So I want to give my fifty cents into this theory because I'm obsessed.
What if Andrew and Jeremy met in juvie (the original theory, yeah, I really don't remember who posted it but I love it) BUT as Jeremy is 2/3 years older than Andrew and we know he went to normal high-school at least for his final years...
What if Jeremy was part of a program to help "problem kids" find their way into society.
1) He was forced to be part of the program because his mom was starting to date his step-dad and it would look really good for them if the kids were part of a social service activity.
2) He was assigned to Andrew because it was his last year on the program and the officers knew he was the best volunteer/the one with more success cases.
3) Andrew didn't want to talk to him at first and only did mandatory activities with Jeremy, until they tried exy. And their "connection" formed.
4)Jeremy had another last name and Andrew promised silently to never tell anyone and to act as if they didn't know eachother if they ever cross paths again (neither of them thought that was a possibility).
5) Andrew was Jeremy's sexual awakening, the first one he would feel confortable enough to accept that despite whatever people think he did not like women and that was okay. (If I remember correctly the original theory was the other way around, but this could also be true).
6) Jeremy called Andrew "Doe", but not in a bad way like Riko, in a fond way because Andrew reminded him of a real doe he saw once, scared and beautiful but strong and capable. He almost calls him that when he saw Andrew at his first banquet as a Fox, but he was never alone to approach him to ask if it was okay, and had to play off the weird greeting he gave him.
