LEE SANGYEON — “i think you could’ve been a little nicer to me today”

you and sangyeon are on your couch, his arm around you as you lean into his side after a dinner date, now watching something on netflix. you’d be lying if you said this movie was interesting, more than once you’ve had to ask sangyeon what’s happening in the film. you had asked to turn off the movie and watch it another night, just wanting to cuddle with him but he insisted that it was almost over and then, he would give you the cuddles you so badly wanted. but his “almost over” wasn’t soon enough, almost dying of boredom by the time he finally announced that it was done. 

he scoops you up into his arms to take you to your room to cuddle like you had asked and while he’s brushing his teeth, you decide that now would be the perfect time to try out a new tiktok trend on him. you set up your camera on the nightstand and so that you were both visible and started recording, calling out to your boyfriend.

“babe, i feel like you could’ve been a little nicer to me today,” you call, crossing your arms and pouting to add to the act.

almost immediately, sangyeon stumbles out of the bathroom, eyes wide and panicked. he quickly moves in front of you and takes your hands in his, lips turned downwards into a concerned frown. 

“is this about not cuddling you while we were watching the movie? i’m so sorry, baby, i was just really looking forward to watching it but i should’ve watched it alone and spent more time with you. i’m sorry, my love,” he says genuinely and you almost feel bad for pulling this prank but you also feel like he deserved it for not paying attention to you for so long so you wrap your arms around his neck and bury your face into his shoulder, leaning up to whisper in his ear.

“jacob! wanna do a tiktok with me?” you call to your boyfriend who’s in the kitchen, grabbing you two a snack.

you motion him towards your bed and he sits beside you, an arm wrapped securely around your waist. you set up the camera on your nightstand, smiling and hitting record. jacob doesn’t recognize the audio, brows furrowing as the girl’s voice begins to come from your phone. 

“if you like a guy, clap your hands,” she says, and you do, causing a large smile to break out onto jacob’s face, pulling you closer and kissing your cheek. 

“if he doesn’t like you back, clap your hands,” is what comes next and jacob’s eyes widen when you clap, pulling away to look at you with big eyes. 

“baby, i love you though,” he pouts, pressing another kiss to your cheek and almost missing the next part of the audio.

it was obvious he was confused, especially by the second part. did you not think he loved you? was he not showing you enough? he knew you two got busy sometimes but he still thought he did a good job at being your boyfriend.

“if you’re talking to a guy and he has a lot of sides and he played you like a game, clap your hands,” she finishes and this time, jacob’s hands grab your wrists to prevent you from clapping, pulling them apart. as he does this, you’re giggling, your head thrown back as he stares at you, confused. 

“baby, what was that? you know i love you, right? i would never play you,” he pouts, turning to face you. 

you smile knowingly and take his face into your hands, squishing his cheeks gently. jacob really was the sweetest boyfriend anyone could ask for and seeing him pout like this and try to justify himself made you that much more thankful to have someone as loving as him in your life (maybe you did feel a little bad for pranking him though).

“i know, jacob, it’s just a tiktok trend. i know you love me and i love you more,” you whisper before pressing a soft kiss to his lips and just like that jacob is smiling again, all is forgiven.

KIM YOUNGHOON — kissing your best friend

scrolling through tiktok, you see a trend show up multiple times on your for you page, the “kissing my best friend” challenge. some of the girls got their crush to kiss them back while the others were pushed away. as you watched these videos, one person consistently came to mind. your best friend of basically your entire life, kim younghoon. 

you had liked him since you could remember, falling for his sweet smile and kind personality, and it didn’t help that you lived next door meaning you were always around him. you knew all of his friends and he knew yours, you knew each other’s favourite foods, colours, music genres, practically everything; the only thing he didn’t know about was the huge crush you had on him.

since you were practically sure he didn’t like you back, you decide that why not try the trend? if he pushed you away, then what did you have to lose? other than a lifelong friendship with one of the most important people in your life, of course. the thought of possibly losing him because of a stupid tiktok trend made you a little nervous but you decide that it’s worth it, hiding your feelings forever would do you no good. 

younghoon comes over after class one day, casually strolling around your kitchen, looking for something to eat. he eventually settles on some chips, leaning against your counter as he eats them. 

“y/n! are you coming? i’m gonna eat all of your chips if you don’t hurry,” he calls, playfulness clear in his tone. 

“coming!” you call out, taking a deep breath and trying to run over your next actions in your mind. you were actually going to do this.

you set up your phone on the counter, out of sight but still facing the two of you as you enter the kitchen, hitting record. you walk up to him and before he has the opportunity to say anything you lean up and press your lips against his, quickly pulling away when he tenses. you’re about to apologize when he gently grabs your jaw, tilting your head up to kiss you again, a little longer this time. 

by the time you two pull away, your face is flushed and lips are a little swollen, panting a little as your heart rate skyrockets, feeling like it was going to beat out of your chest. you open your eyes and look up at younghoon to see him staring at the phone that had stopped recording long ago. he turns back to you, a small frown on his lips.

“you didn’t just do that for the tiktok, right?” he asks, his voice sounding a little sad, a little hope laced into his words too.

when you shake your head, he grins, pulling you closer once more and cupping your face, brushing his lips against yours as he leans in.

“then i guess, we can keep doing this.”

LEE JAEHYUN — “yo shawty, is your man still around?”

you huff at the lack of attention that your boyfriend, hyunjae, was providing you, playing video games with his friends. usually, you didn’t mind when he played games when you were over but it had been almost four straight hours of gaming without anything but a “babe, guess what?” here and there, followed by some stupid story someone had told him before he went back to his game. you asked him multiple times when he would be done so that you two could go for a lunch date like you had planned and every time, he’d say “we’ll go soon, bub, i’m almost done,” before turning back to the screen and continuing to play.

to say you were getting bored and frustrated would be an understatement, sitting there and expecting him to log off any time now. yet he continued playing, laughing loudly and shouting, his headset covering one ear while the other, the one facing you, was tucked behind his ear so that if you said anything (not that he listened), he could hear you.  

to try and at least deal with the boredom, you begin scrolling through tiktok, smiling occasionally until one of the videos piques your interest. the girl had used a fake facetime audio to pretend that another man had called her, asking her if her “man was still around”. the boyfriend’s reaction was hilarious, his eyes widening as he shot up, moving towards her to ask who had called. the video was captioned “how to get his attention” jokingly, and you instantly think that maybe this would work on hyunjae. the facetime audio seemed really realistic so you were sure he’d fall for it. you quickly set up the audio, holding your phone to make it seem like you were actually facetiming someone while the camera was actually facing hyunjae. 

you hit record and instantly the sound of the facetime dial tone fills the room, hyunjae turning back to you, slightly confused before shrugging probably assuming that it was one of your friends. you almost laugh at his confusion before the deep voice of the male in the video fills the silence.

“yo shawty, your man still around?”

instantly, hyunjae shoots up, sending you a wide-eyed look as you pretend to reply, saying a quick goodbye to his friends and logging out, taking his headset off and walking towards the bed where you are.

“y/n? who is that? who are you talking to? and did he just call you shawty? wh-” 

he’s cut off by your laughter as you show him your screen, a sigh escaping his lips when he realizes that he had been tricked. he reaches for your phone to get rid of the video, embarrassed but you quickly save the video before he can get it, laughing the entire time. he pouts, frowning as he shoves you gently.

“that was really mean, babe, i thought you were talking to another guy,” he huffs, crossing his arms over his chest. you chuckle again, leaning up to press a kiss to the corner of his lips.

“that’s what you get for not paying attention to me or being ready for our lunch date,” you explain and a guilty smile appears on his face.

after that, hyunjae made sure that he was always on time for dates and gave you lots of kisses and cuddles to make up for it.

Jacob would be happy for her sister, as any sibling would be for their sister to be married to the man she loves; but Jacob would be resentful at first to go to his sister’s wedding. But, this gave him another excuse to wear the suit again.

He would be one of 2 options at the wedding: Greenie’s Best Man or the one that walks Evie down the Isle; I would go for him walking Evie down the Isle and giving her away. He wouldn’t say this out loud, but he was really happy that Evie and Henry were together and happy. 

During the ceremony, he would probably scoff at a few things and roll his eyes just to piss Evie off, but only because he was bored out of his mind.

Now here comes the reception part. Jacob would be the one to dance with her, even though he doesn’t like it at first. When it came to let him get something to eat, he would most likely stuff his gob with almost everything that is being served. 

When it came to the speeches and saying a few words, this would have been a perfect opportunity to embarrass her, but decided not to cause its his sis’s big day and all. 

He’d probably say something like “Congratulations are in order for my dear sister and Henry for their union. I am very happy that Evie has someone as good a man as Henry to take care of her; but just as fair warning, Henry, prepare not to have anymore decent nights sleep because this one snores louder than a ho- Ouch! Evie! I was just jokin’! Stop it!”
