Damian was at his limits
This game of tom and jerry has been going for too long and at some point he thinks he became the mouse
He saw the jester roaming on the rooftops and he chased after them why? Because he despises the jester to a 3rd degree level one could argue it rivals Jason's hate to Bruce
But If you asked the jester they would say they and Robin were playing tag such a fun game isn't it
Robin goes upstairs the jester goes downstairs Robin goes on the roof the jester goes in ally ways and the cycle would go on with the jester's giggles and Robin's huffs of annoyance
"Do you want to fight or not stop acting like a child!" Damain said as he jumped on the jester finally catching them and pinning the to the floor the jester was caught of guard and looked up at him not in mockery not in anger but in fear
While damian didn't expect the jester to fight back he certainly didn't expect to see fear and only then did he realise how small and skinny the jester is
They were only a child
He didn't know wether to be impressed or concerned on one hand the jester has managed to evade every single bat even Bruce had difficultly in getting near them Robin wants to take the jester to batman
But
On the other hand they were only a kid who probably under all the jester make up looked sickly who looks as skinny as toothpicks who was laughing just minute ago cuz they were having fun Dalia wants to leave them go
He was never that conflicted before
He close his eyes and groans with frustration and gets up the jester looks at him confused "leave now before i change my mind"
The jester smiled and ran away Damian was already starting to regret letting them go but he didn't run after them he let them go. For now atleast.

The next day Damian found a letter in his mail what did it say? Guess
One thing for sure the little jester might not be so bad Damian scoffed at it the crazy amount of glitter in the little envelopeThe contents of the letter is a secret for another day
