Requested : Jalice story where Alice is on her period.
This was actually really fun to write , thank you!
Alice was acting really odd in her messages to James and he couldn’t figure out what he’d done. She was replying with one word answers which was something she only did if she was mad or angry at James , but what had he done….. He texts Alice
J- look, I know something’s up but could you just tell me what I’ve done to piss you off so I can say sorry xxx
J- come on ally , why are you acting like this? Are you ok? Xxx
A- I’m not telling you , you know what can you just leave me alone! Stop messaging me and just leave me alone!
J- oh…….. so I’ll be at your house in 30 minuets , get well soon xxx
James realised that Alice was actually on her period. It all made sense , the sudden hatred towards him , the illness and the one word texts , his baby was in pain and needed him desperately. James pulls on a t shirt and a hoodie , Alice’s favourite hoodie, and walks from his house to the shop. When he gets there he realises just how clueless he is about periods and has no idea what to buy, so he calls Alice.
J-heyyyyy ,so I’m in the shop
J- and,well , I don’t know what to buy you for the ….. blood.
A- oh… well thanks for going ! I’ve actually almost ran out and was going to come myself! So I’m guessing you mean do I wear a pad or use a tampon?
J- riiiight… yeah that’s what I mean
~ James had no idea what they were called so he just went along with what Alice was saying ~
A- just a pad will be fine , the small Ines though.
J- can you tell me what they look like??
A-* giggles * they should be in a blue packet? Says “always” on it ? And the words small underneath … found them?
J- ally there’s this woman down the isle who’s looking at me weird…
J- * whispering * why is she looking at me like that???
A- well have you found the pads?
J- yeah, at the moment I’m just trying to pick up as many packets as I can but they keep falling on to the floor!
A- James! You only need one packet ! That’s why the woman was looking at you funny!
J- oh! Well thanks … bye , love you
A- love you too * end of phone call*
James quickly shoved all he extra packets back into the shelf and walked down the chocolate isle , he was visibly holding the pack of pads and was getting weird looks from boys his age as he walked down the isle but he just ignored them. He stared at the many varieties of chocolate bars, there were so many and James was very bad at making decisions . In the end the only thing he’d decided was that he needed a basket, he walked back down the isle to the tills and picked up a basket. He then put the pads in the basket and walked back done the chocolate isle. He put all the chocolate he knew Alice like into the basket, which was quite a bit. He then made his way to the till where he unloaded the contents of his basket on to the conveyor belt. “ you must be the best boyfriend ever!” The woman on the till said , James smiled and blushed ,“ thanks !” He replied. The woman began scanning the items and passing them to James to put into the shopping bag. “That will be £45 please.” Said the woman on the till . James handed over the money and walked out the shop.
He walked a little bit further , into lush. The perfumed smell hit him like a thousand scents merging into one , it was powerful and quite frankly it was giving him a headache all ready. He looked around at all the brightly coloured bath bombs and soaps. He eventually found one he thought smelled decent and would give off relaxing vibes. He bought it and left the store. He went into a florists to buy a bouquet of flowers and went into another shop to buy Alice a hot water bottle and painkillers just incase, he didn’t know how bad the pain was.
He was walking along the street when he realised he had told Alice he’d take 30 minuets and he was actually going to take 50 , it’s a pathetic thing to worry about , but James did so he texted Alice J- hey , I’m going to be 20 minuets later than the time I said I’d be there , I’m so sorry xx
A- it’s fine Jamie! Don’t worry it’s ok! Love you xxx
J- love you too xx I’m on my way xx
James was walking to ally’s house. It was winter so it was pretty cold outside , but the cold never really bothered James, and all he could think about was getting to Alice’s house as fast as possible , even if his bag of chocolates and bath bomb and a hot water bottle was getting a bit heavy, James ignored it .
He approached Alice’s house and went inside the gate and up to the door, the car was gone which meant Neville and Hannah were out , so they could’ve taken frank with them , leaving Alice at home by herself , or he could still be there.
knock knock He waited for a while until the door opened slightly to reveal Alice , wearing her silk pink dressing gown with a fluffy throw wrapped around her. A smile spread across her face as she realised who it was ,“ come in! ” she said , and let James come in. They immediately went up to her bedroom and climbed in Alice’s bed.
“So what do you want to watch?” Alice said whilst flicking through Netflix.
Knowing how much she liked it James said ,“ teen wolf?” Alice’s smile grew even more until suddenly her smile dropped off her face , “ I’m going to the toilet!” She said before she got quickly off of her bed , chucking off her dressing gown .
James heard the bathroom door closed and figured he would wait for her until she got back. 30 minuets had passed and she still wasn’t back, James decided that if she couldn’t come to Netflix , Netflix would come to her.
Their was a tap on the bath room door ,“Jamie? Is that you?” Alice says. The door opened slightly , and stood at the door was James , he walked into the the bathroom , with him he had brought ; Alice’s laptop, to watch Netflix on, a hot water bottle , just in case and his huge chocolate supply. He sat on the floor next to Alice and positioned the laptop so that they could both see it. “ oh and I almost forgot !” James said whilst standing up, and pulling out from behind him Alice’s favourite hoodie of his ,“ arms up! ” he said and slid the hoodie down onto Alice’s body. It was so warm and comfortable and it smelled amazing. James clicked on play and they watched the first episode whilst eating chocolate and laughing.
When the first episode was up, Alice was ready to go back to her room. So the party was moved again. This time, they snuggled in between the sheets and Alice rested her head on James’ chest . Wincing slightly as her cramps started up again , James pulled her even closer to him and wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead. They stayed like that until Alice had fallen asleep in his arms .
