Listen, I love Regulus' animagi being a black cat just as much as the next person, but can someone PLEASEEEE hear me out on his animagi being a Raven??

I don't know I just think it fits him so well and imagine the POSSIBILITIES. especially with the cave. What if in an au where he was a Raven animagi. What if instead of being pulled under he just... Flew above the inferi???

Him being a Raven spying on Sirius anytime he wants because he could just fly to wherever Sirius is. Him even in human form enjoying building little nests of blankets and pillows.

Also yk, Ravens are known as being a sign of death, so him flying above the Potter house as Lily and James died, being just too late to save them

Please can someone see my vision.

I promise I'll post a proper story soon; I just lost my laptop and have also been very time-consumed with this new Jegulus fic idea :3 Speaking of said idea, here's a paragraph from the teaser of the fic I'll be making!!!

On the bed was a boy, possibly a year or two younger than James. And James had to admit, he was beautiful. His hair curled over half of his face in an ebony black fringe, and was only just long enough to be tied into a mini ponytail at the back. He had skin as pale as brand-new parchment, and it was smooth enough to resemble a babies. And his eyes… The only thing that James could find himself comparing them to were diamonds. So blue, and so light, that you could almost believe they glowed in the dark. And they were so, so unimpressed as they bore into James’ plain hazels.
