So I might've read the bonus Barnes & Noble scene from Lost Stars without even finishing A Vision of Shadows... Curiosity got the best of me lol. And I'm glad it did! Here's a warmup whiteboard Jayfeather.

time to (finally) start this blog off with a jayfeather!! i love the idea that he's a lot darker like his father i was gonna draw him with his abandoned twoleg nest garden, but i cba today. maybe another time uwu i wanna keep drawing the wc cast, so feel free to request a cat/ship!! 🧡

Me and @midgepetal are making an AU (in short it's what if Hollyleaf had powers instead of Dovewing and Applefur was the fourth cat instead of Firestar to explain her time travel and I think she was massively underutilised.) There's a lot more stuff like trans femme Jayf and a whole plot line around that and stuff (and Hollyleaf gets a lot of focus and she is a puller of chics. You'll understand later). Hollyleaf sees almost every future and Applefur can travel through time and universe, mostly accidentally at first, but she can do it fully at will and not by the will of afterlife like Jayfeather.

Fun fact: each prophecy cat has a little marker. It first appears as a dot on somewhere on their fur and on their front right pawpad when they find our their status as a prophecy cat, and it becomes a star when they all find each other. Applefur skipped this as she was taken aside by Jayf before Hollyleaf's announcement and they all found out each other's status because the gathering started.

And to explain Dovewing: it was a mistake, and she instead has hyperacusis. But the Clans don't have a great concept of disability, so instead they think she had powers. An outsider helps. Yes, it is a storyline. A very angsty one (it is being written with the help/by someone with a hypersensitivity to sound, BTW!)

And one last little thing: the whole Ancients thing is still a massive WiP

but we are struggling with deciding oh an AU name. Help pls
