Jayce/Silco is such an underrated dynamic imo
Both as a ship or just as platonic character interaction. Like. If you think about it, they have such potential:
a) They already met in canon (and what a meeting it was).
b) Their character traits are so complementary. Silco is a mistrustful, cunning, slippery bastard. Jayce is naive and honest to a fault.
Silco will ruminate forever on how people wronged him. Jayce is probably one of the most loving and forgiving people in all of Arcane. (Like, the dude canonically powered of love his way out of the literal apocalypse. Jayce Talis, the man that you are.)
Jayce wears his emotions on his sleeve. Silco invented a whole Rebirth Narrative™ to avoid them.
Silco can't trust anyone. Jayce literally can't help but trust everyone. (He doesn't even haggle.)
Jayce is nice and kind to people for no other reason than it being a good thing to do. This notion alone would be enough to make Silco's brain go Error 404: Page Not Found.
They're both smart. They're both idealistic. They both want to do good to Zaun (albeit in very misguided - and on Jayce's side, ignorant - ways). Jayce has Vander's big warm golden retriever energy, without the association to an inherent threat of violence Vander holds for Silco.
There's so. much. potential. They make such a pair.
