barely, and carried enough muscle that he would have called her body delicious if she’d come from his own clan – and just the idea of finding any of the Senju attractive was almost enough to put him off his footing. Izuna quickly shook the thought away and activated his eyes in the hopes of putting this stranger off of her game just to equal the playing field.

Instead, the woman raised her chin and rather deliberately met his eyes straight on. There wasn’t time to be impressed, although he really kind of was. As soon as their eyes met it felt as though the earth’s gravity were shifting and pulling him somehow forwards rather than down. Izuna and the Senju woman stared at each other in startled awe, almost completely forgetting about the battle going on around them until he watched her instinctively tilt her head to one side to avoid a stray kunai. He noticed that her movements were economical and sharp, no energy wasted on trying to look fancy or move more than was absolutely necessary.

To his detriment, it was her that recovered first from the shock.

With a smirk to rival the smugness of his own the woman stepped forward and swept one foot across his ankles, tumbling him backwards on to his ass before he could gather his wits enough to dodge. All the breath whooshed out of him at once as his back cracked against the dirt and then he froze, held in place by a blade against his neck. The woman slowly winked one eye at him from where she stood haloed by the sun above them.

“How interesting,” she murmured. Izuna could feel his heart thundering against his ribs. “And here I thought you were supposed to be some kind of amazing fighter. Tobes goes on and on about how he can never beat you but it took me less than a minute to dump you on your ass. I’ll have to make sure to rub this in his face when he gets home.”

“I was just distracted,” Izuna insisted, trying very hard to pretend that wasn’t a whine he could hear in his own voice. The look she gave him was almost patronizing and he really shouldn’t have found that so attractive.

“Does it matter? You’re still in the dirt and at my mercy.”

Now that he should probably not have found attractive – but damn it he really, truly did. Izuna swallowed thickly, wincing when the movement pressed his throat more tightly against the blade pressing in to his skin, then he listen, entranced, to the sharp laughter the action earned him.

“Seems I’ve wasted enough of your time; my cousin appears to be calling the retreat. Fly away now little Uchiha, back to your nest with the rest of your carrion.”

With that she lifted the blade and turned her back. If she were even an ounce less confident in her own abilities he was sure she would never have done so. Or maybe, he mused wryly, she was just that confident in how dumb he’d been rendered at the discovery of his own soulmate. He scrambled frantically to his feet and called out to her before she’d taken more than a few steps away.

“Your name!” he blurted. “Tell me you name!” She gave him a brief assessing look over one shoulder, feet paused in mid-step.

“I’m not in the habit of following the orders of any Uchiha vulture. Even the cute ones who turn out to be my soulmate.” One eyebrow arched and then she was gone, pushing off the ground to quit the field with the rest of her brethren. Izuna slumped back down to the ground with a slack jaw and his blood pounding in his ears.

She was amazing. He’d only known her for however little time it had taken for their two patrol squads to clash and immediately retreat but he could already say with absolute confidence that she was the most amazing woman he’d ever met. Nervously, he wondered what her impression of him had been.

Hikaku was already wearing a tired expression when he touched down at his cousin’s side. The younger man’s ponytail was loose and drooping, blood smeared across one of his cheeks, and there was a familiar slump to his shoulders which said he was already exasperated before he’d even asked what happened. Hilting his sword, he looked Izuna up and down with a critical eye. Then he crossed his arms and sighed.

“You want to explain to me how some nobody Senju got the drop on you so easily?”

“She isn’t just some nobody,” Izuna breathed in reverence. “She’s my soulmate.” Hikaku stared at him in surprise for a moment before clapping a hand over his eyes. A quiet groan escaped the poor man.

“Of course your soulmate is a Senju. Of course. Your brother is not going to like this at all and I hope you know that I will not be the one to tell him!” Throwing up both hands, he walked away grumbling under his breath. “Just let her knock your feet right out from under you. Didn’t even try to stop it. Idiot. How we’ve kept you alive for so many years is beyond me.”

Used to his uptight cousin’s ways, Izuna had already stopped listening before Hikaku even finished turning around. He was too busy gazing off in the direction the Senju disappeared with a transcendent expression on his face.

Next time their two clans met he would definitely be keeping an eye out for a beautifully muscled woman who drew him in like she was the center of his own personal gravity field. And even if it was the last thing he ever did he would learn her name; if it had to be the last word on his dying breath he would learn it. He might have known her for less than ten minutes but Izuna knew one thing for certain.

This was love.
