Now, Like Amorous Birds of Prey - B29

If you like time fuckery this is the one for you. This fic is B29's first foray into Taskhusbands and it is actually so devastatingly well constructed, written (the poetry?? the cadence??) and characterised that I had a minor meltdown for a couple days, like...damn, this is how I want to write when I grow up, yknow? (Strong rec for their ongoing fairytale fic as well, it's stunning and perfect for those who love to see contestants lovingly crafted into side characters who appear all over the place)

If you like things on the kinkier side...this fic seriously contributed to me wanting to try writing for the first time. I love what a different exploration of d/s we see here, especially in how Alex's desires are drawn...it's super interesting and really pushes the 'damn that's fuckin hot' button - in my brain at least.
