Catherine dies -> lives with Joe and Trina -> they die due to helping dick grayson robin -> dick suggests adoption but Jason runs away -> Post-crisis jason stuff -> deciding on jason's superhero name with Bruce -> nocturna legal battle

the Red Lantern Catherine Todd AU is actually now TWO AU's bc I was looking at circus Jason and had Thoughts

The original was that like Catherine and Crystal are sisters and they're working together trying to make things better for their kids but then Jason gets murdered by the Joker so Catherine becomes a RL and murders the Joker (more on that in a different post)

The second new one, I did a slight twist in that instead of Joe and Trina or Catherine and Willis, Jason's parents are Catherine and Joe, and Catherine left Gotham and works with the circus but Joe and Jason are the acrobats... who die rip and That sends Catherine down the RL path (she even gets a kinda cool if unoriginal look and name - the Weeping Widow) (she cries blood) (more on this in a different post as well)

So I like to look at the first time we see characters in comics I've done Tim so now I'll do Jason. Technically Jason Todd's first appearance is Detective Comics #525. Dick is going to The Sloan Circus because Killer Croc is extorting the circus for money. So now we have our first introduction to The Todd's (Trina, Joe and Jason) and Dick taking with Jason when his parents are outside.

In the next comic Jason's parents are helping track down Killer Croc while Jason is at Wayne Manor.

Where he finds the Batcave and dressed up in one of Dicks spare costumes. Batman comes back to check a map and Jason hops into the back of the Batmobile.

Batman goes to his destination, Jason pops out and spots some rogues decides to help.

(That's Selina and Talia their helping Batman) Batgirl (Who was helping Dick) told Batman that the Todd's were killed by Killer Croc, Jason heard and freaked out and Dick comforted him

Then later Dick said he wanted to adopt Jason because they went through the same thing. Dick blames himself for their death. But Bruce ends up being his guardian.

I think he's cute, their's more blonde haired circus Jason if you want more but that's his first intro before crisis (after crisis is stealing tires and hitting Batman black haired Jason)
