<rant> Currently angsting over how much movies are going away from comic story lines. John "Robin" Blake does not just BECOME Batman. The only person who becomes Batman is Dick Grayson, after Bruce "dies." There was not Robin who even had Robin as their real name. Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, and Damian Wayne - THEY are Nightwing, Red Robin, and Robin. There wasn't a John "Robin" Blake. And while those three aren't the only three men who joined the Bat Fam, there STILL wasn't a John Blake. I dunno. Young Justice for life. Way more accuracy in one "kids" television show than there is in the upcoming movies, and in the last Dark Knight movies. I l o v e d the Dark Knight trilogy. It was very inventive and a creative spin on things. The action and directing was beautiful. But it had inaccuracies, and some inaccuracies should not be continued, and yet they're being continued. WHY?
And yes, I might be a tad bit inaccurate with what I have said in my rant. This is just to my knowledge. But I checked- John "Robin" Blake was NOT a Robin and he CERTAINLY is not a Batman. </rant>
I felt like doing smth like this for a few days already- Today I did it: TDKR cartoon sequel where domdomdom alive Bane leads John Blake/Nightwing/Batman on a merry goos chase all over the world.
This time- Hong Kong! :D

Fallout.
Chapter 1 Jim Gordon was a simple man. He had very few needs. Right now, he NEEDED whoever was knocking on his office door to go away. He groaned and ran a hand through his graying hair, exasperated beyond the point of endurance. Even still…“Come in.” “John Blake to see you, sir.” “Why didn’t you say so? Send him in!” The man that walked through his door barely qualified as the one who’d walked away from him a year before at Wayne Manor, after Bruce’s funeral. He was leaner and more muscled, moving with a practiced grace that had been missing from the young detective. “Commissioner Gordon.” “Mr. Blake, what a pleasant surprise. Dare I hope that you’re here for your job back? We could use you.” “I’m afraid not, sir.” “Then how can I help you?” “As I’m sure you know, I’ve been helping out with the Wayne House and the boys living there.” “And you’ve been doing a fantastic job.” John frowned and slid back in his chair a bit. “Thank you, but that’s not why I’m here. I’ve been concerned for the past few months. We’ve been seeing some very strange things show up on the grounds…fish with legs, that sort of thing.” “You watch the news—you know as well as anyone the effect that bomb had on the bay. It was bound to come up at some point.” “I think it’s affecting more than the local wildlife.” Gordon froze. “What do you mean?” “We’ve had prowlers at night—at first I thought the boys were exaggerating, but I caught a glimpse of one of them yesterday. He wasn’t… human.” “Like Harvey?” “Dent? No, he was still human, just deformed and deranged. This thing looked like a huge animal, but it moved with human purpose. I’m not crazy,” he said hurriedly, recognizing the look on Gordon’s face. “I don’t think you are.” “Yes, you do. At the least, you’re thinking I’m mistaken.” “John…” “I wanted to let you know, so you could put your guard up,” he said, standing up and closing his coat with a few jerky movements. “But this may be out of GPD’s hands.” “And whose hands will it be in, if not ours?” John paused by the door, one hand on the knob. “Mine.” He was gone before Gordon could formulate a response. * “Hey, Johnnie!” one of the boys called as John left his car in one of the many driveways of Wayne House and made a beeline for his rooms. “Wait up!” He paused in his steps ever so slightly, just long enough for the gangly teen to catch up and fall into stride alongside him. “Did you talk to the Commissioner?” “Yes, for whatever good it did.” “He didn’t believe you?” “I think it was a lot to take in—he didn’t send cops with me, that’s for sure.” “What are we gonna do, then? The little kids keep straying toward the back of the grounds.” When he reached his room, John turned and put his hands on the boy’s shoulders.“We’ll have to watch them closer—pair them each up with an older kid. Timmy, I’m trusting you with this. I want you to organize the boys. I’ll check in with you later tonight.” With that, he closed the door on a determined face. * Though the idea was clearly absurd, Gordon couldn’t shake the thought of the fear in John’s eyes as he described this…creature. Still stuck in his apartment alone, his wife and kids in Cleveland, his mind kept drifting back to Wayne House. Finally, with a growl of frustration, he swung his legs out of bed and pulled on his clothes and holster. He’d never be able to rest until he drove by, at the very least.
