And just the ones of our favorites.
ScreenRant just released a bit more of blurb about Bookish Series 2 and some info is very interesting to pay attention to, which will be spoiler
Bookish Appreciation Week
Favorite Quote: "I'm good at knocking things together. I... I always have been. Wardrobes... Wireless sets... Heads. I was in the Land Army."
One of my favorite quotes + the awkward moment of Jack accidentally finding his new boss's wife attractive.
Bookish Appreciation Week, June 28th - July 4th!
It's time for the first ever Bookish Appreciation Week! This will be a week in celebration of the tv show Bookish, before the second series airs!
All forms of creation welcome! Gifs, screenshots, fanfictions, video edits, meta, headcanons, art, you name it!
How to participate: Create anything you'd like and either use the tag #bookish appreciation week or you can go ahead and tag this blog! I will be reblogging everything that's posted.
Rules: No AI usage of any kind. Don't use the tag for other media (i.e. don't make a Sherlock gif set and call it Bookish).
Q: Do I need to use the prompt list to participate? A: No, that's just to help get people's gears turning! Use some, all, or none, it's up to you! The prompt list is just general.
General Prompt List: Color Quote Relationship(s) Favorite Character(s) Emotion Books Favorite Scene ---- And that should do it! Feel free to ask questions if you need clarification on anything.
This is my family. I found it, all on my own. It's little, and broken, but still good. Yeah, still good.

Bookish + Family
This teaser still is so funny to me. Like, what's going on here?
Why is Trottie staring at right at the camera? It's made even more obvious by the fact she is the only thing in the shot facing pointed at the camera.
What is with Jack's suit? That suit immediately made me think of those white-and-black striped prison uniforms, which isn't exactly great considering his past. Either that or he's with the mafia (though the stripes are maybe a little wide for that).
Why is Colonel Winters' hand on Trottie's back? I guess maybe he's actually holding the car door, but Trottie is in the way.
Something is going on between Colonel Winters and Jack and Trottie is just. In the middle. She might be pushing Jack into the taxi so they can get away from Winters (is he harassing them? Asking the wrong sorts of questions?) or she's seeing Jack off. Who knows.
All in all, out of context it looks like some sort of picture where mom and dad are sending their kid off to college or his first job.
I am very curious about the actual context.
All right! By popular vote (46.2%) the first Bookish appreciation week will be held June 7th - 13th!
Now is the time to vote on whether or not there should be a theme/prompt for each day or just a free for all! There would be no requirement to adhere to participate, this would just be for fun/to give people ideas!
Should Bookish Appreciation Week Have Themes/Prompts?
No
Yes (One For Each Day)
Yes (Just a General List)
I know this is a pretty close date for some people, but I wanted this to happen before series 2 airs in the UK, so we can absolutely do something like this in the autumn as well.
