I keep fantasizing that Subaru and Haku actually met when they were kids, since they both come from well-known families (?). Like maybe when Subaru went with his family to a shrine for New Year’s hatsumōde, it just happened to be Haku’s family’s shrine—and Haku remembered Subaru from back then. So when they meet again in Darkwick, it’s actually a reunion… that kind of romantic daydream

Maybe they didn’t actually talk, just brushed past each other like that—Haku remembered Subaru, but Subaru didn’t remember Haku. And when they met again, Haku never told Subaru that he’d known him all along… I can’t help but feel like that’s exactly how it went.

This ship is also the kind that can’t really get physically close because of stigma, but I’ll forever ignore that in fanworks.

Or maybe imagine that when they do get close, Subaru can hear Haku’s inner longing for him，that would be pretty intense too, wow.

I feel like if Haku used his mouth to pull off Subaru’s gloves, it would be insanely charged with sexual tension.

Plus, the way his sanpaku eyes would glance upward like that would give off such a dangerous vibe… Haku occasionally turning into that kind of dangerous man when it comes to Subaru is just chef’s kiss.
