Jensen looked up from where he was setting up some food as yelling broke out and started getting louder. He was catering for a wedding, and while someone getting upset about something not being perfect in the final minutes was usual, all this yelling was not. At least not to his experience. Based on what he knew, the guests were outside where the wedding would take place, while the bride and groom prepared themselves in separate rooms. And there, in the main ballroom, he, and his assistants and everyone else hired to work this gig, were setting up.
He expected the wedding planner to come in, complaining about flowers, or placements, seating… anything, really. Maybe even mother of the bride, the flowers aren’t just right. The napkins are off. Maybe she didn’t want him putting food out just yet, that it would be too cold, even though he knew what he was doing better than anyone.
He wasn’t expecting a woman, makeup and hair done, but in nothing but a white housecoat to come storming his way. Her bare feet made an odd sound on the ballroom floor as she stormed past him. On her way by, she grabbed the edge of the table and flipped it, sending everything flying. BrideZilla. Oh how he dreaded those.
“Y/N!!” The wedding planner scurried after her, giving him an apologetic look.
“Who the fuck cares! The wedding is off!”
The ballroom had been cleared when groomsmen came running to see what was going on. Then he was allowed back in, guests were informed the wedding was off, but that they could help themselves to the food that was already prepared and out. His assistants got to work cleaning up the mess from the flipped table while he headed into the kitchen to clean up there.
When everything was said and done, he stepped out, and found you sitting alone, the ballroom empty. You had a plate in front of you, full of food he had prepared before your rampage. “You okay?”
“What do you care.” You mumbled, taking a bite. “Who the fuck are you, anyway?”
“The caterer.” You looked up and he gave you a small smile.
“You made this?” He nodded. “Maybe you were worth the ridiculous price he was paying for the food..”
“Thanks.. I think? Are you the-”
“Bride to be? I was. Until that piece of shit fucked my best friend on our goddamn wedding day.” You angrily took a bite then slammed your hand down on the table. “Who the fuck does that?” You looked up at him. “You work a lot of weddings I’m guessing?” He nodded. “You ever have that happen before? Couple, together for years, so in love they decide to get married. Then on the wedding day, he fucks her best friend and maid of honor IN THE FUCKING ROOM ACROSS THE GODDAMN HALL AND BLAMES IT ON LAST MINUTE JITTERS!?” You were screaming it, furious, knowing he was around somewhere trying to sort things out. “Because that's my fucking day right now.”
“That sucks.”
You shook your head. “No, me flipping your table, that fucking sucks.” You looked at him again. “Me destroying your entire day's work in 3 seconds, that fucking sucks. Me wasting 6 years of my life on that son of a bitch.” You scoffed. “That’s beyond sucking.” You shook your head. “Do you have more of this? I angry eat.”
He smiled. “I was cooking for over 200 people. Yeah, I got more. Hang on, I’ll go make you something. Don’t move.”
“Where the fuck would I even go.” You muttered and took another bite as he walked away.
When he came back out from the kitchen, you were still sitting there, but just poking at what was left on your plate. “I hope you're not full.” He took that plate away from you, and put a new plate down and walked away back into the kitchen. Then he came back out again, two mugs in his hands and sat across from you before handing you one.
You smiled softly looking down into the cup. “Mini marshmallows.”
“When I’m having a bad day, Crepe Suzette and a hot chocolate with marshmallows always cheers me up.” He took a sip of his own. “And you, sweetheart, are having a horrible fucking day. So, hot chocolate with mini marshmallows, and Crepe Suzette topped with berries, whipped cream, and a sprinkle of icing sugar.”
“Thanks.” you put the mug down, and picked up a fork. “Did he pay you yet?” Jensen shook his head. “Tell him I broke some equipment when I flipped my shit. Charge him double. Asshole deserves it.” He cocked an eyebrow. “Only thing I paid for, was my dress and that cake. And you better believe I’m taking that fucking cake.”
He laughed at that. “What about the dress?”
“Dye it black, wear it to his funeral and piss on his grave?”
“Good idea.” He grinned.
You took a bite and moaned around it. “What’s your name?”
“Jensen. Jensen Ackles.”
“Do you just cater events?”
He shook his head. “I own a restaurant downtown. It’s an alright place.”
“Do you serve cake?”
“Do I..” He looked confused by the question. “Sometimes, yeah. Desert menu changes up from time to time.. Don’t you have enough cake?” He motioned to the massive cake that had been made to serve over 200 people.
“I was kinda hoping you would take some.” You chuckled sadly. “As much as I want to eat it all in my misery, I’d probably die after just one layer. Plus, I’m really enjoying this. This is better than cake.”
He smiled and nodded. “Yeah, I can take some of that cake of your hands.” He watched you quietly eating, picking at the fruit for the moment. “Hey, since you're obviously not doing anything later,” You looked up, shooting him a bit of a glare. “how about you come by the restaurant, I’ll cook you dinner. Nothing fancy. You can even stay mostly naked if you want.” He gave you a teasing grin.
Glancing down, you realized you were still in your undergarments and house coat. Closing it a bit tighter you nodded. “That would be nice, actually. Thank you.”
“I’ll even charge him for the dinner. And.. how about dinner once a week for the next three months?” He gave you a wink, and you smiled and nodded.

Title: Love Of a Lifetime
MASTERLIST
“Breathe Y/N, Breathe.”
You repeated the words as the time to walk down the aisle came closer. The anxiety was building up a lump in your throat. After six years of dating, a child and unforgettable memories, the day was finally here. By the end of the day, you are going to be married to the man of your dreams.
You were going to be Mrs. Ackles.
What you felt wasn’t fear or anticipation. You loved Jensen and you couldn’t be happier to be his wife. But there was something inside that couldn’t let you think straight.
“Y/N? Are you ready?” Genevieve said.
You turned looking at the door, “Gen?”
“Yes?” She peeked her head into the hotel room.
Her eyes widen when she noticed your wedding dress was hanging still. You were in fact, not ready.
Genevieve’s glance was soft and understanding. “You’re nervous.”
“I am,” you accepted, letting a sigh full of relief out.
It felt oddly satisfying to accept such feeling. You’ve always tried your best to remain calm and strong with any situation but today you couldn’t just hide it.
“I can see it in your eyes,” she smiled softly, touching your bare shoulder as she walked pass you and grabbed the new and modern wedding dress off the hanger. “It so beautiful,” Genevieve said, admiring the dress once again. She turned to look at you, a grin across her face. “Jensen will faint once he sees you.”
“Yeah, it was a bitch to find the first time around,” you breathed out, “the second time around was even harder.” You felt the butterflies fluttering inside your belly once again.
You and Jensen decided to get married two weeks before going back to Vancouver. It was a spontaneous idea that with lots of help was possible in just a week of preparation.
Instead of having the previous extravagant wedding planned, you and Jensen decided to use the remains from the wedding and turn it into something more intimate.
Jensen had the brightest idea of using your own home as venue for the ceremony and reception. You guys had a big enough patio to make it work. Austin, Texas, would be the place where you and Jensen vow to each other and where you guys would call home.
You could listen the chatters and guest arriving as you spoke with Genevieve.
“I think I’m going to faint first.” You touched your stomach. The butterflies vanishing and your stomach began to clench. “I think this lingerie is too tight… I-I can’t breathe.”
Genevieve shook her head softly and placed the dress over the bed. “Hey,” she holds your hands. “Everything is going to be okay. Downstairs there is a man waiting for you. A man who is madly in love with you and you are with him.”
“I- I just don’t want to fuck things up. I love him so damn much and after everything that has happened… I don’t want to-,” You cracked a smile, a small tear running down your cheek. “I’ve never loved anyone as much as I love him…”
“I know,” Gen gently cleaned the tear away from your cheek. “Put the dress on, once you see him at the altar, you’ll feel so much better. Trust me.”
“Thank you, Gen,” you hugged her. “Thanks for not giving up on us.”
Genevieve hugged you back for a moment before breaking apart. She gently helped you to get into the gown. This must be the most delicate piece of clothing you owned. Watching yourself in the mirror felt like a daydream. The white dress made your skin glow, the lace was placed beautifully.
“You look beautiful.” Gen said behind you.
A smile appeared across your face, turning around you faced her. “I want to cry.”
“Don’t!” She smiled, her eyes gathering up tears. “You don’t want to mess your makeup.”
You chuckled and nodded, putting on the veil.
Gen nodded with the widest smile, “Ready?”
You took a deep breath, filling your lungs with air and courage. “Ready.”
Downstairs waiting for you was Genevieve and your father. Given the short noticed, Gen was the righteous maid of honor for this wedding. She was there when everything started with Jensen, she was there when everything broke and when it blossomed again… She had to be there when you and Jensen said yes to one and other.
Your father couldn’t help the tears coming down his face as he saw you walk down the stairs.
You smiled widely, holding the grip tight to your bouquet of peach roses.
“Wow,” Allen Hobbs, your father smiled, “you look beautiful, sweetheart.”
“Thanks, dad,” you smiled and looked to your left, spotting Tom starring at you. “Hey, buddy!”
He smiled widely. “You look pretty, Aunty Y/N.”
“Awe,” you truffle his dark hair, “thanks, bud. Are you going to help get the rings to Uncle Jensen?”
Tom nodded proudly, like it was his long personal duty. “Yes!”
“That’s my boy,” you caressed his cheek gently.
In that moment, your mother walked in with JJ on hands. “Oh darling,” she sighed, “beautiful.”
You kissed your daughter’s head before giving your mother a thankful smile. “Thanks, mom.” You couldn’t help but try and look to the patio where everyone was seated. “Everyone is here?”
“Yes,” Gen joined the conversation. “And he will make a hole in that altar if you don’t walk out.”
Everyone surrounding chuckled including yourself.
You took a deep breath and kissed JJ’s head once again.
Turning back to Gen, you sighed and said, “Let’s begin.”
Everyone took their respective places… Your mother walked first with JJ in hands, leaving petals of peach roses petals as a trail in the aisle. Next was Tom who walked down the aisle with a slightly bit of nervousness but didn’t gave it much thought. He looked up to his father that stood next to Jensen in the altar and smiled widely, fasting up his pace.
Genevieve was the last one to walk the aisle before you. She wore a beautiful a beautiful peach dress, one that matched perfectly the colors of the wedding… pastel peach, white and beige.
You could see everything clearly now and it made your stomach flutter with butterflies. The setting was beautiful and dreamy, it was everything you ever wanted and more than what you had imagined.
“Ready, darling?” Your father whispered.
You took a deep breath in and slowly exhaled it out. “Yes.”
‘Give Me Love’ by Ed Sheeran played in the background as you walked down the aisle. The song was handpicked by Jensen. You saw a glimpse of the guest standing up to have a better look of the bride but your eyes couldn’t focus on them.
The only thing your eyes could focus on was Jensen Ross Ackles waiting for you at the altar.
You wanted to read his mind, to know what he was thinking but his expressions spoke it for him. Jensen’s entire face lighted up the second he saw you walking down the aisle.
He smiled big and clapped his hands, he was stunned away by you.
The closer you got to him, the more blown away, the more his eyes teared up, the more he fell in love with you. Once you were in front of him, Jensen covered his mouth with his hand, taking in your beauty; capturing this moment in his mind.
The moment where your father gives his daughter to him.
“Hey,” you said out with a big smile.
Jensen was a handsome and extremely good looking but he has never looked as dreamy like in this moment right here. You wanted to jump on his arms, you wanted to kiss him before even saying ‘I do’, and you did as you felt.
He captured your spontaneous shown of affection by kissing you with the same passion.
All the guest and family quickly cheering up at what they were seeing. Everyone knew how you were, everyone in this ceremony was aware of how your relationship with Jensen was. You weren’t known as someone who’d hold her feelings away, and you weren’t going to start in the day of your wedding.
“You look so beautiful,” Jensen said after breaking the kiss.
You smiled widely, “You look dreamy.”
He chuckled softly, holding both of your hands, “Shall we start?”
You took a deep breath in, “Mhm.”
“Dearly beloved,” the priest spoke, “we have gathered in this beautiful morning to witness the union of two equally beautiful souls in holy matrimony. Jensen Ackles and Y/N Hobbs… I’ve know this lovely couple for years now and I’ve known Jensen since he was a small kid running around in Dallas.” The priest words made everyone including you and Jensen chuckle. “I’m aware you two wrote your own vows? Y/N, would you like to start first?”
You heart skipped a beat, after Gen handle you his ring, you turned around you locked eyes with Jensen.
“Jensen Ross Ackles,” you said with so much love in your voice. “I have to catch my breath to believe this is real, that I am marrying my true love, my heart’s desire, and my best friend… Meeting you have been one of the highlights of my life…”
It was in that moment when memories from meeting Jensen roamed your mind.
Being your first day in the set of Supernatural, you were extremely nervous. This was your first major role in the small tv after five years of pursuing music. Everyone around set was very nice so far but you still haven’t met the two leads of the show; Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. You’ve heard amazing things about the duo, them being great actors but even greater persons and extremely handsome as well.
“Over there is your trailer and we will go over there later,” the crew member Stacy let you know as you two walked through set. “Let’s start today with hair and makeup.”
You gave her a thankful smile and hopped on to get prepared for your character. She was a feisty and smart-ass character, the hair dressers working out the perfect way to do your hair for this role and the makeup artist giving you a dark yet flirty makeup look. Once you were fully done you grabbed your script and backpack, on your way out you stumbled around your feet.
You would have smacked yourself in the concrete floor if a set of strong arms and hand haven’t had hold you in the right and perfect moment.
“Oh my, God,” you let out startled by the moment, only having a look of plaid.
“I’m not God but – you’re welcome.”
The extremely manly voice gave you chills that traveled around your body. Holding maybe too tightly to his arms but you didn’t want to let go. They were perfectly formed.
Slowly you looked up, your eyes locking with the most beautiful shade of green.
“Hi,” he smiled, “I’m Jensen.”
“When you walked into my life, love walked in. It was a magical moment that I will treasure forever with you. I promise to love you, Jensen. Not just for this moment, not for an hour, or a day, or a year – I will always love you.”
You could see a tear coming down from Jensen’s eye, as the same time you felt one of yours going down your cheek. There was no sadness involved, you were both slightly crying out of happinesss. You smiled, holding on the urge to kiss is lips in this instant.
“From this day forward, let us keep building our home together, filled with love, laughter, joy and light.”
Jensen whipped off the tears running down his face. He turned to take the ring being handle by his best man and best friend. Turning back to look at you, he took a deep and sharp breath in.
“Standing here in this altar, all I can think about it’s our beautiful history together… Meeting you for the first time, becoming inseparable friends almost instantly and falling hopelessly in love. But it wasn’t until you opened yourself to me… When you let me in into your life, I had love you before that but it was in that moment that everything clicked in… It was that moment that I knew, this love would last a lifetime.”
“You can’t avoid what we feel, Y/N.” Jensen told you.
Frustrated you paced back and forward the trailer.. You and Jensen been talking and going out together for some weeks now but there was nothing official about it. You enjoyed his company, he was an amazing guy but you feared the side effects of dating him.
Turning around your eyes locked with his, “I’m not avoiding my feelings for you, Jensen.”
“Then why is it so hard for you to let me in?” Jensen asked.
You reached him, “Because I love you but-“
“-but what?” Jensen cut you off. He was tired, you both were exhausted after filming for fourteen hours.
You sighed, caressing his arms, you loved his arms. “But I’m scared. I’ve never loved no one like I love you… I never been with someone who could turn my life upside down. Being with you is everything I ever asked for and it scares the hell out of me.”
“You don’t have to be scare of me, of us,” Jensen said.
“I’m not scared of you…” You sighed, “I fear the media and the outside world… What can they do to us.”
Jensen hold your face with both hands. He looked you in the eye but you felt like he was staring into your soul. He was warm, he was always warm. Slowly Jensen leaned in and kissed your lips.
“They can hurt us if we don’t let them…” Jensen whispered against your lips. “I would never let the media or anyone hurt what we have… I love you. Y/N. I want to be with you, without having to keep us a secret.” He sighed sharply and with frustration. “I want to be able to scream to the world, I’m with you.”
Suddenly the fear drifted away and all you could focus it was in Jensen’s voice and eyes. He was right. You didn’t have to fear the media, you had him and if you had him, there was nothing else that could get between the two. You kissed him, with deep passion.
“I love you so much and you’re right…” You sighed, lips still touching. “I want to scream, I’m yours to the entire world.”
“I vow to love you in sickness and health. I vow to be your partner and the best father to our girl.” He looked at my mother who is holding JJ in arms. Looking back to you he continued, “and the ones to come… I vow to always make you laugh till your stomach hurt…And to be there when anything hurts or isn’t going the way it’s supposed to. I vow to be always by your side and to love you until my last day.”
The priest smiled widely as he continued the ceremony.
“Jensen Ackles, do you take Y/N Hobbs as your wife?”
Jensen looked at you, the corner of his lips lifting, “I do.”
The priest turned to you, “And you, Y/N Hobbs, do you take Jensen Ackles as your husband?”
“I do,” you smiled.
“Well,” the priest closed his bible, “by the power that the state and the church gives me… I declare you, husband and wife.”
Neither waited for the priest to recite the common phrase, ‘May you kiss your bride’. By the time he completed the sentence wife, Jensen’s lips were touching yours, and you were lost in the deeply kiss. You could listen yours and Jensen family and friends cheering in the background but you were too busy kissing your husband. It felt like in that moment a whole new world was being created for the two and you couldn’t get yourself to let go of him, of his kiss, of his love.
But every magical moment must have an end, yet you knew that this marriage would last a lifetime.
Letting go of the kiss, you turned to the guests, they all cheered and threw red and white roses at the newly married couple as they walked together down the aisle.
“We’re married,” you said out loud, locking your eyes with Jensen’s.
He smiled big, his eyes and entire face were sparkling. Jensen kissed your lips one more time, whispering another soft ‘I love you’ into your lips.
Before you and Jensen could join the reception, it was time for the official photos to be taken. Your mother and father were the first to reach and said how happy they were for you guys. After a couple pictures with them, it was time for the best man and the maid of honor to get photographed.
Jared stormed in as the grown man child he is, taking Jensen into a huge hug. While his wife Genevieve hugged you very sweetly and with emotion in her eyes. You could see how happy she was for you and Jensen, how happy your best friends were happy for their best friends finally being together again.
“Come here,’ Jared squeezed you into a big yet gentle hug than the one he gave Jensen.
Once he let go, Jared placed his arm around his own wife. “I’m so happy for you guys,” he smiled. “I knew everything could get solved… I love you, guys.” You could see a small tear forming in his eye.
You and Jensen shared a look before both hugging the couple once again. There was a big chance that if it wasn’t for Gen’s and Jared’s support, you and Jensen wouldn’t be married at this moment.
After the official pictures were taken, you and your husband walked into the area of your patio that served as the location for the reception. It was beautifully decorated, the lights hanging between the trees giving the look of a magical forest.
“Give it up for Mr. and Mrs. Ackles!” Jared said in the microphone.
There was no way you could stop smiling. The joy you felt was overwhelming.
The first person you spot right away was your mother who hold onto JJ.
“My baby,” you said with open arms.
Your mother smiled, “Here’s your baby, my baby.” Once JJ was happily in your arms, your mother placed a kiss on your forehead. “I’m so happy for you, darling.”
You smiled back at your mother, “I love you mom. Everything looks so beautiful… Thank you.”
“Ah baby,” she clicked her tongue with the corner of her lips curved up. “You’re my only girl… It’s my job to make your wedding day extra special. Even though if you only give me a couple weeks’ notice.”
Jensen joined your side in that moment, “We wanted to just get married… We couldn’t wait anymore.”
“I know.” Your mom smiled, “I’m glad everything was a scam.”
You sighed, holding onto JJ yet not said a word.
“Thanks for not giving up on us,” he said looking at your father who also had joined the conversation.
“Don’t give us reasons to,” your father said.
You chuckled, “Can we not talk about that stuff and just enjoy ourselves?”
“I like the sound of that,” your mother said, “Where’s the bar?”
“Over there mom,” you pointed.
You huffed a laugh watching your parents walk cheerful towards the mini bar.
“Is that how we’ll look in thirty years from now?” Jensen hold you by your waist.
“Probably,” you looked up into his eyes. Gosh he looked so handsome.
He looked down, the smile in his face never fading. “Good. Can’t wait,” he said and kissed your lips.
Suddenly Jason stood in the stage with his guitar. He smiled at the both, his eyes telling you he’s about to sing one of yours and Jensen’s favorite songs. Jason cleared his throat before speaking, clearly nervous of performing in this best friend’s wedding.
“Um – I want to say how happy I am for you guys,” Jason said. “You guys were made to be with each other… I know how special this song is for the both of you. I also know how crazy love can be. This is for the Ackles.”
Jensen turned to you, holding your hand, “Can I have this dance, Mrs. Ackles?”
You smiled back, nodding and walked with him to the middle of the dance floor. All yours and Jensen’s love ones gathered around as you and Jensen danced to Jason’s beautiful voice and talent. This version was slower, and with a lot more of emotion to it.
You laid your head over his chest, listening to his heart beat as it was part of the song.
“You’ve got a fine sense of humor when I’m feelin’ down… And I’ll run to you when the sun goes down. You take away my trouble, you take away my grief. You take away my headache and I’ll go right to sleep.” Jensen sang softly in your ear.
The way he sang to you made you forget there was people around. Jensen had the ability to make you feel alive, loved and mostly like the only girl in the world.
In that moment, you didn’t feel the camera flashes on your skin, all you could feel was Jensen’s finger intertwine with yours as he continued to sing only to you.
“Yes, I need you, in the day time…” Jensen made you turn around. The tail of your dress flowing around with the air. “And yes, I need you in the night…” The way he whispered that line made your body shiver. “Yes, I want to throw my arms around you,” Jensen did as the song said, both laughing at the silliness of his acts. “Kiss you harder and I’ll kiss you all the time.”
You kissed Jensen, starting softly and shifting into more deeply yet lovely.
“You give me love love love, crazy love…” The two of you sang to each other as both lips were only inches away from the other.
After the song ended it was followed by a list of yours and Jensen’s favorites songs. It was a mix of greatest hits of Rock N Roll and songs that were ‘in’. You danced with everyone, your family, friends. Genevieve, Brianna, Kim and Ruth gathered around you to dance together while Jensen was dancing with his boys.
The lightly sound of silver touching glass made you turn around and look towards the small stage. Standing behind the microphone was Jared. He had the biggest smile in his face, and his tie slightly loosed from all the dancing.
Jared cleared his throat, like he was gathering the words inside his mind before speaking them out loud.
“I would be more nervous if I didn’t know everyone in this place,” Jared let out a chuckle. “I’m still very nervous though,” he looked at you and Jensen. “Today is a very special day… my two best friends got married… Just God and maybe some more know what this two have been through. Making Y/N and Jensen two of the not only kindest people I know… but the bravest and strongest ones. I remember the first day they both met like it was yesterday.” Jared looked directly into your eyes, “I have never told you this but… that man sitting next to you, hasn’t stopped talking about you since the day you fell into his arms. Y/N this, Y/N that, ‘she’s so beautiful dude’!” He mimicked the way Jensen talked, even his deeper voice.
You huffed a laugh, looking at Jensen, you placed a kiss in his blushing cheeks.
“I also still remember all the pranks Y/N have pulled on me and how they made Jensen fell more in love with her. ‘She’s the coolest chick’ he stills says, and he’s right. Like Jason said… Y/N and Jensen were made for each other. You two have become a sister and a brother to me,” Jared said, his voice slowly breaking. “You’ve become an aunt and an uncle for my kids… You’ve become family to my family.” He rose his glass, “There is nothing I wouldn’t do for you guys. To the Ackles, to their future, to their family… I love you, guys.” Jared patted his chest.
Everyone rose their glasses and cheered to Jared’s best man speech. Once again you shared a kiss with your husband, just before standing up and hugging Jared tightly.
“This might be the most beautiful thing you have ever said to us,” you told him.
Jared chuckled, “I meant it.”
You watched Jared and Jensen share a brotherly hug.
After Jared speech, your mother, father, a couple of friends, family and even Misha stood in that stage and spoke lovely words. Suddenly Jensen stood from the seat, fixed his jacket and walked to the stage. Like his best friend he cleared his throat before smiling at you or saying a word.
“I want to say thank you to all of you for coming here in such a short notice… I know you all have tight schedules, and we appreciate your presence in this very special day.” Jensen began saying, his eyes meeting yours. “Y/N… Y/N Ackles,” his smiled turned bigger, “I love you so damn much… sometimes it even hurts. It’s true what everyone says, you were the only thing I could talk or think when I met you… You still are, only now there’s a beautiful girl sharing space in my mind.” Jensen looked at his daughter that rested peacefully in your arms. “I’ve always known I wanted to be a father, thank you for letting me be one for our daughter. This speech might sound as a big gratitude but it’s the truth, I thank God for you, I thank you for the chances you’ve given me… I love you and like I said on my vows… I will love you until my last day, Y/N.”
Through the course of your wedding single tears have escaped but Jensen’s speech was the key to the fireworks. Your heart was pounding with joy and love for the man looking back at you.
Without thinking it twice, you hold onto your daughter and made your way to his side.
Jensen’s lips felt like home, with him is where you belong.
Your husband kissed JJ on the head before kissing you also in the forehead.
“I love you,” you told him with the biggest smile.
Jensen returned the smile, his eyes screaming how much he loved you back.
“Now… Hold our beautiful daughter because I have a surprise for you.”
Jensen took JJ with slightly confusion in his eyes.
You smiled playfully, “You can sit over there, babe.” And so, he did as you told. “Jason?” You watched him stand up from his seat and joined your side on the stage. When he holds to his guitar it was obvious for everyone, you were going to sing.
“This is a song I’ve been working for a long time with my buddy here,” you looked at Jason and winked. “It’s been so long since I’ve written a song… I wrote this one from the heart, with all my love, for us.” Your eyes were only on Jensen.
“When your legs don’t work as they used to before… And you can’t sweep me off my feet.
Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love? Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks?
And, baby, I will be loving you ‘til we’re seventy
And I’m thinking ‘bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways
Maybe just the touch of a hand
Well, me- I fall in love with you every single day
And I just wanna tell you I am..”
“So, honey, now,” you hold the mic on your hand as you walked downs the stage and towards Jensen. Your hips moved slowly to the song. “Take me into your loving arms. Kiss me under the lights of a thousand stars.” Jensen couldn’t help but kiss you instantly. You chuckled breaking the kiss and walking back to the stage.
“I’m thinking out loud…
Maybe we found love right now where we are…
When your hair all but gone and my memory fades.
And the crowds don’t remember our name
When your hands don’t play the strings the same way… Mmm..
I know I’d still love you the same…
So, baby, now
Take me into your loving arms
Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars
Oh, darling, place your head on my beating heart
I’m thinking out loud…”
You sighed deeply after ending the song. Everyone including Jensen stood up to applaud you.
“Beautiful!” Jensen shouted with excitement. “That’s my wife!”
You chuckled at his excitement, walking down the stage and meeting his lips once again. You weren’t sure if it was the wedding, the company, Jensen or his love, but you felt like you were on cloud nine and you didn’t want to get down. You wanted this moment to last forever… but deep down you knew everything had an end, and this magical night would have one too.
The night was shortly coming to an end and with it, the last part of a reception came.
“Alright single ladies,” you hold the microphone with one hand and your bouquet with the other. “You guys know what time it is…”
You laughed seeing Emily, Jensen’s and Jared’s sister, along with a couple more friend’s jog towards the dance floor. They all gathered a couple steps from you, waiting with smiles in their faces. Giving Jensen the microphone, you turned around and looked to the single ladies over your shoulder.
“Ready?” You said and turned, the round of cheers telling you they were more than ready. “One,” you began the count and slowly motion the bouquet backwards. “Two… Three!” You threw the bouquet as higher as you could, and turned quickly to see who caught it. “Emily!” You shouted with excitement as she holds onto the bouquet.
“What the fuck?” She laughs. “It literally dropped on my hands!”
You laughed, “Guess that’s destiny.”
“I think it’s time for us to leave,” Jensen spoke through the mic. “Isn’t that right honey?”
“Yeah!” You said with a wide smile. “Our honeymoon!!”
Everyone surrounding you two cheered and applauded.
You took the last pictures with everyone and said goodbye. The last one was your parents, whom you left to take care of JJ while you and Jensen were away for one week.
“Call us if anything happens mom!” You shouted as you walked away.
Your mother waved you good bye, “Go and enjoy your honeymoon!” She shouted back.
“Oh we are totally going to enjoy it,” you said turning to Jensen and kissing him.

Hearing his phone ringing, Jared glanced away from his laptop and dug under the take out containers that littered his desk to find it. Hitting the ‘accept’ button, he tucked it between his ear and shoulder. “Hello?”
“Hey, Jare. It's me.”
“Did you get ‘em?”
“Yeah, I just got them. But you know that.”
Jared smiled. His friend was right, he got the notification 20 minutes ago that said they were signed for and delivered. “Okay, did you like them?”
“They’re perfect.”
“So when I come visit for this grand opening..”
“Yeah, you got a place. I'll send you the first case as soon as it's ready to go.”
“Awesome.” Jared smiled. “I'm glad you liked them.” he spoke as he deleted what he had typed out and tried again, brow furrowing because it still wasn't right.
“Hey, you working on anything important?”
“Not really, why? What else do you need?” he deleted it all again and sat back, glaring at the image with no words. He took the phone in his hand and switched ears.
“I was kind of an asshole to this woman..”
“Oh?”Jared’s interest was peaked. “Good looking?” he smirked.
“Shut up.” Jared laughed, knowing his friend was likely blushing. “Anyways, this place is small, business is slow for her.. she wants to change some stuff up.. I was hoping I could rope you into a bit of work, on me. As an apology to her.”
“What's the place and what are we talking?” Jared sat forward again typing out what Jensen was saying and looking to see if there was a website, or pictures. “Got a website here..”
“Yeah, I think I found it too..”
“Looks a bit outdated..” Jared typed a bit more. “Oh yeah, hasn't really been updated in a few years.”
“I figure, new website and new pamphlets? She does this pamphlet exchange thing with other businesses, so I think she'd appreciate some new ones. And if she really does decide to renovate-”
“Well, the info is on the website, so I can contact her and talk to her about what she'd like. Just let her know first so this isn't weird, okay?”
“Thanks Jare. I owe you one for this.”
“You're paying me for this.” Jared laughed.
It was two days before he heard from Jensen again, and another three before he called you. But now he sat with his long legs up on his desk, a plate with half eaten breakfast that he picked at when he could, but mostly he was jotting down notes onto a pad of paper he held on his lap.
“So what kind of renovations did you say you were doing right now?”
“I'm putting in a small kitchen and dining area, so we can offer light breakfasts to the guests.”
“Is that going to be an extra cost, or will room price include that?”
“Uh…” there was silence on the line as you thought about that. “I didn’t even think of that…”
Jared chuckled. “It’s fine. There's no rush. It really depends on what you think is best and the costs to you. You can up the price of a room a little and have it included breakfast ‘free of charge’ so to speak, whenever they want it. Or simply charge competitive prices for whatever is going to be on your menu.” He let you think for a moment. “Speaking of, have you considered what would be on the menu?”
“Uhm.. breakfast?” you laughed. “Shit. I’m sorry.”
Jared chuckled. “Don't worry, really. I've worked with less. All Jensen told me was ‘I'm making and selling beer, just make it nice.’”
“Is there anything I can do? Other then figure out what I’ll be doing.” he could hear the embarrassment in your voice.
“You got a good camera? If not, borrow Jensen’s. Send me plenty of pictures of what you want to showcase. I need a few of outside, and the rooms, obviously. One of you, so people get a feel for who they’re dealing with, makes it a bit more personal. And when the renovation is done, that area as well. The small details we can figure out later. Give you time to think it all over.”
“That sounds perfect, thank you.”
“I'll talk to you later.” Jared chuckled and shook his head as he hung up, writing down one more note before he reached over for a piece of toast and dipped it into egg yolk.
Packing up the two packages, he slapped a label on one before grabbing both and heading to his car. He drove the five minutes it took to get him to the post office. “Hey Dave.” He smiled as he headed for the counter.
“What do you have for me today, Jared.”
“Just this one.” He put it down on the counter.
“Overnight?”
“Hmm.” He thought for a second. “Give it a day.”
“Express it is.” Dave nodded. “Signature and notifications as always?”
“You know it.”
After weighing the package, he printed out the shipping label, and Jared paid. “Here you go.” He handed over the receipt. “What are you up to this weekend?”
Jared smiled. “Friends opening a brewery and bar. Got a grand opening to go to. Should be good. I think he met someone, and I get to finally meet her.”
“Drink a beer for me?”
“I’ll do you one better, I’ll bring you some back. I should be home for game night. Your place or mine?”
“Mine. Later, man.”
“See ya.”
Jared looked around the room. He didn’t know anyone here, and he was sure Jensen didn’t either. It looked like it was mostly townies, or people who saw his picture on the website and scrambled to meet a ‘celebrity’.
He lifted the bottle he held to his mouth when he caught someone looking surprised by the pamphlets by the bar. His eyes swept over her from behind. She looked quiet and shy, he tried to judge if it was the same person he had spoken to on the phone. He didn’t need to think on it for long, as she turned and he recognized her, so he started to walk over.
“Did I do good?”
You turned and looked at him, confused. “Sorry?”
“The pamphlets. For your motel. Did you like them?”
“Oh, yeah.” You smiled. “That was you?”
He nodded. “Jared. Padalecki. Have you said hi to him yet?”
“No, I just got here. I didn’t see him..” He watched you glance around at the crowd of people.
“He was pretty excited when you said you were coming.” Jared smiled when you looked back at him shocked.
“Y\N! You made it.” Jared smiled as Jensen all but pushed his way through the crowd to get to you, arms opening for a hug. “Wow.” You held you at arm’s length and looked you over. “You look… You look good..”
Jared leaned closer for a moment, just long enough to whisper “Told you.” Before he winked and wandered off. Jared stood off to the side, watching quietly as both you and Jensen talked awkwardly together. Both blushing and getting flustered from time to time. “Jesus Christ.” Jared laughed to himself. “These two are hopeless.” He shook his head with a grin.
“Hi.”
Jared turned towards the voice, and smiled at the woman who had made her way over to him. “Hey.” He licked his bottom lip as she blushed under his gaze.
“You’re not from around here, are you?”
“Nope. Just visiting.” She gave him a nod, and took a drink from the glass she held. “Wanna head outside? Get some fresh air?” He asked boldly, and she nodded. Jared took one more glance over at you and Jensen as he put an arm around the girls shoulder and started to lead her out. “So, what’s your name?”

Jensen sat at his desk staring out the window and watching the snow fall. This time of year, he always locked himself away in the cabin in the woods using the excuse of ‘writing in solitude’. Truth was, he just didn't particularly feel like dealing with the stress of Christmas.
So he sat alone, watching the snow, ignoring his laptop while a fire roared in the room.
Mostly, he didn't mind being so alone. He didn't have to look good for anyone. He could get lost in thought for hours and not have someone nagging at him to take better care of himself. But mostly, he could focus on his work. He was in the middle of a book and getting lost in thought.
But tomorrow was Christmas. A small part of him was lonely. And that's what his thoughts kept returning to. A longing for a conversation with someone other than himself. It had been weeks.
“Jensen?” The door opened, a burst of cold air and snow came in as a hooded face looked into the room. “Jensen!”
He snapped out of it as you stumbled in and tried to kick the door shut behind you. “What are you doing here?” He asked as he got up and shut the door.
You handed him the bags you had been carrying and shook off snow from yourself with a “brrr.” He watched you as you began to take off your outerwear and hang it on the hooks near the door. “I was asked to make sure you're making progress.”
“You could have-”
“Called? Emailed? I did, Jensen. You haven't answered for days.” You took the bags from him and headed for the kitchen, and he quietly followed. “I also brought you supplies, because I know you. You'll forget to head into town and live on canned beans for a week.” You shot him a look as you started unpacking.
“I can take care of myself.” he mumbled.
You stopped and turned to him, hands on your hips. “You haven't showered in a couple days.” He opened his mouth to protest but you cut him off. “I can smell you, Jensen.” he rolled his eyes. “Your clothes look like you haven't changed in a week. You haven't shaved since you got here, which I kinda like, not gonna lie.” You gave him a smile. “And your fridge is empty.” you pointed at it behind you with your thumb.
“What are you now, my mother?” He grumbled and moved to grab a beer, one of the few things left in his fridge.
“No, I'm your editor, and friend. Hate me all you want for disturbing your solitude, Jen, but I refuse to let you starve to death up here.” Jensen let out a grunt and left the room with his beer. You watched as he sat himself back at his desk, only this time he focused on his laptop. You signed, and went back to putting things away.
“Leaving yet?” he asked, when you were done. He didn't even turn when he asked, he just stared at his screen.
You walked in and sighed. He wasn't writing, he was googling random things likely just to make it look like he was making progress when he wasn't. “Am I that dreadful as company?”
“Yes.”
You shook your head and looked down at your feet. “Fine.” you mumbled quietly. Without another word, you pulled on your boots and grabbed your jacket. Wrapping your scarf around your neck, you pulled open the door. “Asshole.” You muttered before stepping out and slamming it.
Jensen watched you though the window as you stormed off to your car. You had to clear it off again, but you did so as quick as you could. He sighed when he watched you turn your car around and start to leave. Tearing his eyes away from the window, he looked back down at his laptop. “Fuck.” He groaned.
Then he heard it. He wasn’t sure what it was, but he looked up and out the window again. He couldn’t see anything but the snow. Squinting, as if that would help, he looked around. Getting up, he put on boots and a coat and stepped outside.
“Hello?” He called out, moving down off the porch and taking a few steps into the snow. The snow was pounding down. The blizzard that was in the forecast for tomorrow hit early. He moved a few more feet then stopped. He was about to turn back when he thought he saw something down the road.
He felt his stomach drop as he started moving forward again. The more he could make out, the faster he moved until he was running as quick as he could through the snow, stumbling a few times as he ran. “Y/N!?”
He slid when he stopped at the drivers side of your car. You had crashed into a tree, your head against the steering wheel, eyes closed and a touch of blood running down the side. Yanking the door opened, he moved you as carefully as he could. He knew he couldn’t just leave you there, not with how heavy the snow was falling. Your car would be buried before help could even get there. IF it could even get there.
“I got you.” He mumbled as he carried you back through the snow to the cabin. “You’ll be okay, I got you.”
When you came to, you were warm in a bed. But it wasn’t your bed. With a groan, you started to get up. You sat on the edge of the bed for a few minutes, head in your hands. Then you got up and slowly made your way out of the room. Stepping out, you saw him. He was sitting at his desk typing away. “J-Jensen?”
His head spun around, and he was quick to get up. “You shouldn’t be out of bed.” He rushed to your side, arm going around your waist as he guided you to the couch.
You furrowed your brow. “W-what happened?”
He sat you down. “You crashed into a tree yesterday.”
“Yesterday?”
He nodded. “Yeah, I called for help, but the storm is so bad no one can get here. The nurse on the phone said it sounded like you would be fine. You didn’t hit your head too bad. You’ve been in and out of sleep. I’ve been keeping my eye on you.”
“I’m sorry.”
“For?”
You shrugged. “Ruining your solitude. As soon as I’m okay to drive-”
“Your car crashed.” He told you again. “It’s not going anywhere and neither are you.” You started to tear up. “What, what’s wrong? Is it hurting somewhere?” He checked you over.
“You don’t want me here, Jensen. I remember that much. And now I’m stuck here.. and it's Christmas.. I'm stuck spending Christmas with someone who doesn't want me around.”
“I mean, I might be a little grumpy from sleep deprivation…” You sniffled, and huffed out a small sob. “But that's only because I’m afraid to sleep.”
“Nightmares? What have you been writing up here?”
He gave you a soft chuckle. “Not nightmares. I'm afraid they’re wrong. I'm afraid you really hurt yourself, worse than I think, and if I sleep…” his voice trailed off.
“You're worried about me? You don't even like me..”
“I don't like the holidays.” he corrected. “I keep you around as my editor, don’t I?” You gave him a shrug. “Relax here, okay? I'm going to cook you something to eat.”
He wiped a tear off your cheek before getting up and you watched him walk away and begin moving through the kitchen.
Glancing around, you spotted his laptop. Curious about what he had been writing with such emotion when you came in, you got up and grabbed it before bringing it back to the couch.
Jensen was a fantasy writer. An amazing one. He created vast worlds that you wanted to dive into, characters that you loved or hated. It was like he was looking through the looking glass and writing out what he saw there, the flaws, the perfections, it was always written in perfect detail.
But this.. this was no fantasy you were reading.
You furrowed your brow as you skimmed the words, scrolling through pages. The names were different, but there was no mistaking it. He was writing romance? But not just any romance.. your romance.
He walked in balancing plates in his hands. “I made a lot, but whatever you don't eat, I will-” He froze when he looked up and saw you with his laptop. “What are you doing?” he asked cautiously.
“Reading..” you breathed out, not looking up. “My accident.. you taking care of me.. you wrote it all down.”
Jensen shifted nervously on his feet before stepping forward and putting the plates on the coffee table. Once his hands were free he reached for the laptop but you moved it away. “Don't-”
“But it doesn't end there… you wrote out this whole life..” You started going back through it, back to page one. “Jensen.. how long have you been writing this? There’s.. there's so much here..” You looked up at him and saw, what was that, fear, In his eyes. “Do you really see me like this?”
He licked his lips. “Can we not do this right now?” He grabbed his laptop and shut it before placing it back on his desk, keeping his back to you.
“Jensen..” You got up and went to stand behind him. When he didn’t turn, you placed your hand to his back. “Talk to me. Please?”
“I hate Christmas.” He grumbled. “Every event, you're with stupid Joe.” You bit your bottom lip to keep from laughing at how childish he sounded. “I hate that guy. I deal with it, but i can't at Christmas. I can't stand to see you two happy, kissing under a mistletoe and probably wear dumb matching sweaters…” You burst out laughing at that. “It's not fucking funny!” he growled
“Why would i be wearing matching sweaters and kissing him? I mean he'd love that.. but why is that what's happening in your head?”
“Because that's what I'd do if I had you..” he mumbled.
“Then for once in your life, stop hiding away and just ask me.” He turned his head to look at you over his shoulder, and you let you hand move up so your hand rested there and you could poke his cheek. “I'm not with Joe, Jensen. I just hate going to events alone, and you never ask me.”
“Really?”
You nodded. Getting on your toes, you kissed his cheek. “Merry Christmas, Jensen, you daft fool. I've been in love with you too.”

Part 16 of ‘My son, Bringer of Storms’.
You were sitting on a plane, River was excitedly looking out the window. “Are we in Texas yet?”
“No, River. Probably not for a few more hours. We’ve only been in the air about an hour, and it’s a 4 ½ hour flight.”
“Aww.” He pouted. “Do we have to stop somewhere?”
“Nop. You got spoiled with a non-stop flight.”
“Uncle Jensen is my favorite uncle.” River grinned.
“You’ve never had any other uncle.” You pointed out. “Maybe one day you’ll meet your fathers siblings. You actually have an uncle and an aunt.”
“Yeah!? Will they be at this Barbecue too?” You shrugged and he looked back out the window.
You let out a sigh, wondering how you’d ended up on a flight to fucking Texas. But you knew how. Jensen had fucked you over. And by fucked you over, he’d played it smart. Made it so you couldn’t say no. “Asshole” You mumbled, looking down at your phone.
“What?” River looked back at you.
“Nothing, baby.” You smiled. “Just over three hours until we land.” He grinned and looked back out the window. You ran your hand over your bump with another sigh. This was going to be a disaster.
You were just about 7 months pregnant, when Jensen knocked at your door. “Hey Sweetheart.” He grinned. “So I’m having a big fourth of July barbecue, and you’re invited.”
“Oh?”
He nodded. “Family thing.”
“Your family’s flying up?”
He laughed. “No. You’re coming to Texas.”
“No.” You said it flat out. Heading back inside, he followed.
“Oh yes.”
“No, Jensen. I don’t belong there. Why would you even ask me?”
“You’re family.”
You chuckled. “I’m really not. I hate you.”
“Since when?” He laughed.
“Since now, if you ask me again.”
“I’m not asking. I’m telling.” He looked stern, as stern as he could anyways. “Jared is like a brother to me-”
“No.”
“Shut up let me finish.” He shot you a dirty look. “He’s my brother. River, he calls me uncle Jensen like Tom and Shep do. He’s family. So you’re family. Plus we’ve been friends for how many years?”
“I left for 9 of them, Jensen. It doesn’t count.”
“Suck it up Princess. You can’t tell me no.”
“I can, and I did.” He smirked. “What did you do?”
“I already bought your tickets.”
“Return them.” You growled at him.
He shook his head. “Non-refundable.”
“Then it fucking sucks to be you, you wasted your money.” He shook his head again with a smile. “We’re not-”
“Mom!” You were cut off by River running up the hall and into the house. “Look what uncle Jensen got us!! We’re going to Texas to meet my brothers! Just like I wanted!!” He waved the plane tickets.
You shot Jensen a death glare as he grinned, knowing he won. “I fucking hate you.”
“Love you too, Princess.” He chuckled with a wave as he headed out. “Oh, and don’t worry about a place to stay. You’re staying with us.”
“Jen-”
“I insist. Dani’s excited to meet you.” He smiled before heading off.
So here you were, sitting in Jensen’s back yard, watching River run around with JJ and the other kids. Misha and his family were here, and a few other people. Jared, Gen and their kids hadn’t gotten there yet. You were dreading that. You really didn’t want to be here.
“Stop being such a loner.” You looked up, and Jensen was smiling down at you.
“I told you, Jensen, I shouldn’t be here. It’s awkward.” You sighed. “And it’s only going to get worse.”
“Why don’t you go sit with the wives?” He pointed over to where Daneel and a few others were sitting and chatting while they drank wine.
“I’m not a wife. Besides, they’re her friends, Jensen. Don’t you think I’ve pissed her off, and fucked up his marriage enough for one lifetime?”
“That doesn’t sound like you.” He teased, but when you shot him a glare, he caved. “Fine. I’ll leave you alone.” He held up his hands and backed away. “Hey Vicki?” She turned. “Keep an eye on her for me?”
She smiled and nodded. “Of course.” Getting up, she made her way over to you.
When Gen walked in the front door with food in her hands, and a husband and kids in tow, she smiled and started to head for the kitchen. “Sounds like they’re all out back. I’ll put this down, you go let them know we’re here.”
“I’ll take that. Grab yourself some wine. You know she’ll have a few bottles open.” Jared smiled and kissed her cheek before grabbing the dish, and heading for the kitchen. Once Gen had her wine, and the dish was set up with the others he put an arm around her and motioned to the kids. “Alright, go find Uncle Jensen and tell him we’re here.” Both boys took off running and they chuckled.
Stepping outside, Jared looked around, nodding hello to people, then froze. “River!?”
River stopped playing and looked over. “Dad!! You’re finally here!” He ran over and threw himself at Jared for a hug.
“What are you doing here?” He looked up and looked around again, this time spotting you sitting in the grass talking to Vicki, a hand absentmindedly rubbing your growing stomach.
“Uncle Jensen remembered I wanted to visit Texas and meet my brothers, so he invited us.” He smiled. “Moms over there.” He pointed you out. He turned and looked at Gen. “Good afternoon Genevieve. It is a lovely day today is it not?”
Jared was focus on you for the moment, and feeling eyes on you, you looked over and gave him a small smile, one he returned.
“It is.” Gen answered. “I’m sorry for how I reacted last time I met you, River. Can we try again?” He grinned and nodded. “Hi, River, I’m Genevieve. And these here are your brothers. Tom and Shep.”
“River!” Tom hugged him. “I didn’t know you were coming!”
“Awesome right!?” Tom nodded. “Come! You can meet my mom! Did you know you’re going to have another brother or sister?”
“No way!” Tom’s mouth fell open.
“Yeah! My mom’s pregnant. Come on!”
Gen froze. “Did he just…”
“I told you we should have told them.” Jared shook his head.
“We don’t even know what she’s having.” She shot Jared a look. “Did you know she’d be here?”
“Not a fucking clue.” He watched as River introduced you to Tom and Shep, and then JJ ran over to drag all three kids away and back to the game she had been playing with River.
“Hi guys.” Dani smiled.
“You could have warned me.” She glared at her friend.
“Sorry.. Jensen asked me not to..” She winced. “She’s pretty nice, what little I talked to her. She’s a bit awkward around me though. I think it’s because of how close we are..” She shrugged. “Vicki really likes her. They’ve been over there talking together for the last hour.” When she looked back at Gen, she was downing the entire glass of wine. “Gen-”
“I’m going to need more.” Gen turned and headed inside.
Jared had gone over to say hi, ask about you and the baby. Gen was stuck to him like glue, so he introduced you, Vicki helping you stand so you could see her eye to eye. The whole time, any time Jared spoke to you, Gen was right there. You eventually stopped trying to have conversations with him, something he picked up on quickly when you all but blew off something he said to you.
River was having fun though, that’s all that mattered.
“So, you never mentioned what you’re having!” Dani pointed out as everyone was eating. “Maybe we should have a little baby shower for you or something…”
“I’m letting it be a surprise.” You smiled at her. “I have names picked out for both, and I got all kinds of newborn stuff in various colors. Anything I don’t use I plan to donate to the hospital, so I’m not worried about it.” You smiled.
“That sounds like such a fun way to do it!” Vicki smiled. “Can we hear the names?” She wiggled her eyebrows, excited. Gen rolled her eyes and turned her attention to something else.
You shook your head. “I want to see if they fit first. River wasn’t officially named until he was born. I mean, I wasn’t expecting him to be Stormborn.” You chuckled. “Originally, he was going to get Jared’s middle name.. But River Stormborn just rolled off the tongue when I held him.”
“You were going to name him after me?” You nodded, and he smiled. It warmed his heart that even if he hadn’t of known about River, he’d have had a son named for him. Vicki looked over at Jared, eyebrows up and waiting expectantly. “Don’t look at me, I have no idea what names she has picked out for this one.” He chuckled.
Gen turned at that, surprised. “Are you serious? It’s your kid too.. First, you’re not allowed to know what it is, now you can’t even name-”
“Gen..” He warned before she could continue. “I agreed to this, and if I don’t like it, I’ll tell her.”
Gen rolled her eyes but went back to picking at her food. There was so much she wanted to say, but she decided not to. This wasn’t the place to start an argument.
You could see she’d found another reason to hate you. “I asked him, Gen.”
She looked up. “What?”
“Jared. I asked if he wanted to know. He’s been at every appointment, they ask him every time if he wants to know. I told him he could find out, to just not tell anyone so it could be a surprise for me. He chose to let it be a surprise for everyone. As for the names..” You sighed. “I talked names with Jared for a bit. Trying to figure out what he’d like, but he kept turning it back on me. River’s name is.. unconventional, sure. But it’s a good name. Unique, fun. River loves it, so does everyone else it seems. Jared told me to do what I did with him again. I thought long and hard about names. I tried to run some past Jared.” You smiled at him. “But we’ll wait and see what rolls out when I hold him or her. I’m not shutting him out, I not refusing to let him take part.” You looked down at your barely touched plate of food. “Maybe you should ask before you get angry.”
You were relaxing in the grass and watching the kids play. Gen shot you a look as she walked past heading over to Jared. “You could stop with the dirty looks. You’re not hiding them as well as you think.” You told her, without taking your eyes off River.
“I’m not trying to.” She grumbled at you. “Not right now anyways.”
You rolled your eyes, and shifted to lean back, a hand going behind you, the other rubbing your stomach with your legs stretched out. “Whatever. Hate me all you want, just be nice to my kid, okay?” You looked up at her. “He hasn’t done anything but be nice to you.”
“He told the boys.” She ground out. “We didn’t have that talk with them yet, and now they’re asking questions.”
“And who’s fault is that?” You raised an eyebrow. “You had 6 months, Gen. I’m 7 months pregnant, what are you waiting for? The kid to be born? And they haven’t asked anything yet.” You shook your head before looking back to the kids. “They’ve been glued to River. They barely said a word to you since you got here. Just sit down with them and be honest when you get home.”
“Like you were honest with River about his dad?” She shot.
You glared up at her. “I never lied to River about his father. He knew Jared wanted him. He knew it was me who walked away. The only thing he didn’t know, was a name.” You scoffed and looked away from her. “I told Jensen this was a bad idea.”
“Then why are you here?” She had her arms crossed.
“Because Jared fucked up.”
“Oh blame Jared, Typica-”
“He promised River that he’d bring him here to Texas to meet his brothers. And then River met you, and found out Jared had never even mentioned him to you, or them. It broke his fucking heart. All he’s wanted since then, was to be a family with his brothers. And for you to like him enough to let him visit sometimes. He never got that. Jared never even mentioned it again. Jensen bought the tickets, I didn’t even find out until he’d already handed them to River and told him. Jensen’s way of making sure I didn’t say no. I don’t want to be here, Gen. I don’t fucking belong here. This is your family, not mine. But like it or not, it’s his too.” You motioned to River. “You’re going to have to get use to seeing us around.”

Title: Broken
MASTERLIST
Day 01
Tonight wouldn’t be the last night you would fell asleep covered in your own tears. The first couple hours were a torment. Jensen’s words constantly echoing inside your mind, no matter how much you squeezed your eyes shut, they were still there like ghosts. You grunted staring at the ceiling, everything in this room reminded you of him. The pictures in the walls, his smell imprinted on the sheets, it was unbearable.
The morning after Genevieve found you sleeping in JJ’s nursery floor.
“Y/N?” Gen softly woke you up.
Your eyelids have never felt so heavy. They were swollen and your eyes red from the intense and non stop crying. Your body felt weak and heavy at the same time. Genevieve helped to get you off the floor. A small and weak smile formed in your lips when you saw JJ’s sleeping peacefully in her crib. You wanted to be that peaceful and oblivious.
“She’s going to wake up soon…” You whispered.
“I’ll take care of JJ,” Gen said, still holding you. “Let’s get you in the room.”
You trusted Genevieve blindly to take care of you and your daughter. She led the way towards your bedroom. It was in the entrance that you stopped, staring at the inside with disgust. You weren’t ready to face your bedroom yet.
“I can’t,” your voice broke not being able to look into the room anymore.
Gen sighed deeply, she hold both of your arms, hugging you. It was so heartbreaking for her to see you in this state; so broken and so hopeless. She nodded and looked to the following room.
“Let’s get you to the guest room,” she said.
Genevieve made sure you were as comfortable as you could be. She covered you up with blankets, always asking if you needed anything every ten minutes. You kept constantly repeating that you were okay, that you only wanted to sleep.
Genevieve knew you weren’t okay. How could you after what Jensen did?
“Hey,” Gen strolled into the room with JJ in hands.
Your daughter was wearing a pink onesie with white bows. She hold onto Genevieve until her eyes found her mother. You forced a weak smile, “Hi, babygirl.”
“Want to nurse her?” Your best friend asked hoping for a yes.
JJ is used to have breast and normal milk but you always opted for nursing her. You nodded softly and hold her in your arms. JJ got closer to you, her hand touching your heart, that small gesture made a teardrop escape loose. Gen stayed with you until JJ was full and asleep, taking her to the nursery and leaving you to continue sleeping.
Day 02
The next day you woke up to a breakfast in bed. The tray had oatmeal and an even portion of eggs and strawberries. Your favorite breakfast but you didn’t had appetite at all. Genevieve convinced you to eat saying that you needed to be strong for your daughter. You were so weak that Gen ended up feeding you.
“I can’t believe he did that to me,” you said quietly.
Gen’s entire face expression portrayed sadness. She hated to see you like this, she hated to see Jensen like this. He was staying in her house. They both were equally broken and miserable. While Gen was feeding you, Jared was back at the house feeding Jensen.
“I’m sorry, sweetheart.” Gen said.
You shrugged, starting to feel hopeless and lost.
“I-,” you sighed, holding back the tears. “What am I going to do?”
“You’ll figure it out... “ She said, caressing your arm, “You’re strong, Y/N.”
You shook your head, the tears falling down your cheeks.
“I thought I was but-,” you sobbed, “I’m not.”
In that moment you lean over and cried over Genevieve’s shoulder. She hold you down, comforting you the best way she could, being there for you.
Day 03.
Sadness acted as a tranquilizer drug, numbing your body and soul. You kept staring with a blank look at the wall in your bathroom. Sitting inside the full bathtub in silence. You hugged your legs onto your chest tightly as you weren’t safe in here. Only listening to the soft water movements.
Suddenly you let your entire body fell backwards and going under water.
You hold your breath until your lungs started to beg for air but you didn’t respond. You stayed numb under water. It wasn’t until flashes of your daughter’s smile began to blur inside your mind. You could listen to her giggles in the distance. It was there when you decided to break free, gasping for fresh air.
You didn’t left the tub quickly, you stayed a couple of more minutes, rubbing your eyes, hesitant to the idea of walking out of those four walls. Standing up you let the bathtub drain the water and hoped for the sadness away. You turned on the shower and stayed under the running water for a while. It was the first soothing feeling you’ve had in three days.
“I need to be strong for her,” you whispered to yourself.
After putting on a fresh set of jeans and white t-shirt, you decided it was time to get out of the room. Jared and Genevieve instantly looked at you and smiled as you walked down the stairs. You forced yourself to return the smile.
It was fake smile, you didn't felt happy but at least you were trying.
“Hey,” Jared greeted while holding JJ, his eyes were deeply concerned.
You faked another smile. “Hi,” you looked down at JJ. “Can I?”
“Of course,” Jared quickly said and handled her over gently.
“Are you hungry?” Gen quickly asked.
She saw the way your under eyes were beginning to look hollow. Genevieve was worried that you weren’t eating enough. She was worried that you would develop depression.
Your eyes never let go of JJ. “I could eat a soup.”
“Coming right up,” Gen gave you a soft smile and walked into the kitchen.
Walking around the sofa, you sat with JJ and Jared by your side.
You looked at him, “She ate?”
“Just now,” Jared said. “Y/N-”
“Don’t,” you spoke without looking into his eyes.
“But-,” Jared said.
“I don’t want to talk about him, Jared.” Your focus still on JJ.
“You need to,” he softly said. “He’s a wreck-,”
“He’s wreck?” You glared at Jared. “What the hell am I?” You felt the lump in your throat growing in that instant. “I said, I don’t want to talk about him. Please.”
“She’s right, Jared,” Gen joined, her voice soothing. “She needs time to heal.”
It wasn’t Jared’s intention to make you uncomfortable, it was in his nature to try to amend things. The only problem is that this wasn’t his problem to fix.
Day 04
Jules woke you up this day by constantly licking your hand.
“Okay, okay,” you mumbled, forcing yourself getting out of bed.
JJ’s morning routine was easy and quick. You changed her diaper, made her breakfast, washed her and put her into a new set of clothes. Jules followed closely as you walked down stairs with JJ on arms. The baby girl giggling every time Jules would do anything.
“Da-da,” JJ mumbled when her eyes found a picture of Jensen in the wall.
You swallowed down, shutting your eyes for a moment.
“He’s-,” you cleared your throat, “you’ll see him soon, baby girl.”
You kissed her soft hair before placing her inside the pink playground. You huffed a soft laugh watching her crawl quickly to her toys. The rest of the day went very slow but it wasn’t as crappy as the previous ones. You did your best to stay busy and away from any communications. You haven’t laid eyes on your phone since Tuesday and you weren’t planning on doing so any time soon. You weren’t ready to face the world yet.
Day 05
“Good morning,” Genevieve greeted as she strolled into the kitchen holding a brown bag.
“Please tell me those are bagels.” You muttered before taking a sip of your coffee.
Gen chuckled, “They are.”
She served them over a plate, taking the cream cheese out of the fridge. Gen poured herself coffee before taking a seat in the stool beside you.
“How are you feeling?” She asked, her tone was soft and caring.
You swallowed the bagel bite and shrugged.
“I don’t feel like dying anymore,” you said with honestly. “Guess that’s some progress.”
“It is some progress,” Gen smiled.
“Yay me,” you mumbled without humour.
Genevieve flashed a grin but she knew you weren’t joking yet you were trying to humour yourself out of being miserable. “Have you talked with your mom?” She asked.
Shaking your head, you slide the plate with the half eaten bagel forward. Clapping the crumbs away from your hands and turning back to Gen. “I don’t even know where my phone is.”
“Is,” Gen stood up from the stool. She reached a cabinet and took the cellphone out. “Here. I put it away and turned it off… knew you wanted to be left alone.”
Your eyes focused on the iPhone for a while. Genevieve was right; you did wanted to be left alone and forget about the world. You sighed as you pressed the button on the right, turning the device on. It took a couple seconds for your phone stop ringing. Countless messages and missed calls showing on your notification center. You bit your lower lip staring at Jensen’s name on most of the calls and messages.
“You don’t have to talk to no one if you’re not ready,” Gen said.
“I have to at some point,” you told her.
Gen took your phone and turned it off. “When you’re ready, you know when it’s hidden.”
She put it back on place and had her seat next to you.
“Thank you,” you told her. “If it wasn’t for you-,” you hold on the tears, “just thank you.”
“Hey,” Gen hold up your chin. “I’ll always be here.”
Day 06
You woke up with enough courage to confront the person that brought you to life. Your heart beat faster and faster with every ring. It wasn’t until she responded the face-time call that you gasped for air. Seeing your mother’s face was very comforting.
“Hey, sweetheart,” she gave you her motherly smile.
You faked a smile, “Hey mom.”
“You’ve been so distant,” she said. “I’ve been trying to reach you for the past days.”
You could feel the tears slowly building up once again. “I’m good,” you tried your best to kept the sadness and heartbreak hidden. “I’m just-,”
“Honey,” your mother spoke concerned. “What’s wrong?”
“It’s Ja-,” you cleared your throat, “Jensen… He- Um.” You tried to said the word but there was too much shame. You couldn’t say it outloud. You couldn’t and didn’t want accept the reality.
“Oh darling,” your mother sighed. She could see the heartbreak in your eyes and tears. Her motherly intuition telling her what was happening. “I’m so sorry.”
“He-,” you mumbled, scared of saying the word. “He cheated, mom.”
Your mother shut her eyes, tears began to go down her cheeks. She caressed her forehead, holding onto her own emotions. “He’s so in love with you… How-,”
“He got drunk,” you muttered… “I feel so worthless…”
“Where’s JJ?” She asked worried.
“She’s taking a nap,” you said. “She’s good, mom… Gen has been helping me out.” You looked at your mother in the eye. “I don’t know what to do, mom… I feel like my entire life crumbled down. I-,” you sobbed looking away.
“Hey,” you mother captured your attention. “You’re going to get through this. It hurts like hell. I know but you’ll get through this.”
“How?”
“Fighting the urge to stay in bed every day.” Your mom spoke fiercely. “You’re going to get through this and it won’t be because you need to but because you have to. You have a daughter that depends on your well being for her to be okay.”
You looked down to your hand, noticing that you still had the ring on. “What about this?” You turned back to your mom, showing the engagement ring. “Is in less than two months… I can’t just-”
“Yes, you can,” she said, “if it’s what you feel, if that’s what you want, do it.”
“I don’t want to, I love him.” You cried and shook your head. “I don’t even know what I want anymore.”
“You’ll discover it with time,” she said. “Just remember that there’s a little girl whose doesn’t have fault of anything that’s happening. She still needs her father, Y/N.”
“I know,” you told her, “I- I would never keep her away from him. He’s her father…”
“You’ll have to work something out for her.” Your mother said.
“I know,” you repeated.
In that moment JJ began to cry. “She’s up - I have to go.”
“Sweetie,” your mom spoke, “I can take the first flight over.”
Shaking your head saying ‘no’. “Don’t bother,” you told her. “I’m flying to LA soon. Can you prepare your old apartment for me?”
Your mother nodded, “Already on it, sweetheart. I love you.”
“Love you too,” you said before ending the call.
Day 07.
You were very hesitant of logging into your computer. Countless unread emails from work, family and wedding issues, flooding your inbox. You let out a big and sharp breath. Covering your face with both hands, you began to massage your temples. Another worthless attempt for self soothing.
It was eight pm, JJ was peacefully asleep and you needed a drink. You stood up from the stool and reached the wine fridge, grabbing the first open bottle that came to sight. You also grabbed the first wine glass that you saw and filled it with the bloody colored licor.
You began to walk around your house, purposely ignoring the family picture still on the walls. A flashback of the greatest memories replaying inside your mind. You kept walking until finding yourself inside the master bedroom. It was the first time in a week that you found the guts to get yourself to walk in. You took the last sip of the glass and shifted into sipping from the bottle. Leaving the bottle over the closet counter as you grabbed your wedding gown off it’s bag.
Once it was hanged in front; you took a moment to take it’s beauty. It was truly beautiful and pure… but you weren’t that anymore, your relationship wasn’t that anymore.
Your love with Jensen wasn’t pure anymore.
You didn’t hesitate when you began to pour the red wine on top of the dress. You watched how slowly drip down, staining the dress from the top to the bottom.
The sound of the front door’s bell made you snap away from the trance. You walked downstairs, with the almost empty bottle of wine in hand. You opened carelessly, thinking it was Gen making sure you haven’t slit your wrist or done something stupid.
But it wasn’t Gen who waited for you on the other side, it was Jensen.
You took a deep breath in, feeling the familiar ache inside your heart.
“Hey,” Jensen’s voice was gruff.
Jared wasn’t kidding when he said Jensen was a completely wreck. Jensen’s under eyes were darker and hollow, he hasn’t been sleeping at all. His green eyes were accompanied by a shade of red. This letting you how much he’s been crying.
Even though he looked miserable, his eyes lit up at the sight of you.
“You’ve been drinking?” Jensen cocked an eyebrow confused and worried.
You glanced down, taking a deep breath before speaking. “More like spilling it around but yes,” you took a mouthful sip of the wine. “Come in. We have to talk.”
He followed your steps into the living room in silence. Afraid of saying or looking you the wrong way. Jensen tried to seat next to you but you hold a hand on the air.
“No.” You looked at the couch next to yours. “There.”
Jensen nodded and sat where you told him without any complain. He looked at you, not recognizing the woman staring back at him. You looked so cold and broken in his eyes.
“I’m sor-,” he began to say.
“-stop,” you cut him off. “Stop saying you’re sorry.” You snapped, tired and over his apologies. “You saying how sorry and drunk you were, won’t change what happened. It will not make things better, Jensen.”
Jensen clenched his jaw, holding both of his hands together. You were right; no matter how much he apologized, it wouldn’t make things better. “I just want everything to be as it was…” He looked you in the eye, “I want my family back.”
You were so nervous that you hold your hands together as well. The fingers of your right hand playing with your engagement ring. He was staring at you, it was palpable.
“I never meant to hurt you, Y/N,” Jensen’s voice broke. “You know that.”
“You didn’t just hurt me, Jensen.” You hesitated to look him in the eye. Tears began to run down your face and his. “You broke me. You broke what we had. Our love-,” you bit your lower lip, taking a brief pause not to burst into sobs. “Our love was pure and you broke it.”
Jensen nodded, the tears running down. “We can fix it-,”
“No,” you shook your head.
“We can,” Jensen stood up and knelt in front of you. “We can.”
“No.” You looked into his eyes, crying hopelessly.
Jensen shook his head as you took the engagement ring off. He pulled back when you grabbed his hand and placed the piece of jewelry on it. Jensen dropped his head above the hand, completely tearful.
It was in that moment that Jensen’s world fell over him. “Please,” he begged in tears. “Give me a chance. Think about us, about our life-” he looked up, “our daughter.”
“Don’t pull the daughter card, Jensen.” you told him. “Were you thinking about us, our life, our daughter, when you screw that skank?” You spatted. “I don’t think so.”
“I wasn’t thinking,” Jensen said. “I would never do that in my right mind, Y/N. I love you.”
“You did it,” you couldn’t hold back the tears. “I can’t do this.”
He sighed sharply, “What about JJ? What about work? Are we going to just ignore each other?”
“JJ will always be your daughter. I can’t be selfish with our daughter. She doesn’t have any fault in this but she is the only relation we are going to have from now on.” You pulled your hand back from his. “We are professionals, we can leave our private life out of set…”
“Please-,” Jensen begged.
You stood up, walking away from him and staying in the kitchen. He stayed in the floor, broken and helpless. He dammed the day he decided going in that trip without you.
“I’m going to LA with JJ…”
Your words made Jensen look instantly up. “What?” He stood up.
You swallowed, “I’m not going to stay in here… too many memories”
“You can’t do this,” Jensen shook his head. “You don’t have to leave to Los Angeles.”
“I need this time,” you told him.
Jensen sucked in air, controlling his temperament and disagreement. “Okay. Can I go see her?”
“Sure,” you said and watched him walk upstairs.
He stayed in JJ’s nursery for a while. You walked upstairs and listened to him sing to her. Jensen also apologized to his daughter a thousand times before telling her how much he loved her. You followed Jensen downstairs, you both stood in silence in the front door. It was very late, dark and cold outside but neither of you could seem to notice.
Jensen stared deeply at your eyes. He wasn’t just looking at you… He was taking you in, memorizing every single feature in your face. He was saying goodbye. Jensen knew that time would pass before seeing you again.
“I love you,” he said quietly, a tear falling down his face. “I’ve always have and I’ve always will.”
You loved him too and you hated him at the same time.
“I’m sorry,” Jensen said before turning around and leaving.
Watching him leave felt just like day one, heavy, numb and hopeless.

Title: Calls from Rome.
Masterlist
“Oh my, God. It’s gorgeous!” Genevieve exclaimed.
You looked down at the dress and smiled widely, it was indeed beautiful. It only took you a day of going around New York city with your mother, you finally found the right wedding dress. Genevieve reached your side to see the dress up on close. Her eyes were lighting up as she looked more at the dress.
“I’m in love with the details,” she looked at you with a big smile across her face. “I’m so excited for you.”
“The day just keeps coming closer,” you said staring at the dress. “I’m so nervous. I can’t believe in matter of weeks, I’ll be a married woman.”
Genevieve hugged you tightly, “It’s going to be an amazing day, Y/N.”
“What if-,”
“-don’t doubt yourself, Y/N,” Gen spoke before you could let out your fears. “You guys love each other so damn much. You and Jensen have a wonderful life ahead.”
“You’re going to make me cry,” you said feeling the tears building up.
“I’m already crying!” She laughed as the tears went down her cheeks.
You hugged her back, “Thank you for everything.”
“I’m just so excited for you,” Gen laughed wiping the tears away, “You and Jensen are meant to be.” She turned to look at JJ sleeping in her coral, “I can’t wait to see how your family grows over time. And I just hope we would be forever friends and to witness everything.”
“We will be, sister,” you said holding onto the hug.
After spending the day with Genevieve and her boys in the pool; you, JJ and Jules head back to home. It was nearly eleven pm and JJ didn’t want to go to sleep just yet. You were in your room watching TV with her in your arms when your cellphone received a facetime call from Jared.
“Hey!” You picked up.
Instead of being greeted with Jared’s face, you saw the cast and Jensen singing on stage. Instantly a smile appeared across your face. Jensen was surrounded by the cast and about to sing the last verse, which also was your personal favorite for him to perform.
“Catch the cannonball, now to take me down the line
My bag is sinking low, and I do believe it’s time”
While Jensen sang those lines, Jared made his way to the stage. For a glimpse of a second Jensen thought Jared was going to join them, that was until he saw you staring at him through his best friend phone. Your fiance's eyes lit up like it was Christmas morning.
Jensen kept singing to the crowd with his eyes glancing at you from time to time. “To get back to soon Miss Ackles, y’all know she’s the only one.” Everyone in the crowd cheered with Jensen’s improvised words. “Who sent me here, with her regards for everyone”
Your past and present co-workers kept singing to the song’s chorus. JJ’s attention was captured by the song and the cellphone, she was completely focused on Jensen singing live. She looked up to you, like she was questioning if that was her daddy.
“That’s da-da,” you said softly with a smile and pointed at the screen.
She smiled back at you before looking back to the screen. Jensen was singing the last line, adding a smooth ‘yeah’ after the cast went quiet. Instantly the fans and crowd cheered for everyone. JJ listening to everyone applaud, she began to clap her hands.
“Da-da!” JJ spoke with excitement when she saw Jensen on the screen.
Your eyes got widen and Jensen’s as well. You were surprised he listened to her speak with the amount of noise that was around him. Jensen took the phone from Jared’s hands.
“Did she say-.” Jensen stuttered.
“Yes!” You exclaimed, “She just said her first word!”
Jensen was speechless, “People! People!” He shouted loud enough for the mic in front of him to capture the words. “My daughter just spoke her first words!” Instantly everyone around him cheered. “She said ‘Da-da’!” Jensen turned to see you, “I love you so much, JJ.”
JJ giggled at the sight of her father, “Da-da.” She repeated.
This time you could see a tear falling down Jensen’s cheek. You smiled wishing you were in Rome, wishing you could kiss him. “Love you.”
Jensen smiled big, “I love you. I’ll call you later.”
“Love you too,” you blew a kiss before ending the call.
After that sudden call from Jensen, your daughter stayed up for a little while longer. You also stayed up, waiting for Jensen’s call but it never happened. It wasn’t till 1am that you finally gave up and went to sleep.
“He must be having too much fun with the boys.” You thought.
The morning after you woke up before JJ, taking the time to feed Jules and do some house work. As it wasn’t strange for Jensen not to call you back, it felt stranger waking up without a text message from him. This wasn’t normally like him and you wondered if he had too much fun that he was still sleeping.
Placing the half full cup of coffee over the counter, you glanced at the baby monitor; JJ was still sleeping. You grinned unbuttoning Jensen’s flannel you wore to sleep. Wearing his clothes had become a habit every time he’s out of town. You waited for Jensen to pick up the face time call, your cleavage pronounced and the bad girl in you ready to have some deserved fun with your man.
It took Jensen a couple rings to pick up the phone. Once he did, you were greeted by him inside a really bright room. You guess; the bathroom. Jensen was obviously straight up woken up by the call.
“Babe?” You spoke, your eyebrows forming a scowl.
Jensen’s eyes were widened and was acting weird. “Hey! Babe!”
“Did I wake you?” You rested your chin over your hand, showing your boobs off for him to take a hint… It wasn’t working.
“Yeah,” Jensen cleared his throat, scratching the back of his head. “Um-, babe, can I call you later? Jared is at the door and I have to get dressed.”
You glanced down at your uncovered chest, “You’re seeing that I’m practically shirtless over here, right?”
Jensen looked down to your chest, the corner of his lips perking up. “Oh, I see it babe… but, I really can’t now. I’ll call you later. Promise.”
A sigh crawled up your throat, “Sure… Bye.”
Out of all the years you’ve been with Jensen, you’ve never felt rejected. He always made sure you felt sexy and desired by him. Even when you were pregnant and felt horrible and unattractive. Phone sex has been something you and him have mastered over the years of dating. Both of you found it fun and naughty. In your case, it made you feel younger and you loved it. But this morning there was something wrong with Jensen yet you couldn’t quite put your finger on it.
