been thinking about how when Enjin first sees Rudo use his instrument he's amazed that he has two (not understanding how the gloves work yet)

BUT specifically that hes excited and impressed but not freaking out saying its impossible

he also doesnt mention anything about "but only the watchman series" or whatever

which implies that it IS possible for other "normal" givers (aka not one of the big four) could potentially have more than one vital instrument & its known that it can happen though likely quite uncommon

so… I started thinking and, what if the Batfam had gachiakuta jinkis?

So here is my absolute list of what they’d have no doubt about it idk I’m tired may update later (also I’m adding tidbits about how I’d design them for later when I start designing them)

Bruce-I was considering making his Jinki a row of his mothers pearls but I feel like a more fitting one would be a trenchcoat or something similar to that which lets him go into shadows or just generally travel through them. I feel like his outfit would be a lot more covering than all the others and he’d have a lot of leg armor since his trenchcoat would protect him, his gas mask (look up the gachiakuta masks) would be similar to his canon mask but I like the idea of it actually being a lot more bat like.

dick-okay so his are pretty simple, I think they’d either be a pair of those acrobat flats or his escrima sticks, that said I think he’d have a set of earrings that turn into the sticks cause that’s cool, also I feel like he’d be one of those people who wears shawls a lot, and it’d be cool if that shall was made of a safety net, I think he’d have a light and loose or tight outfit, and his mask would have much cleaner stitching than the others and would be basically entirely blue

Barbra- I think hers would be the oracle mask (I don’t wanna make it the chair just because that isn’t her whole personality) it would let her tap into technology and information. Also I think another strong candidate is her glasses which would give her an ability like semiu. I feel like her outfit would be the most casual since she isn’t GOING OUT to fight as much, her gas mask would basically be a copy of her oracle mask just adding the gas mask

Jason- okay so Jason’s a bit difficult cause I feel like I’m limited on his options so I feel like the big 3 ideas I have are a lighter that can turn into sort of lightsaber esk blade, a defibrillator cause of the whole death thing, and a nailgun that causes a explosion of some kind, if you have better ideas let me know I got kinda stumped here. I wanna make Jason the biggest physically out of the bunch and I want his gas mask to look the most used and broken in, I also want his outfit to be mostly desaturated but have a bright pop of red

Tim- I feel like Tim would be the kind of person who hoards his energy drink cans and forgets to throw them out, so for a bit I was thinking he would have a energy drink can which basically hyper accelerates his thinking, but at the same time I like scribble goblins au where he’s a trans girl and has the prosthetic legs, so I’m gonna give them prosthetic legs as their vital instrument. Tim I don’t have much ideas for but I want them to wear glasses, why not. Also I want their outfit to look kinda thrown together but also practical

cass- okay so, cass. I don’t think I’ve read enough of her comics to have the BEST idea, but I do feel like she’d have some sort of ice themed Jinki just cause. So like a fan (like a knife fan) that can make big waves of ice (cause I like the idea of her vital instrument being non lethal) or her hand wraps that she can use kinda like bro Santa’s(I swear to god yes that is his actual name look him up) to grab onto stuff and sorta fling herself around or wrap up opponents. So for now that’s hers. I want her outfit to be basically all black with some yellow and white accents, I also feel like her outfit would be completely practical. Not many other ideas, oh I have one more. I want her to have muscle cause like we never see her with it?!?!?!!? Like come on dc. Also she’s selectively mute here.

Steph- I know, JACKSHIT ABOUT STEPH, I have read like one of her comics and I only really knew about her for a while cause of Wayne family adventures (not a big fan of it anymore, got kinda psa’ish after a while) but her name is spoiler so… maybe like a microphone? I dunno again feel free to comment better ideas. Uhh…… hoodie. That’s all I got. Maybe a slight casual theme?

Damian- okay, Damian! I do actually have a decent amount of ideas for him! So I feel like the strongest candidates are some kind of dog whistle made of bone, a katana/knife cause of all his time in the league, a manga pen thats ink is made of anima and turns into a blade, and my personal favorite is a small statue of a dragon bat that turns into Goliath :D all of them are good candidates. I like his grey Robin outfit and I want his mask to have a crow theme and a slight feather theme across his clothes. Actually I like the idea of his mask having a goat esk devil theme cause of the demons head thing (also I think it’d be funny if ras al ghuls vital instrument was Tim’s spleen and his mask had a hand theme)

Kate- I feel like Kate’s instruments would be something cop based since well… she was a cop. So I feel like batons are the best candidate but at the same time I really like the idea of her having a non combat instrument but still being able to beat the shit out of people with her bare hands, so I like the idea of her using a walkie talkie or a pair of handcuffs that temporarily can shut off a opponents anima use (and therefore, their vital instrument) Kate’s outfit would probably have one of those black military jackets cause they look cool I guess? I want her outfit to be all black with red accents.

Alfred- a monocole or his shotgun, both are good candidates, honestly it’s barely a competition for me, plus the uses are pretty simple, he’s Alfred, he’ll kick ass even without a instrument. He’s Alfred. You know what a tuxedo is. Also I’m giving him a air force jacket cause he was in the Air Force (I don’t know if that exists in gachiakuta a and frankly I do not care)

Selina- I feel like she’d have some sort of bag that has infinite storage, simple but still, that or some sort of whip with infinite reach that’d be really cool! Her outfit would be kinda reminiscent of her absolute outfits just cause

Harper- honestly, homegirl would just have a taser, can’t go wrong with a taser and electrical powers. She’s cool. I like her. I like tasers. Boom. Not much to say, punk outfit and her mask would have a bluejay theme

duke- his whole thing is seeing things and manipulating light so I feel like he’d have sunglasses or something less used to protect from the sun. But still. Probably the glasses. Same outfit as he usually does just more scrappy looking and more visible stitches

that’s all, give me ideas if you have them, I’m tired, four hours of sleep, and my brains gone kaput, byyyeeeee love you all

Jabber having his own rituals with Mankira.

Each ring has an assigned finger, and he will literally start tweaking if Mankira’s right ring finger is on his left ring finger. He has dents in his fingers where she sits. He polishes her every morning and night and washes his hands in a really particular way where he never takes her off unless he’s alone in a safe space, then the rings are placed in a row right in front of him where he watches them the whole time as he scrubs blood outta his nails.

He doesn’t like his hands being dirty because that’s Mankira’s home and he wants it to be a nice place for her. He has nail polish opinions and carries his bottle with him in case of chips because he wants to look nice to match his girl. He doesn’t give a shit about splints or anything except on his fingers because he wants Mankira to fit right all the time.

He sleeps with his hands under his head and curled around her to be sure he gets hurt first if someone attacks him in his sleep. If he puts her down at all or can’t find her, he’s literally a shaking mess of anxiety until they are reunited. If someone tried to take her away from him, he'd probably swallow her to keep her close.

This is pretty random compared to my other posts, but I've been getting into gachiakuta. And as I do with all things I obsess over, I made myself a oc. Thus, came my idea for a Jinki.

A plushie. Think about it, a small kid wonder around with a little tiger plushie that turns into a huge ass tiger beast that can take down a trash beast in a matter of minutes.
