Another thing i like about sense8 is that it truly portrays sex as this normal regular fine healthy even appealing thing to be enjoyed. What Sun said about sex they really portray. ‘We exist because of sex. It is not something to be afraid of. It is something to honor. To enjoy.’ They don’t…they don’t go like: ‘oh no let us turn the cameras away!!!’ They include sex as normal positive parts of the characters’ relationships and desires and dedicate whole scenes to it that…focus on the orchestra - i wanna say - hm. The camera always seems to focus on the coming together of bodies, and nudity is just part of that. In a sensate way slow-mo all over the place astral projection concert, or just regular as well. An everyday practice that isn’t loaded with all kinds of stuff. It seems to be purely about subjective desire. It is like a naturalisation of it. Which seems like a stupid thing to say, but honestly the show made a good point of it! Objectification, they avoid it so completely?
