Does anyone remember when Snoop Dog was on this show!? That was hilarious!! My all time favorite episode of this has to be Season 1 Episode 19!!!

On this day 10 years ago, Sanjay & Craig premiered on Nickelodeon.

It is known for being one of the few animated Nick shows in the past 15 years to finish its run on the main channel without being burned off to Nicktoons and to make it to a third season.

Sanjay And Craig creators Jim Dirschberger, Jay Howell, and Andreas Trolf mentioned on Fall 2023 that they are developing a new series for Disney Channel at Disney Television Animation

We wish them best luck on the potential greenlit.

So back when I spent all of August doing what I called #Doodleodeon - I had a lot of fun, drew a lot of great tributes for roughly 20 yrs worth of Nick animation.

On a random passing, Jim Dirschberger saw this Sanjay cartoon in my Instagram feed and commented on it. I was thrilled to put it mildly. He asked for a good scan, which I absolutely sent him, and there was talk of maybe getting a copy signed.

Hey, I was just happy someone actually saw what I'd done & liked it enough to say so. Having one of the creators say he likes it is gold. Anything else is just groovy.

Some time has gone by, I wasn't thinking about it, and what do I see sitting on my front porch today? A simple manilla envelop with a Burbank return address.

Now imagine a full grown man squealing and running inside to open this treasure. Not so long ago my life was pretty serious. Cartooning was not even in the picture. I only started drawing again about 2 yrs ago, so to be at a growth point where I get excited over a drawing is pretty cool to me. It at least lets me know I must be on the path I'm supposed to be on if I'm genuinely happy.

And blah blah blah, you don't need all that backstory. Just wanted to share this cool cartoon signed by the voice actors - Chris Hardwick & Maulik Pancholy. Thanks to Jim for taking time to actually get it signed and mail it. That's really cool of you.
