Series I want Tom King to do instead of Batman.

Look I like King as a writer and as a person but his Batman has been to up and down for me, especially if the leak turns out to be true, that I am considering dropping the series. So here are some series that he should be doing instead. All these series are ideally 12 issue minis because really I feel that is where he is best.

Swamp Thing: The Winter Special he wrote is good, and tbh after I finished his Vision series I felt he would make a good ongoing Swamp Thing writer. Kind of annoyed Alec has not made many appearances outside cameos since Rebrith started and King on Swamp Thing would be a great seller

John Constantine: King could write an amazing John Constantine. Overlaps with my desire to see him on Swamp Thing

Steve Rogers Captain America: Probably won’t happen for years because of King’s DC exclusivity but at the same time holy shit could this be a good fit.  King has good politics (solidly left), a military background, a good respect for Kirby and I feel King would be a good fit for Steve.

Wolverine: King like legit one of the few writers that could make me interested in Logan again, and King could probably write a decent Laura if he tried. Also if could get Mitch Gerads to do art because Geards’s Logan would be a treat.
