Models - Evolution
Extended Remix by Julian Mendelsohn.
Nick Launay seems to be one of those producers that manages to find himself in a multitude of different musicians, so him helming a record by Models, an Australian pop group, doesn't seem like out of reach for him. Actually, he does equip himself well for the challenge, because the laissez-faire vibe can be present there. Surprisingly, I might add, because such groups tended to have issues about being fully relaxed on their discs. Then again, the musical technology back then might be have been groundbreaking, but one must also know that machinery was also a pain in the ass. Thus, you needed someone, who could guide you calmly through the travails of the mechanical complexities and Mr. Launay seemed to be the guy for that.
