I kinda took the day to relax a bit and calm down my nerves, but here's my daily report:
January 7th of 2026
the US took at least two ships carrying oil from Venezuela— they were Russian ships, I think.
BRICS countries are trying to defy/evade the US blockage and transport Venezuelan oil.
Venezuela and the US are making a deal in which basically all our oil will go to them in the exchange of the supplies we haven't been able to get in years given their sanctions (food, medicine, etc).
Given the fact most sources don't speak about the civilian casualties, Venezuelans have decided to share pics of the destroyed homes and share the names of the civilians they know that died, but weren't reported.
The UN, the Internal Penal Court and other countries have condemned the US attacks on Venezuela.
A initiative in the US Congress is pushing to judge Trump based on his illegal acts and to stop further attacks against Venezuela.
Multiple protests against Trump and the attack on Venezuela across the US.
ICE has intensified their activities again.
Venezuelan Maduro supporters and Venezuelans who defend the invasion faces each other on the Venezuela embassy in Mexico (people from the same country have different perspectives on something and they are not a one mass of a single thought, who would have guessed)
So...
Russia is getting more angry given the fact that the US keeps directly stealing his oil ships (bad because no one wants WWIII) while Venezuela is complying with US demand to avoid another attack so soon (bad but not as bad, it's the best option at least for now).
