I really love your previous Mark's 'fanfic! Could you maybe write a similar thing about that? My idea is a Johnny fanfic where he fucks you in slow, deep, sensual missionary and suddenly makes you squirt for the first time when he's still inside of you. You feel so embarrassed, but Johnny realizes that it's so sexy, hot, and addictive. Thanks.
elia ! : tysm nonie!! i love this idea sm i hope u enjoy ><
johnny’s fingers stay laced with yours the entire time. it was grounding, the way he presses your intertwined hands into the pillows above your head. the sheer size of him making you feel fully pinned down. his broad chest grazing yours, his entire body a blanket of heat and pleasure.
you moan into his kiss when he thrusts into you deep again. almost painfully slow.
“fuck,” you pant out, your voice already diminished to a whisper. your body twitching as he holds you down, letting you feel every thick inch of him dragging out of you before sinking back in. his lips were shiny and plump from kissing you, irises swelling with a darker, lustier gaze.
“you feel that, baby?” his voice is strained. “how deep i am?”
you nod, chest rising and falling fast. your legs are trembling on either side of his waist. you’ve been so sensitive, constantly full, since he started.
“so fuckin’ tight,” he damn nearly growls, pressing your hands down harder into the mattress. “you’re taking me so well. just look at you.”
your lashes flutter open again. and the sight of him alone, almost makes you sob out in pleasure. his long and wavy hair all messy, his heart-shaped lips all plump and parted, his arms that flex as they hold you down.
“johnny—“ your manager to voice. “i can’t— it’s too much.”
his eyes soften for only half a second as he leans down to kiss your temple. following, he rolls his hips hard again, and murmurs low against your skin, “you can. you will. and you’re gonna let go for me, aren’t you?”
the sensation and pressure is all too dizzying. too much, too hot. your thighs try to close back together but he pushes them even wider in return. he groans when he catches the sight of how soaked you are.
“shit—feels like you’re gonna come again,” he pants, hips starting to move faster now. “you’re shaking, baby.”
you bury your face in the crook of his neck. and it’s so good you could cry. his cock keeps hitting that sweet little spot and the knot low in your belly is already snapping tight.
before you could stop it, your whole body jerks hard. a sudden rush of wet heat spills out of you and you let out a noise mixed between a whimper and a gasp.
“johnny—oh my god!”
your eyes dart up to him in complete panic, your cheeks burning a dark shade of pink. your voice gets incredibly smaller. “i didn’t mean to—“
“oh my god.” he thrusts once more, still deep as ever trying to savor it. “you just squirted for me.”
the look on his face says it all, staring down at the mess you just made all over both of you.
you squirm under him, trying to hide your face, more so your embarrassment, your legs still trembling. “that’s so embarrassing…”
“no. you know how hot that is?”
you whimper for the nth time, stunned by how his voice sounds now. it was rough, addicted.
babe,” he groans out, “you made a mess all over me. and i’m still inside you.” he starts to rock his hips again, making you cry out. the squelching of your pussy urging him to keep going. “you’re gonna do it for me again, okay? show me how good it feels.”
johnny wraps an arm around you as you nurse your ice cream, his eyes periodically flitting to the parlor door.
"sorry," he apologizes sheepishly, the thousandth time today, and you wave him away. it's almost comical now, how he happened to dive at the wrong angle during his volleyball rally on the green, how it happened during the 15 seconds you walked by. one volleyball to your shoulder later and you're here--it probably isn't even going to bruise, your wounded ego mending every second he focuses his attention on you. really, that is not the worst he can do. it would help if he would stop looking at the damn door.
"wasn't your fault," you remind, giggling despite yourself when he pulls you in closer. his smile is bedazzling; bewitching for perpetuity if he puts in an ounce more; casual just like the rest of him. you rant about your portfolio for next week's poetry competition and he listens. he jokes about his roommate's cooking setting off the fire alarm and you laugh at doyoung's misfortune. he pays for you long after your ice cream melts into a sweet puddle, and he holds your hand this time through the door.
the summer heat has faded into a breeze with less bite by the time you step outside. you're a few blocks away from the intersection where he can split to go back to his dorm, and you realize you don't know when you'll next see him, if this semester will be anything like the last.
is it worth a repeat? sneaking in to his much nicer room, sneaking out before the sidewalks crowd. round and round you spin on yourself while he rises with the day, easy as the leaves turning orange.
you wrack your brain for what to say to buy you more time to decide, and you decide on the nearest truth. "it was weird not seeing you in the library this summer. campus felt a little too quiet."
"really, you think so?" he beams at that, like he's been waiting for you to say it all along. "I missed you."
"missed you too."
and you did. so did he, but he missed a million versions of you--the conversationalist, the comforter, the convenient call. you missed only him.
that is the fundamental difference between the two of you, you think as he chatters in a comfortable lull; why he keeps coming back, why you keep letting him. no harm, no foul. you cannot alter the flow of time, but you can choose how to decorate it nonetheless, and you will be a lovely memory if he will be a good friend, you decide. lovely indeed.
at the stoplight, he turns toward your apartment's direction.
"i'll walk you back to your place," he says, smirk suggestive he might not leave. a good friend, you decide, and your smile is not nearly as brittle as your resolve.
"wow, doyoung kicked you out this early in the semester?"
his smile twinges a little, and you weigh apologizing--for what, you're not really sure--before he laughs it off, the sound a little forced. "yeah, he has one of our math friends over right now. it's just--we kind of got into an argument before this. she likes him, she deserves someone better."
the twist in his face twists your stomach a little. "someone better... like you?"
"no, what?" and he looks so perplexed, you feel a little dumb. "no, no, it's not like that. she was one of my first friends here. and--you know I love doyoung, but he's gotta get through this semester, work through some stuff first. she's, like, looking for a boyfriend, you know?"
you nod, and he's tense the rest of the walk back; you wonder if he said too much, if you said too little. i'm looking for a boyfriend too, you want to remind. but it's not his fault. it never is with him and you, you suppose. you've never had the nerve to tell him outside of the sound of your heartbeat when he's kissing you.
you invite him in, and he almost looks relieved, but he declines for the gym. and when you call out to him before he turns away, you decide to spare him the cognitive dissonance.
"you're a good friend. she's lucky to have you. doyoung, too."
he smiles at that, and you try to think of his smile when he leaves--not that you only know doyoung by chance, when he came back early spouting drunken poetry, mark on accident, brushing past him in a crowded doorway one morning; not that you will walk by him, day after day, and he will never run over this way ever again; not that you deserve better, when johnny suh could be better if only he wanted to try.

DON'T LIKE? DON'T READ!
“(y/n), we just finished our exams,” Mei playfully whined as she nudged your shoulder. “Let’s go out!”
“Where? I wanna stay in the city.” You chuckled.
“The local pool!” Mei rose up from her seat. “You miss swimming.”
“I wouldn’t know anyone there, except you.” You looked up at Mei and smiled.
“That’s exactly why we’re going!” Mei brimmed with anticipation.
While packing for the weekend, you were busy ruminating. Am I 100% sure?
You’ve kept quiet about your vices because you didn’t wanna be a problem for anyone to solve. The possibility of pivoting away from years of dedication to a craft, terrified you and if anyone, god forbid, were to find out, you wouldn’t know how to live with yourself. You indulged in the consequences in great detail, making you sweat profusely as your mind catered to every thought.
Hanging on the wall was your self-portrait from when you were young. Rough squiggly lines from a set of crayons your grandmother got you for Christmas. You had large oblong-shaped eyes and a rectangular smile on the piece of paper.
Imperfect but, you continued. She didn’t have a care in the world, you wondered.
The weekend finally comes when you hear a knock on the door, followed by a sweet tone which called out for you, it was Mei. Who else knows your address? you snickered. She dragged her small luggage inside and charged at you, with a snuggly hug. It just felt right for a moment.
“You look drowsy,” Mei, to her surprise, stepped away. “Was I too early?”
Your eyes widened as you took a deep gulp. If there’s one person worth telling, it’s her, right? you thought.
“Just amped up. Shall we?” You grabbed her hand and plastered a smile. After minutes without a bench in sight, you both arrive at the gate. Awfully spacious, you purse your lips.
“You sure it’s open? Looks like a cemetery.” You let out a laugh.
“Peace and quiet?” Mei giggled.
“Mhm, I do like the sound of that,” You continued. “I’ll just look around.” You left the resting hut.
Again, you were all alone but the fresh breeze did help you soothe your nerves. Walking slowly made you notice how poignant the red and white striped pool lanes were. The heat outside striked the surface of your skin as you brush your hair back. You couldn’t put into words why the constant stream of water keeps colliding.
Your thoughts were interrupted by a loud thud inside the restroom. The sink had sachets scattered messily around and a stack of kickboards were on the ground. Unbeknownst to you that taking one step would make you fall flat on the floor. The impact it had on your bottom was so painful, you couldn’t get up nor think clearly. You were greeted by a six-foot man looking down on the mess that is you.
“Shit, sorry! You okay?” The man hastily asks as he reaches out his hand for you.
“You think?” You said with gritted teeth. “My butt’s sore!”
“I’m Johnny, by the way,” Johnny hesitated for a moment before meeting your gaze. “What’s yours?”
“(y/n). But I’ve to go.” You slowly get up off the ground, with zero intent of letting him utter another word.
You were about to leave when Johnny tapped your shoulder. Something about his energy drew you in, so you indulge with what he has to say.
“A lifeguard’s not usually like this,” He continued as he scratched the back of his head. “Lemme make it up to you.”
“You’d like that, wouldn’t you?” You brushed past him.
Before turning behind your back, Johnny was left standing there, stunned. Curiosity grew deeper and you knew you had to bump into him again.
Practically limping from your swollen bottom, Mei saw you from a far and quickly ran towards your direction. She sits you down at the resting hut with a towel on her back.
“(y/n), who did this?” Mei hands you a cup of water, voice trembling.
“I slipped on the pavement!” You humour her after taking a few sips. Mei lifted a brow in response.
“Just a clumsy lifeguard.” You winced. “But I’m okay!” You look into her eyes intently.
“Doesn’t look like that.” Mei’s voice dropped, avoiding eye contact with you.
“What’re you getting at?” You tilt your head sideways, eyes bulged.
“Just tell me, (y/n).” Her nostrils flare up, voice low.
You took a deep breath as you closed your eyes. You started to mumble, at first, but you kept going. You told her how you endured studying at such a prestigious university because of her and opened up about skipping graduation altogether.
“I brushed it all off because I had you,” Your hands fidgeted. “Now, I’m not so sure.”
“So you’re saying, it’s my fault?” Mei pursed her lips. “You lied to me.” She crossed her arms.
“No, because I’d lose you if I did!” You raised your voice before covering your mouth.
“You know what,” Mei tensed up. “Talk to me when you’ve come back to your senses.” She brushed her forehead with a puzzled look.
Mei dragged her luggage, left the hut without looking back. Shocked to your core, you knew begging was useless. Letting the person you trust the most to pull away was a guttural feeling. You cried yourself to sleep that evening.
You abruptly wake up as the sun hits the surface of your skin. You hear children laughing at the pool when you are interrupted by a familiar voice.
“Sleepyhead.” A glint of light shines from Johnny.
“I don’t recall nicknames.” You retort back, getting up as you rub your eyelids.
“What’s mine, then?” He exchanged.
“Stalker.” A chuckle broke out between the space the two of you shared.
“What’re you doing, aside from spying on me?” You questioned.
“If you must know, I work here,” Johnny said. “Pool’s full today and I need an extra pair of hands. Job’s yours if you want!” He offered.
“I don’t have experience,” Before you could finish, Johnny eyed you up. It was different from the day you first met him. He wasn’t clumsy, but incredulous and had you high on a new feeling.
“Relax, I got you.” Johnny reassured you as he placed both his hands on your shoulders.
Your cheeks turned a shade of red and you knew, he had noticed as before he shook his head. You rolled your eyes at him and nodded.
Your job began by preparing kickboards near the pool. Johnny left you to man the desk for a few minutes, you didn’t expect today to be packed. You took notice of a collision of waves splashing against each other. Opposites, you tell yourself. A different life you could’ve been living if you were honest with yourself versus the one you have today. You’ve dug yourself a grave deeper than your fingers deep into the kickboard you were holding, tightening the grip when it suddenly snaps. And it was your fault. A bunch of kids with dagger eyes, gossiping about you. Tears start to form and blur your vision from what’s ahead when Johnny catches up behind you.
“Let’s go.” Johnny breathed.
“I’m fine.” You said, reluctant to take his help. “Don’t you have a job to do?”
“Technically, you do too.” Johnny laughed. “C’mon, who doesn’t take breaks?” He pulls you up to take you inside.
As you walked through the door, silence welcomed you, but in a good way. Johnny gestured to you to sit at his chair before offering you a cup of water. As you take a sip, you let out a scoff, visibly coughing as your emotions start to burst. Feelings of overwhelm lapped you like ocean waves when you lay everything down.
“I stayed in a program because it’d be too disappointing to throw away years of sweat and tears down the drain,” Your voice low, head in hands. “Now, I lost my best friend.”
You glanced up to see Johnny quiet and for once, you actually felt safe. As you were about to continue, he stood up from leaning against the desk.
“I dropped out years ago.” Johnny said, jerked his head to the side.
Your assumptions of him were disproved, all at once. Nonetheless, your mind grew curious and wanted answers to why.
Johnny opened up about dropping out to pursue a myriad of jobs, eventually landing himself more experiences than anyone you could think of. It wasn’t easy, of course. People in his life developed grudges because there wasn’t any certainty in his path.
“Must’ve been hard,” Your eyes narrowed.
“But, I got me.” Johnny shrugged. “(y/n), you have so much time on your hands. Just gotta learn how to use it.”
“What should I do?” You asked with an empty look.
“You know what you have to do, (y/n).” Johnny grinned.
It was sundown and with residents leaving, it was just the two of you again. You’ve overstayed your welcome and couldn’t bear facing another day without Mei. You thought it was ludicrous to write to a stranger.
Thanks for everything, Johnny.
Don’t be a stranger, I’ll be at 29 St. C.U.P. id Auditorium @ 5PM tomorrow.
The morning of your graduation comes and needless to say, you should’ve been at the venue, but there you were, standing outside of Mei’s door. With a simple knock, you hear the twist of the knob turn, taking a deep gulp before opening your eyes was all that seemed certain.
“Spare me five minutes?” You asked.
Mei nods her head, still arms crossed and not uttering a word.
“I’m sorry,” You continued. “Just the program itself, but I was never lying to you about who I was.”
If it weren’t for the weekend, you would’ve never gained the strength to apologize to her. But you had arrived here, feeling a lot more secure of yourself.
“C’mere.” Mei pulls you into a tight embrace, arms wrapped around every inch of you as tears cascade down. “You’re gonna figure this out.” She said reassuringly.
After some time, you went home to prepare and as you were getting dressed, your mind wandered off to that weekend. You’d hope he’d show but brushed it off immediately. He’s probably busy, you say to yourself.
The auditorium was a street away and as soon as you stepped inside, it was a different atmosphere. A widely packed audience filled with people’s emotions gushing uncontrollably. Fellow batchmates called for your attention. This isn’t so bad, you thought.
You found your seat by the end of the row as the event began. The crowd grew loud with the heartfelt speeches that the professors and students gave. The time came to line up before the stage and you were growing uneasy.
“Next, (y/n) (l/n)!” The speaker exclaimed.
Your lips start to curl downward, eyeing the diploma. The dean shook your hand and pulled the other to slip the paper in. Unreal. The photographer was gesturing in front of you when your eyes veered from across the crowd, Mei smiling with her thumbs up close to her face.
And with a flash, you’re a fresh graduate. Still feels like pretend except you have the gown and diploma to prove it.
The ceremony ended with tearful goodbyes as trenchers were thrown up into the sky. You rose from your seat when a bouquet of flowers found its way into your arms.
“Excuse me,” Johnny continued. “I think you dropped this!” All dressed in his most comfortable sweater and slacks, accentuating his physique.
No longer fighting away tears, you accept what’s in front of you. “I’m glad you came.” You sniffled.
“No tardies.” Johnny snickered. “But, I’m really proud of you.” He leaned closer, meeting your gaze.
Johnny placed both his hands on your waist and you were expecting a hug, when he picked you up and spun you around. Giggles escape between the two of you.
You weren’t known for taking risks, but you probably wouldn’t be here without it. You start the next chapter of your life with a fresh take in mind.

“y/n,” your professor jogged up to you, the papers in her arms all hugged up towards her chest. “you got time?”
you drank your cup of latte as you turned to face her, sipping the last bit of it before discarding it to the bin close by. “yes ms. lee, what is it?”
“your grades are coming up the ranks, you’re in the top 10.” she fixed her glasses, her smile widening little by little announcing such a news to you. “i see so much improvement compared to when you started back in year one. i’m not being biased but don’t tell anyone you’re one of my favourites of your year.”
assuring, that was what you felt as those words filled your ears and infiltrated down to your heart; causing it to expand around your body in a warm, fuzzy, feeling. like a warm cup of chocolate to tend to the cold weather, it was music to your ears. you may not show it, but you were happy, too happy that you might as well run around the campus.
“thank you, professor.” you smiled, your feet tapping a little too much, to which she noticed.
“you deserve it, y/n.” she patted your arm before shaking it softly, “because of that, you’re already in the dean’s list for this course. congrats.”
now this time you were jumping small hops. “this is amazing! i’m out of words!”
“yeah, if only your parents could see how much you’ve grown.” she said cautiously, knowing about your relationship with them. but you knew it’d come, it was natural to bring up your achievements to your parents.
if only they paid attention.
giving her a nod, you looked down at the mention of your mom and dad. the air slowly tightened, the atmosphere immediately became awkward. “i hope so. uh, i’ll have to go to my part time at the kindergarten. don’t wanna be late.” you somewhat said enthusiastically.
“oh yes, yes. you should get going.” she gestured for you to leave, “i’ll see you at the dean’s camp in two months okay?”
“yeah, see you.”
that was one of the advantages of taking this course, you could have a part time whilst studying. to gain experience, and the other? interacting with little kids. growing up as an only child, you’ve always wanted to have a companion but obviously your parents’ relationship were already in the rocks not too long after you were born.
tapping your card to enter the pre-school, you were greeted by yeri, who was a new part timer and your junior. you held in a laughter when she was struggling to make three of the kids to stop crying. “y/n! thank heavens you’re finally here! a little help please?”
you approached the kids who were throwing fits. “alright, who wants a marshmallow?” you sat in front of them eye to eye level, making all three look at you, hiccupping and sniffing.
“me.” they said in unison.
“okay, then could you help me with something?” you said softly, smiling, but your voice was firm.
“yes.”
“if you stop crying and behave, and help clean up your toys, i’ll give you three marshmallows each.”
the kids immediately stood up, wiping their faces and racing to pick up the toys that were scattered around the classroom. yeri shook her head in amazement, “wow, bribing them with a treat? they never mentioned it in the books.”
“i’m surprised you’ve never thought about that.” you teased, putting your bag away in a staff shelf, just beside yeri’s belongings. “we have until 5pm. who else isn’t here?”
“um.” yeri flipped a notebook, her finger lining the roll call book. “liam and jade.”
“hm,” your finger ran through your chin, “jade i can understand, because they recently moved apartments, they’re still adjusting. but liam? it’s been a few days that he’s been late.”
“maybe his family moved as well?” yeri suggested, making you pull a face. “what? it’s a possibility. and to add, he’s your favorite kid over here, you always ask for the boy.”
“he’s adorable! and he’s a smart kid.” you reasoned out, “look, maybe-“ your phone rang, a notification showed up. yeri looked on your phone so nosily, nearly choking on her water.
“since when did you start using love click?” she coughed, a smile evident on her face.
“since two days ago.. yoohyeon forced me to make one and apparently make out with someone.” you sighed, taking your phone.
yeri’s laughter heard in your ears. “well, she made a right suggestion, you need to date at least once in your life, y/n. so, the app found you a match?”
“yeah, after two days. talk about consistency.” you unlocked your phone, the notification made you want to gag. “‘we have found you a match!’ it says. ugh, i’m disgusted.”
“you scared you’ll date a weird, creepy guy?”
“i’d rather switch to tinder thank you very much.”
the door opened to reveal liam running towards the classroom. “miss y/n, liam here!”
“hi liam!” you put your phone down, walking towards the little boy and knelt in front of him. yeri sighed, then smiling at you. you were a good teacher, but you sure did have favourites.

johnny never expected to look after or raise a child so early in his life. funny how a child could change someone instantly, now he was his whole world. it was like an instinct he was meant to have, sure, the first few weeks were the worst. youngmin would cry every single time he couldn’t drink milk, and obviously, johnny could definitely not provide such skin to skin contact. though his research; he found out that youngmin could start milk formula straight away. most of the time he was a quiet and a happy baby.
now that he was a little bit older, youngmin was vocal in almost about anything. johnny looked through the shelf full of toddler toys, pondering on which theme or gift he’d get for youngmin. most of it were either paw patrol or marvel related, and being the marvel fan he was, johnny set his mind on the superhero team.
taeyong looked at the older boy, a smirk unreadable. “you’re really going all out this year for youngmin’s second birthday.”
“of course man, youngmin was struck by a fever last year that we had to postpone his birthday trip to chicago. on his first birthday.” johnny told him as he ran his hands along the captain america plushies. “and thanks to that, i missed a week full of lectures due to flu and fever.”
“that’s understood. and don’t stress too much about it, the guys and i will be here to help.” taeyong reassured him, knowing that johnny did so much to raise a little boy whilst studying. it amazed him how his friend was able to manage such a tedious task.
“thanks bro, i’m glad-“ his back hit on someone briefly, and he mumbled an apology before continue his conversation, “-that you guys could look after youngmin when i’m busy with projects. my parents lived quite far at the time.”
taeyong brushed his tongue, “you still owe me a couple of bucks for babysitting your kid while you studied for your exams.”
your kid.. johnny still felt jittery whenever youngmin was referred to as his. the feeling just hitting him every now and then, and when did, he was really happy. “hey, i never agreed to pay you.”
taeyong gave a giggle that every mother at the toys’ aisle looked at him as if he came out of a novel. “i know, i know. i was just kidding.”
“come on, let’s just get on with shopping.” johnny shook his head while his friend followed him suit.
the moment you stepped out of the mall, yoohyeon questioned your weird gesture as you walked towards her, your hand rubbing your forehead to soothe the pain from whatever happened earlier.
she sipped on her iced lemon tea, later throwing it away. “okay i know you could be sensitive, but what on earth happened to your forehead?”
you hissed at the sore, stinging feeling. “i’d like to know too. some guy was busy walking backwards while talking to his friend.”
“did he apologise though?” she asked as you both walked towards elevator to the carpark.
“yeah but man that guy really has a strong built.” you shook the bag, “alright, i got my niece’s gifts. we’ve got to get wrapping!”
“how many kid parties are we attending this month?” yoohyeon whined, “i’m getting tired of being your bag holder.”
“can’t help that our past seniors and teachers chose me as their kids’ godmother.” you fixed the items in the paper bags. “i don’t know why they love me so much.”
yoohyeon gasped as if she heard the same self appraisal. “pfft, don’t act humble. you clearly know why you’re the favoured person.”
you giggled, you loved the feeling of being trusted. so you guessed it was normal to be all out, somehow you had to control the spending spree. “there’s still one more party so that’ll be our last item to look for.”
“ugh finally! i could rest my legs from walking the whole day!” yoohyeon smiled, walking ahead of you.
thank goodness you made it home before the thunderstorm came crashing in the city. sitting in front of your study table, you scrolled through youtube to watch some videos. your projects and essays were done, so a leisure time on the net was a way to go to bring your mind out of stress and deadlines.
asmr cooking videos were a favourite, you had learnt to cook by just watching and yoohyeon was probably so spoiled by you.
a knock heard from the door. yoohyeon came out from the bathroom as she brushed her teeth, her wet hair wrapped with a towel. opening the door, yeri stood with her belongings; her face all red, her eyes all puffy, and her clothes soaked from the rain, head to toe.
“oh crap.” she incoherently mumbled. “y/n! your minion’s here!”
“yeri?” you looked by the door, walking towards it. “what happened?” you asked worriedly and took her belongings, giving her space to enter before quickly grabbing a spare towel to keep her from catching a cold. “you’re all soaked.”
“i couldn’t take it anymore, y/n.” she sniffed, “the hate and the backstabbing and all.”
“you must be tired.” wiping her face with the towel. “tell us after you have yourself cleaned.”
you paced around the dorm while giving small little bites on your finger. you knew the rumours that has been going around her. and they weren’t good ones. yoohyeon tapping her foot slightly frustrated, saying that you worried too much and should calm down.
calming down was an option you considered. worrying was a trait you wished you never entertained or had. it all started back at home, when all that worrying in your head would become reality if you see either your mom or dad leaving with a luggage in hand.
yeri was sure taking her time in there, and it was quiet.. too quiet that yoohyeon and yourself looked at each other. yoohyeon knocked on the door, calling her name out as you took the spare keys.
the door flung open and the both of you see yeri laying on floor as if she passed out. yoohyeon squealed in shock while you remained calm, checking for any injuries. to your relief, there weren’t any so you proceeded feeling her heartbeat, it slowly beating under your fingers. she must’ve fainted from exhaustion, you thought. you asked yoohyeon to call an ambulance, them arrving in five minutes.
it was about five in the afternoon when yeri woke up, blinking quickly when she saw you seated beside her. tearing up, she apologised for being a nuisance.
“you were never a nuisance, yeri.” you patted her head, “what’s really going on?”
yeri bubbled her cheeks, her eyes darting across the room. “my roommates jennifer and others set me up with this guy- mark lee, the transferee from vancouver. they told me he liked me, and said that he was waiting for me at the rooftop.” you nodded as she continued, “he was there, and i was too excited that i told him that i liked him as well. he was puzzled and left, and then my roommates were watching the whole time while taking a video, laughing.”
you scoffed, “who are these girls? imma give them a lesson or two if they need any.”
“no. you don’t want to mess with them, their families are big names around here. it’ll be messy if you get involved.”
“okay, in the meantime you can stay in my dorm until we find you a new one.” you smiled, patting her head once again, “i have to get going, got dinner to make. you rest well for the night, okay?”
yeri waved with a small smile before the door slid close, fading away as you were out of sight. she sighed, reaching for her phone in her bag. she wanted to tell you more about her life in university. how it wasn’t as fun as she thought it’d be. she was about to shoot you a text message when the door slid open again.
this time, it wasn’t you. but she was happy to see this certain person, it had been a while since they’ve hung out.
“i heard the nurses call your name when i stopped by to submit some health records.” he said, taking his cap off and hanging it on the clothes rack nearby. “what happened?”
yeri smiled from ear to ear. “johnny! i’m glad you’re here. i just had a concussion when i visited my senior. she brought me here.”
“well i gotta thank her when i see her then.” johnny patted her head and her eyes widened as her skin turned a little pink. this little expression caught johnny’s attention. “what’s with your face?”
“uh..” she looked away, her lips pressed into a thin line. she did the same thing before she left. “oh! i know! i’ll set you guys both up! you’ve broken up with minji right?”
johnny flared his nose and snickered, “yeah and where’d you hear that from?”
“lucas.”
“and where did lucas hear that from?” he asked before he and yeri answered the same time.
“jungwoo.”
“jungwoo.”
they both laughed for a minute and johnny immediately felt bad for leaving early when he just got here. “sorry yeri, i have to take my leave, youngmin’s at my parents place and i have to bring him home to the dorms for dinner.”
“it’s alright, you haven’t been bringing him to uni lately. i miss that little cutie.” yeri smiled, already shooing him away.
“he started playgroup lately. he’s a busy kid now.” he chuckled. “oh be there for youngmin’s second birthday! at the mom and dad’s home.” he handed her an invitation and her eyes lit up.
“great! i’ll be there.”
—
you stared at your phone back and forth while having breakfast with yoohyeon in the morning. your foot placed on the chair while eating your omelette with bacon and kimchi fried rice, yoohyeon curled her tongue and held in a laugh.
“can’t you stay put y/n?” she chewed in between words, “what are you glancing back and forth of your phone for?”
“this app you told me to download and try doesn’t work, does it?” yoohyeon’s eyes grew wide hearing those words from you. you didn’t show any interest after she had told you about it, and to see this unleash before her eyes was something new to her. “it says they’ve found me a match but it’s been two weeks and nothing’s happened.”
“oh honey you gotta check if you accepted it. it’s kinda like a friend request.”
raising your brows, “maybe the person didn’t accept it too.” you checked on the match this ridiculous app paired you with, yoohyeon asking the information of your possible partner. “i don’t know.. what if this person is a creep?”
yoohyeon by now didn’t even bother counting the times she rolled her eyes at you, chewing so unladylike before putting down her bowl, “here lemme see.” showing you the plus button to accept the match.
“now that you’ve done it, i’m actually creeped out.” staring at the username, you didnt’t really know what to feel. maybe it was the right time to start searching, your university years would finish two summers later and yoohyeon would tease you about it and you’d probably won’t hear the end of it either.
“so which one of your godchildrens’ birthdays are we going to first? i’m only in it for the food and gossips.”
“i swear you’re gonna be that annoying auntie who’d pester the kids.” you laughed, checking your schedule on your desktop, “let’s see, gotta attend kahi-unnie’s son’s birthday and we’ll go from there onwards. goodness, they’re all on the same day.”
you were thankful that yoohyeon accompanied you to buy gifts for your godchildren but wanted to strangle her for leaving you behind with a huge gift. a step forward you almost tripped when a hand grabbed your arm.
“oh minhyun,” you jumped a little in surprise, seeing him smiling at you then shaking his head at his girlfriend’s figure walking towards the party.
minhyun just smiled at you before letting your hand go and carried the big, yellow wrapped gift. “that’s minhyun-oppa for you.”
you groaned and chuckled, “i don’t want to call you that, it’s corny.”
he clicked his tongue hearing your response, “you’re like a little sister so you got no choice, y/n.”
you started to walk to kahi’s house with minhyun, “tell yoohyeon she owes me a ramen dinner.” seeing kahi waving at you in joy.
“having too much ramen isn’t healthy, lil sis!” you rolled your eyes at his constant reminder.
“auntie y/n!” kahi’s 4 year old son, noah, hugged your legs before letting out a high pitched squeal, seeing his gift double his size, “is that mine?!”
you ruffled his head and knelt down to his eye level, “yes it is! but, you can open it once the party is finished.” he gave you a pout so hilariously funny before walking backwards with his arms crossed. you turned to kahi only to realize she was pregnant.
“oh- wow, noah seems to want another playmate. congrats!”
“baby number 3.” she winked, “i hope it’s a girl this time.”
the party was decorated with colourful balloons and streamers of blue and white, stripes were the accent, anchored plushies for little chair cushions, and sailor hats were used in exchange for traditional coned ones.
kahi really went out this time, given with the fact she was busy at work for noah’s previous birthdays. being a co-owner of a performing arts center sure took most of her time. and now that she was on maternity leave, she’d spend it more with her sons.
she excused herself while she tended to other guests of the party, so you chose to walk around the area to admire the scenery.
you inhaled the fresh breeze that greeted you with serenity, it has been a while since you encountered this kind of peace. it wrapped you figure in a hug you wished you had before. it was cool; yet it was gentle, contrary to the gushing storm you had back home.
sometimes you unconsiously wondered how your parents were, but you brushed it off before it ruined your mood. spotting a fruit punch section, you decided to cool your mind even further while the heat started to prick your skin.
you wanted to squeal in joy when the mixture of bright fruits zapped up together with light alcohol- the tanginess from pineapples and passionfruits, the sweetness from mangoes, and zesty lemons and oranges were a sweet wake up call.
though that caught your attention in your tastebuds, something else diverted that. a tug from below the table made you look down, it was a toddler’s hand gripping your favorite floral dress.
ah, my heart’s melting, you thought.
you didn’t know why but he made you smile like an idiot.. this baby was cute, too cute he looked up at you and showed off his growing bunny teeth.
“hey there little cutie. what are you doing under the table?” you asked him, bending down to see him eating a bite-sized donut. “afraid of too many people?”
the toddler just hummed, as if he understood clearly. well, you couldn’t tell how old he was because he was rather big. maybe two and half years old? you weren’t sure. you peeked around to see if his parents were looking for him, but none, much to your dismay.
you didn’t want to leave him alone, so you gestured for him to follow you towards the open balcony. only to have your heart melted even more when he reached both of his hands to you, asking for a carry.
“oh.” you smiled and picked him up as he rubbed his eyes. “aw, you tired buddy? where’s your mom and dad?”
it wasn’t quite audible for you to hear but the kid mumbled a lot, it was adorable. fortunately, he liked the sun and slept in your embrace in a jiffy, nuzzling his little face on your shoulder.
johnny could barely escape the doting mothers and single ladies of his senior’s friends. they asked him so many questions about his personal life when he probably repeated several variations of the same answers.
he finally could get a breather after he politely excused himself from the crowd, not forgetting that he didn’t come to the party alone. he sighed a bit tiredly until he saw fruit punch on the table, thinking he could relax a little after a drink.
the sun greeted him brightly that he used his forearm to shield his eyes from its rays. if the sun wasn’t so bright, he probably could make out what he was seeing in front of him quicker before his heart garnered him stunned:
it was a faint sihouette of a young lady whose back was facing him, carrying youngmin gently as she cradled him to sleep.

ACCORDING TO SOCRATES, YOU WERE POISON TO A STUDENT ATHLETE.
The so-called Socrates in question, named Zhong Chenle, had once told you that if he wasn’t your best friend, he would hate your guts. In the sports world, jocks and journalists didn’t seem to get along very well. Flattered, you responded to your dear friend with your middle finger.
Chenle considered himself real smart, even going as far as to compare himself to one of the greatest philosophers (hence, the nickname Socrates you deemed upon him). Yet, with this vast amount of supposed intelligence, your best friend still couldn’t seem to figure out why you were hovering around Johnny Suh like a fruit fly.
“He knows about the steroid scandal,” you explained calmly. “I just want to find out what he’s hiding.”
Zhong Chenle’s brain decided to translate this into: “I am madly in love with Johnny Suh,” so now, your stupid best friend was convinced that you had the biggest crush on the basketball team’s captain.
In his dreams. In fact, you loathed the school’s basketball team.
This burning hatred wasn’t fueled by childish reasons such as a dislike for the sport or the players themselves. The truth was, you loved sports; you even ran the sports page of your university’s newspaper, sweeping several awards for your investigative pieces and page layouts. Your grudge against the basketball team solely laid in the fact that they were overfunded.
This wasn’t a complete surprise to you. Schools tended to prioritize their sports teams over other clubs and facilities. The football team always got new equipment over the art club getting new paints; the gym always got renovated instead of the school’s orchestra getting a bigger auditorium; and the basketball team always got the funding that the school newspaper was supposed to get.
Worst of all, the sports page was getting dry. You weren’t getting anything worth reporting on other than reporting wins. A few years ago, the sports teams ran into all sorts of scandals that you could report on. Now, you couldn’t find any leads on anything remotely interesting.
Until you ran into Johnny Suh.
“Chenle, I’m not even joking,” Johnny whispered to his friend in the empty hallway. Classes were ongoing and they were hanging around during the free hours in their schedule. “I know he’s juicing. I saw it with my own eyes.”
Juicing. You were too stunned to move. Someone on the team was using steroids?
You thanked not only God but Chenle for letting you overhear this conversation.
Your friend wore a grim expression on his face. “What if he gets caught?”
“Then he’s definitely getting booted,” Johnny replied with a scoff. “What a shame. He used to be one of the best players.”
Chenle snorted. “Yeah, when he’s hopped up on steroids, apparently.”
You took a step back, moving so your back was pressed against the wall. Although you were sure they wouldn’t be able to see you, a part of you still felt exposed. Still, this was the biggest scoop of the year. If you published a piece on one of the best athletes in schools caught using steroids, everyone would eat it up.
The question was who was injecting steroids? And, more importantly, who would admit that on record to you?
There were plenty of great athletes in school: Johnny Suh was the star of the basketball team, Jung Sungchan was the Michael Phelps of the swim team, and Qian Kun was the ace of the football team. You couldn’t imagine any of them possibly using performance drugs, but you couldn’t rule anyone out just because of your own assumptions. However, your suspicions were strong on the basketball team since Johnny happened to see the person.
You had no other choice; you had to suck up to Johnny to get him to cough something valuable up. When you approached Chenle later, he refused to budge. You figured if your best friend wouldn’t tell you, it had to be something big.
“I can’t believe you heard us.” Chenle groaned, tugging a hand through his hair. “This must be how Kim Kardashian felt when her sex tape got leaked.”
You made a face. “I don’t think that’s the same thing.”
Later, you pulled out your phone and called your best friend and Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper, Huang Renjun. You were positive he would be all for you pursuing the piece of information you overheard. It had been a long time since something interesting happened in the sports scene, after all. They were always covering up their problems behind administration before word got around to the newspaper.
“Renjun,” you whispered into the phone when he picked up. “I have the biggest scoop.”
“Why are you whispering?” Renjun asked. “Also, I’m in the middle of class right now.”
You frowned. “Why are you picking up the phone in the middle of class? You know what? I’ll talk to you about it in detail when you’re free.”
“Sure,” Renjun replied. “Meet me at the library at seven.”
You agreed and hung up. Ever since Renjun secured an internship for a company he had been dreaming to work at, he was less hard on himself about his workload. From the time you met him in your first year, he had always been putting 110% into everything he did and signing up for anything that was remotely interesting. Once he narrowed his interests down, he worked his way to becoming the Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper in only a year.
Ever since he appointed you as the head of the sports section, you took it upon yourself to create content that would make Renjun proud. He had worked so hard to pull the newspaper together that you refused to let it go downhill.
You would even fraternize with Johnny Suh if you had to.
“Johnny!” you called out to the senior when you knew Chenle wasn’t around. Your friend was getting lunch with Mark Lee, so you could snoop for answers to your heart’s content. “You’re Johnny Suh from the basketball team, right?”
The elder stiffened up. “You’re Y/N from the school newspaper, aren’t you?”
Apparently, your reputation preceded you, although you had no idea how Johnny Suh knew you.
“You’ve heard of me?” you asked.
“Yeah, you’re Chenle’s friend,” he replied, and you nearly breathed out a sigh of relief until he continued, “The nosy reporter.”
Of course.
“Nosy reporter?” you repeated, the words bitter on your tongue. “That’s just rude and not true at—”
“So you’re not here to ask me about something?” Johnny cut in, an amused look on his face. “Something about an article?”
You faltered for a moment, struggling for words as you stammered, “Well, um… you see—”
Yet again, Johnny Suh cut you off, and you started to have a feeling he was notorious for this. “I gotta bounce. If you really wanna talk, I’ll be at Kunhang’s party tonight.”
Before you could respond, Johnny walked off without giving you any answers. Hell, he didn’t even listen to what you wanted to ask about. With a frustrated sigh, you dialed your best friend’s number. You didn’t have a problem with going to Kunhang’s party, and you were sure Chenle would help you get in if you asked, but it almost felt like Johnny was sending you on a wild goose chase. Although, you supposed you were left with no other choice.
When Chenle picked up your call, you asked, “Can I be your plus one to Kunhang’s party?”
“So,” Renjun started, his tone bordering between concerned and intrigued, “is there a reason why you showed up to the library in stilettos?”
“Because I just enjoy breaking my ankles, Renjun,” you replied, tone laced with sarcasm. “No, I’m heading to a party right after this. Chenle’s gonna pick me up in ten minutes.”
Renjun raised a brow. “I feel like this has something to do with the story you were telling me about earlier.”
Your eyes sparkled at the mention, sliding into the seat next to Renjun. He put down his pencil to give you his undivided attention, especially since you looked so excited to share. It was true; you were over-the-moon because you found something to write about that wasn’t the basketball team winning or losing a game.
“An athlete on one of our school’s teams is using steroids,” you whispered, “and I think it’s someone on the basketball team because I overheard Johnny Suh talking about it.”
Renjun looked like he had forgotten all involuntary movements and was manually blinking. He took a minute to process what you had just told him and raised his brows.
“Goddamn,” he said, impressed. “If you can get proof of that, then that could be cover-worthy.” He gave you a once-over and chuckled. “Good luck getting it out of Johnny Suh.”
You frowned. “What do you mean good luck?”
Renjun snickered, leaning back in his seat and swiveling to face you. “I’m just saying, Johnny’s a tough nut to crack. He made my brain do mental gymnastics when I was trying to ask him about the basketball team pranking the other school.” Renjun seemed to shudder at the memory. “All I asked was if he was part of it, and then he started grilling me.”
You recalled the situation all too well. Both sports teams were feuding over something trivial—something about who had the better mascot—and apparently, one team stole the other team’s flag and painted their school’s colors on it. You found the whole story silly, but it drew negative responses from the faculty.
“I think I can get to him,” you replied confidently, standing up and adjusting your purse strap. “Wish me luck.”
“Good luck,” Renjun called out to you before you turned on your heel to walk away. As he watched your figure turn around the corner, he let out a soft sigh. “You’re gonna need it.”
Chenle was wary of your intentions for coming to the party. He eyed you suspiciously the entire car ride, but you snapped when he gave your outfit a once-over. You supposed silhouettes weren’t the ideal footwear, but they looked cute even though you were just wearing jeans and a tank top.
“What’s your deal?” you asked.
“What’s yours?” Chenle fired back. “You didn’t even want to come earlier. Did Johnny tell you to come? Y/N, I swear, if I see you guys making out in some corner, I’m bleaching my eyes immediately.”
“Okay, there will be no making out!” you interjected, gagging at the image that popped in your head. Well, it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world, but snogging your best friend’s best friend sounded too messy. “And quit eyeing my heels. I just wanted to feel powerful.”
“I’m just saying this right now,” Chenle started, “Kunhang’s house might look all fancy, but you’re gonna regret it if you end up walking around barefoot.”
“Noted. Thanks.”
Kunhang’s house was nothing like you had expected prior to Chenle’s comment. You had braced yourself to see something along the lines of a grimy frat house being packed with drunk, sweaty teenagers. The reality was that Kunhang owned a really nice house, and watching people puke onto his perfectly manicured front lawn made you cringe a little.
The music was too loud for you to hear Chenle, so he shouted over the noise, “I’m gonna find Mark! Wanna come with?”
You considered this, but being away from your best friend was the perfect opportunity for you to corner Johnny. Plus, Mark Lee was a mess when he was drunk, and you weren’t sure if you wanted to witness that.
You got on your toes to speak in Chenle’s ear, “You go on ahead. I’ll go get a drink.”
As you watched Chenle head off to find his friend, you heard a deep voice croon in your ear, “Looking for me?”
You immediately recognized Johnny’s voice, shuddering at how his breath tickled the skin under your earlobe. A cold shiver ran down your spine once you realized just how close he was, and you turned to face him and put some distance between you two. You always thought he was attractive, but he looked incredible tonight. The loose-fitted shirt he left unbuttoned was doing wonders.
“Oh, hey,” you greeted stiffly. “Yeah, I was looking for you. Come get a drink with me?”
“You’re so direct. It’s kinda hot,” Johnny observed. He seemed to mull over your request, which was odd to you because you had never met any guy at a party who turned down a drink. “A drink—no can do! I’m playing cup pong in a few.”
“Then, I’ll just go—”
“Unless,” he started, “you be my partner.”
You frowned. “Excuse me?”
“For cup pong,” Johnny clarified, his lazy smirk taunting you. “Play cup pong with me and I’ll answer any question you want, and I’ll get a drink with you. If my aim sucks after this, though, I’m blaming it on you.”
That seemed like a fair enough deal. However, you weren’t sure if Johnny and you were on the same page. He didn’t seem to realize that you were looking into the steroid case, but you hoped he was willing to follow through with your agreement.
When you nodded, Johnny followed you to where all the drinks were laid out. Half the bottles were nearly empty and the others were only half-full. You pulled out a red dixie cup from the bag and inspected it carefully; part of you didn’t trust these frat boys to distribute anything hygienic.
When you handed your cup to Johnny, you were caught off guard by the sharp glare he sent your way.
“Don’t ever let other people pour your drinks for you!” he scolded. “They could lace them!”
Johnny was practically yelling over the music, and you were sure every frat boy in the room had heard him loud and clear. You didn’t even have to worry about your drink getting spiked anymore because no one in their right mind would try with the D-1 athlete stationed at your side.
“If ice sinky, don’t drinky,” were the very wise words of Johnny Suh. “If bubbles last for infinity, they want your virginity.” You looked up at him, somewhat impressed with the mnemonic he created. When you thought he was done, he continued, “If the drink is foggy, then it’s dodgy.”
“Wow,” you praised dully. “You’re so good at this. It’s almost concerning.”
“If you see the color change, get out of range—”
“Okay, yes, thank you, Rupi Kaur,” you interrupted, holding up a hand to silence the captain. “Understood. I’ll pour my own drinks and I won’t leave them unattended.”
Johnny grinned. “Good girl.”
You weren’t one for pet names, but Johnny Suh calling you good girl had you feeling some sort of way. He clearly saw how it affected you, but you turned away before he could make any comment about it. Observing the line of drinks, you selected the one with the most alcohol left in the bottle.
Johnny grimaced when he watched you eyeball your shot and then down it almost immediately. It was not smooth going down, and you felt like your esophagus was on fire. You coughed repeatedly, hitting your chest while it burned.
“There was a lot of alcohol left for a reason,” Johnny said. “That was Fireball.”
“Never again,” you vowed in a hoarse voice.
Johnny chuckled and downed his shot of tequila, showing little to no reaction. It was almost funny how he was the complete opposite of Chenle. Once, your best friend took a shot of whiskey and passed out on the floor of your living room. Since then, he received the nickname “one-shot wonder,” courtesy of you and Park Jisung.
“Come on, babe.” Johnny grabbed both your shoulders and steered you in the direction of a ping pong table crowded by pretty sorority girls. “You’re helping me win the gold.”
“The gold?” you asked. “There’s actually a prize?”
“Yes ma’am,” he replied cheerily. “A goldfish.”
“A goldfish? That’s so la—” You cut yourself off when you saw the large orange fish swimming around a small bowl. Your eyes zeroed in on the aquatic creature. “I want it.”
“That’s the spirit!” Johnny cheered as he moved you to one end of the table and stood behind you. Across from you were Wong Kunhang and his best friend, Liu Yangyang. Johnny pointed a finger at them. “Kunhang, Yangyang, we’re kicking your asses tonight.”
Yangyang snorted. “As if.”
“You don’t even go here, Yangyang,” you sneered. Yangyang and you had never officially introduced yourselves to each other, but you ran into him a couple of times when you were in charge of taking pictures for basketball games. “I wouldn’t get too confident on someone else’s turf.”
“We’ll see about that, Sherlock Holmes,” Yangyang taunted.
“God, you’re just so popular, aren’t you?” Johnny teased you, his hand coming to pinch your side. You yelped, looking up at him with wide, bewildered eyes. “I’m gonna have to mark you up before someone takes you away.”
Your cheeks burned at Johnny’s comment, but thankfully, Kunhang spoke up before you were able to respond. “Alright, let’s get started already,” he said with a grin. “Ladies first?”
You hated feeding into sexism, but you also liked going first, so you took the ping pong ball from Kunhang.
It had been a while since you played actual cup pong, but you had plenty of practice on Game Pigeon, so it couldn’t be all that different. You were proud to say that you had beaten Jisung at virtual cup pong about twelve times in a row, so you could say that you were prepared to win. Playing against two basketball players was definitely unnerving, though.
You squinted, trying to aim the ball at one of the cups toward the back, and you flicked your wrist. Part of you was glad that Johnny wasn’t being overbearing by trying to show you the proper techniques; you wanted to do this your way. Thankfully, the ball followed a perfect curve into one of the middle cups in the back row.
“That’s my girl!” Johnny cheered, slamming his hand on the edge of the table and knocking a few of your own cups over. “Oops, my bad.”
The rest of the game continued smoothly, getting tense toward the end when both teams only had one cup left. You were sure that Kunhang would get the ball in yours, but it rolled off the rim and caused Yangyang to cry out in dismay. Johnny managed to save your game by expertly throwing the ping pong ball into their cup.
You both won the fish.
You had never felt so alive.
You cheered loudly, throwing yourself into Johnny’s arms in a moment of pure ecstasy. He laughed and grabbed your waist, a little startled and taken aback by your bold move. It took you a second to realize how close you were to Johnny and what you just did to him. While Yangyang and Kunhang were mourning the loss of your newly-won fish, you and Johnny were staring into each other’s eyes—a little transfixed, a little lustful.
You broke apart, turning around and ignoring the fact that the way Johnny’s jeans hugged his thighs was so sinful. Instead, you retrieved your prize from Kunhang, admiring your new fish swimming around in its bowl. You smiled fondly and turned to Johnny.
“What should we name it?” you asked.
“You go ahead and name it. I’m sure whatever name you choose will be perfect.” He bent down for a closer look. “I think she’s a girl. Females have rounder bodies.”
You hummed for a moment. “Let’s name her Ursula.”
Johnny snorted almost instantly. “God, that’s a terrible name.”
“I thought you said anything I chose would be perfect!”
“Yes, well, I said that before you went ahead and chose an ugly name,” Johnny replied with a scoff, “but I like it. Ursula has character.” You weren’t very convinced, but you decided that was the nicest thing he’d say about it.
You raised a brow at him, slightly offended. “Also, don’t think I forgot about our deal. I still want my answers.”
A slow grin spread across Johnny’s face before he spoke, “I haven’t forgotten either. Let’s go upstairs, unless you prefer a quieter setting.”
“Well, it’s not exactly a conversation I’d want people walking in on,” you said.
Johnny was definitely misunderstanding your intentions, but oddly enough, you weren’t sure you minded him having his way with you. You weren’t sure if it was the atmosphere or the way he was looking at you, but you were longing for him right now. However, Johnny drank most of your shots from cup pong, so you didn’t think it was a good idea for him to drive while under the influence.
“My place then?” Johnny suggested, the corner of his lip hitching up. “It’s within walking distance.”
“Fine,” you agreed, “but I’m bringing Ursula too, so don’t walk too fast.”
You were reassured knowing Jisung was at home and sober in case Chenle needed a ride back. Plus, you figured Chenle would crash at Kunhang’s place with Mark, anyway. Still, you sent him a heads-up so that he wouldn’t have to worry about you.
you: hey sooo i don’t think i’ll need a ride back
lele: you’re with johnny aren’t you
you: :]
lele: no worries i won't be able to see the road after i bleach my eyes anyway
you: muah muah <3
lele: use protection
You snorted at Chenle’s text, reacting with a thumbs up before putting your phone away. To your surprise, Johnny was tame for the entire walk home. He engaged in civil conversation, acting as if you were just two friends catching up. You were surprised at how easy it was to get along with him; he had something to say about every single thing you mentioned, from complimenting your interests to showing interest in your goals and aspirations.
By the time you were nearing Johnny’s apartment, you were almost certain that he had completely forgotten about wanting to hook up with you. He was being so casual that you assumed he would just keep things friendly.
Oh, how terribly wrong you were.
The moment you stepped inside Johnny’s apartment, he swiftly pinned you to the door, reaching over to lock it once it closed. You gasped and held your hand over the fish bowl to keep it from spilling over.
“Ready for our interview?” Johnny asked, voice all light and cheery. His confidence almost made it seem like he was the one interviewing you.
After helping you set Ursula’s fish bowl on his coffee table, Johnny led you in the direction of his room. Your head was so clouded that you forgot all the questions that were buzzing in your head. Renjun would surely kill you if you were sleeping with your suspect instead of grilling him, but you couldn’t find it in you to care.
“Nice poster,” you complimented once you were in Johnny’s room, relieved by how much cleaner it was compared to the rooms in the frat house. “I didn’t peg you as someone who liked AC/DC.”
“I didn’t peg you as someone who knew AC/DC,” Johnny replied with a grin, pulling you down to straddle his lap once he sat down. You shifted a little to get comfortable, heart thundering in your chest when his hands dropped to your hips. “Maybe we should get to know each other more.”
You pouted. “But my interview…”
“Go ahead and ask your questions,” he said, grabbing your hips a little tighter to move you higher on one of his thighs. His voice dropped by an octave when he murmured, “But I want you to ride my thigh while you do.”
Dirty talk never turned you on unless you were in the mood, and no guy had ever been able to woo the pants right off you. However, Johnny’s words burned deep into your core, making you shudder and start rolling your hips against his muscle on his command. You wrapped your arms around his neck while he guided your hips slowly, lips attaching to your collarbone to press slow, open-mouthed kisses.
“So shameless,” he growled, breath hot against your skin. “Coming all the way to my bedroom and getting fucked just for an interview.” You could feel his smirk grow on your neck. “You reporters are something else.”
“Yeah?” you breathed out. “You’re the one hitting on one.”
Johnny hummed against your skin, making you whine when the kisses stopped. “Take off your jeans.”
“Is someone on the basketball team using steroids?” you blurted out.
Johnny stilled at the sudden question, leaning back to make sure you were dead serious. When he saw your stony expression, he let out a short bark of laughter, eyes full of disbelief. Despite his shock, he didn’t stop his slow, torturous movements, dragging your hips along his thigh. You had to bite your lip to keep yourself from moaning and to keep a steel gaze on Johnny.
“Where’d you get steroids from?” he asked, tugging down the zipper of your jeans but keeping his eyes fixed on you.
“I heard you talking to Chenle,” you explained. “You said something about seeing someone juicing.”
Johnny chuckled, hanging his head. You thought he was going to give up and spill everything, but he started laughing instead. “First of all, this is all off the record.”
You raised a brow at him, impressed. Not many people who weren’t interested in journalism knew of the terminology.
“Even if someone was using steroids, what’s it to you?” he continued. You stiffened and Johnny pulled your weight down on his thigh more firmly, rousing a whimper from your lips. He cooed, “Don’t get so serious, Y/N.”
“Why won’t you tell me what you know?” you complained. “I need a good article.”
“And you’ll get one,” he mumbled, voice velvety and smooth, “but some things are better left unsaid.”
“I’m still gonna get that interview in the morning,” you muttered.
“Sure you will.”
Your hand curled into Johnny’s hair when he started pressing kisses to your neck again. He snaked his hand down the front of your pants, chuckling against your skin when you squirmed under his hand.
“Easy,” he mumbled. “Is it okay if I touch you here?”
You nodded, encouraging Johnny to keep palming you, but questioned, “Shouldn’t you ask that before you touch me there?”
“Let’s cover all the bases right now then,” he said. “How far do you wanna go and when should I stop?”
You were glad you were having this conversation with Johnny, but after being tormented by his slow ministrations, you were at your limit. “Johnny, just fuck me already,” you whined. “I better not be able to walk tomorrow morning.”
Johnny’s mouth parted in surprise, but it slowly morphed into a smirk before he leaned in and sealed his lips over yours. You were taken aback at first, but you placed your hands on his shoulders and kissed him back, sighing blissfully when you two fell into a steady rhythm.
It grew more intense, but you wanted more. His tongue was doing wonders in your mouth, and you could only imagine how the rest of his performance would be. Johnny pulled your body infinitely closer, and you suddenly remembered your earlier conversation with Chenle about fucking his best friend. You grimaced, but the moment Johnny’s hands ran down your back, all abstinence was launched aside.
When you felt Johnny’s hands grip your ass, you couldn’t stop the broken whimper in your throat. For the basketball player, it was a knee-jerk reaction; he yanked his body back, heavy pants from his lips as he took a moment to open his eyes and look at you.
Johnny almost looked like he was in a trance when he maneuvered you, getting you off his lap and pushing you back onto his bed. He situated himself in the space between your thighs, hands positioned on either side of you.
“You know,” he started, heavy and hot breaths warming your skin, “you’re really cute, but let’s see how good you taste.”
“Is this a good idea?” you asked before he could pounce. “I mean, with Chenle being our mutual friend and everything.”
“Oh, no, this is definitely a terrible idea.” Johnny’s words unnerved you, but his tone was so cheery that you were thrown in for a loop. “But you’re too hot for me to care about what Chenle thinks about us together.”
“Fair enough.”
His hands moved down from your hips, gliding across your skin until they were gripping your knees. First, he peeled off your shirt, pressing slow kisses to the swell of your breasts. You sucked in your bottom lip when he removed your pants, then your underwear, teasing it down your ankles and chuckling at how wet you were. You were almost mortified by how slow he was going, but Johnny only smirked as he rubbed slow circles into your thigh.
Then, he was between your legs, leering at your exposed cunt. Being so vulnerable in front of someone was terrifying, and you wanted to turn and hide away at first. After you sensed no judgement in his eyes, laying bare in front of Johnny wasn’t all that overwhelming. In fact, you felt rather comfortable being nude in front of him.
One slow, languid lick along your folds was enough to make you start squirming. Johnny’s teasing was so lewd and torturous, but you knew he was only messing with you so that he could hear you moan and whimper. Eventually, you gave into his request when he skillfully circled his tongue around your clit, pressing a slow kiss to the hood.
“G-god, Johnny,” you stuttered out, an edge of frustration to your words at how unbearably slow he was going.
He chuckled, and the sound vibrated through your core. “Patience, doll.”
He started to lap at your folds, assisting by using his thumb to rub slow circles on your clit. He had to use his body weight to force your hips down, punishing you with a slower rhythm whenever you would cry out and buck your hips. He was building up the anticipation a little too well—so well that you were starting to forget why you were here in the first place.
Forget that. You didn’t even want to know. You were so tangled up and woven in Johnny that you only wanted to fall deeper.
You never thought about having a kink, but you were starting to rethink whether you had a praise kink or not when Johnny started murmuring things like “you’re doing so good” and “you’re so pretty.” When his words of affirmation got even dirtier, you were done for.
You were taken by surprise when Johnny jammed his tongue into your cunt. He had been teasing it along your entrance, and now he was abusing your poor clit with his fingers and eating you out like there was no tomorrow. You thought scenarios like these were reserved for porn films, but you were arching your back and squirming wildly under him. Each moan from your lips only encouraged Johnny further, inspiring him to slip a finger alongside his tongue.
Your legs started to shake by this point. You could feel the warmth building up under your skin, spreading across your body. As if Johnny could perceive your building orgasms himself, he pulled away with a cocky smirk on his lips.
You frowned. “Are you—”
You were cut short when you saw him get on his knees to unbuckle his pants. From your angle, Johnny looked breathtaking with his hair falling into his face and his eyes darkening out of pure lust. You nearly choked when you saw how huge his bulge looked through his boxers. It should really be illegal to pack that much.
“Ready for my cock?” he asked, an amused lilt to his voice. “Or are you too busy enjoying the view?”
When he tugged his boxers down, revealing his girth in full glory, you swore you were going to pass out after this was over. He was way too big. You had no idea how all of him would fit inside you.
“Go ahead,” you said, tugging at his shirt to pull him down again. You were desperate to run your hands through his hair—anything to feel grounded.
You let out a stuttering breath when you felt Johnny’s cock slide into your wet cunt. Your walls were clenching at the intrusion, and Johnny couldn’t even fit his entire length in until you adjusted to his size. You were blinking away stars while digging your nails into his shoulders. Johnny’s lips were so dangerously close to yours, but he was enjoying your reactions more.
When your walls started to ease up on him, Johnny started to pound into you. Slow thrusts that morphed into quicker, sharper ones. He was reaching places you had never discovered yourself, and the sensation left you with toe-curling, back-arching pleasure.
“J-Johnny,” you breathed out, one hand holding onto his shoulder for dear life and the other tracing his jaw. “You feel so good.”
His cock throbbed inside you, making you cry out a little before Johnny sealed his lips over yours in a fit of passion. He let go of your waist to rub your clit in slow circles, bringing you to the rim of your orgasm again. This time, with his cock sliding over your g-spot and his finger working on your sensitive ball of nerves, the warning felt more intense.
“Almost there,” you gasped, pulling away from his lips so you could throw your head back and let the feeling wash over you. Your legs started to shake again, and the pleasure crashed over you.
His movements were earth-shattering. This was how supernovas began. This was how stars exploded and died.
“Fuck,” Johnny growled, punctuating his words with a sharp thrust.
You came undone in his arms, eyes closing shut and lips framing a loud moan that you later realized was Johnny’s name. It sounded so raw and foreign—a sound you never thought could be produced from your throat. You were still stuck in your wave of pleasure, being thrown about while Johnny kept fucking you through it. He wanted you to get as much as you could out of your orgasm. You felt like you were drowning for a long time, consumed by nothing but how good you felt.
Johnny grunted and pulled out to cum over your stomach. You could barely register it, still recovering from your mind-blowing orgasm. You had to reorient yourself, so you just stared at the ceiling, a faraway look in your eyes as you caught your breath.
“Damn,” Johnny finally said, voice spent and heavy. He was looking down in awe before he met your eyes. “I’m bringing you to the next water gun fight.”
Only then did you realize you squirted. You were so caught up in your pleasure that you didn’t realize your cum had shot all over Johnny’s thigh.
Either way, the water gun comment was absolutely foul.
“I was gonna tell you how good you were,” you said, starting to laugh, “but you just turned me off so fast.”
“Forgive me, my Swiffer WetJet.”
“Okay, that was my last straw.”
Johnny was, at heart, a gentleman.
He cleaned you up after you two went at it a second time, and then let you wear one of his sweaters to bed. (He even offered to pay for your now-ruined underwear, but you declined). You slept like a baby that night, and you weren’t sure if it was because you were nestled in Johnny’s arms, but it definitely helped that he spooned you.
In the morning, Johnny made you breakfast. You got to choose between chocolate chip or blueberry pancakes. You eventually settled with chocolate chip because chocolate, to your knowledge, was an aphrodisiac.
(You didn’t end up fucking Johnny after that, though, so maybe choosing chocolate was a miscalculation.)
You wondered if Johnny was this hospitable to all of his hookups. If this was the treatment one received from screwing around with Johnny Suh, then you were tempted to go back for more.
“How good was I last night?” Johnny asked before he was about to drop you off. “You were staring at my cock for so long.”
You snorted. “I was just thinking about how it was like fitting a USB cable into an iPhone port.”
This got a laugh out of him along with plenty more kisses. You were pleasantly surprised with how passionate Johnny Suh was. It completely shattered the fuckboy image you created of him.
The basketball captain drove you back to your place afterward, and he even let you keep his sweater, saying you could give it back whenever you felt like it. You teased him saying he would never see it again, and, to your surprise, Johnny didn’t look opposed. The man even walked you all the way to your door, which was very unnecessary, but you didn’t object.
When you opened the door and were about to walk in, Johnny grabbed your wrist. “Hey,” he started.
You looked up at him, alarmed. “Yeah?”
“You left Ursula at my place.”
You were horrified. How could you forget your fish? Moreover, you were initially expecting something more romantic or sentimental from Johnny, but now you just felt like a bad parent.
“Oh my god,” you whispered. “Please don’t let her die. I’ll come pick her up this evening maybe.”
Johnny chuckled and slid an arm around your waist to tug you closer. “Good. That was my strategy to invite you over again.”
You had no time to respond before Johnny pressed a slow kiss to your lips, fingers grazing your chin with utmost sincerity. You closed your eyes and melted into his touch, lips moving against his in perfect sync. When he pulled away, you were met with the most dazzling grin before Johnny pulled away. He winked at you and made his way back to his car, leaving you dazed at your doorstep.
You heard a loud cough from behind you, seeing a ragged-looking Zhong Chenle with a mug of coffee in his hands. If looks could kill, you would be a pile of dust under your best friend’s gaze.
“Clorox,” Chenle mumbled, barely audible.
You tried to wait a second to register what he said, but you still couldn’t understand. “I’m sorry, what?”
Chenle fixed you with a withering look. “Clorox!” he repeated loudly. “I desperately need to bleach my eyes for what I just witnessed.”
“You know, that’s just going to blind you,” you reminded. “The mental image is still gonna be in your head.”
“Thank you, Y/N. Take a baseball bat to my skull then, will you?”
You rolled your eyes. “You’re being ridiculous, Chenle. All we did was kiss.” When you shrugged off your jacket and turned back to him, you noticed your best friend fixing you with a look. “What?”
“I know you guys fucked. Why else would Johnny be taking you back the next morning?” he countered. “Mark, Jisung, back me up on this.”
As if on cue, the other two peeked from behind the kitchen island, guilty as if they were convicts. Mark Lee looked more queasy, which you supposed was the effect of his hangover, and Park Jisung looked like he hadn’t expected Chenle to call them out. They both cowered even more under your gaze.
“Mark, tell her what you think,” Chenle ordered.
“Well, we don’t really know the whole story,” Mark mumbled, rubbing the back of his neck. He skirted around the counter and sat on the bar stool. “We don’t know the whole story, so, um… we don’t know for sure yet. Johnny’s a nice guy, so maybe he just let her sleep over.”
“Okay, so, Mark’s stupid,” Chenle declared. “Jisung, you’re next.”
Jisung blinked when everyone turned to him. “Yeah, I think they fucked,” he deadpanned.
You groaned, digging the heels of your palms into your eyes. It wasn’t like you hated sex with Johnny nor were you ashamed of it, but something about sleeping with your best friend’s friend made you a little uneasy. You felt like you were breaking a million rules in the Friend Code.
“Okay, yes, we fucked,” you admitted with a sigh. Jisung and Chenle exchanged a high-five while Mark slumped in defeat. “It’s not that big of a deal though!”
“We’ll see about that.” Chenle snorted. “One does not simply stop wanting to fuck Johnny Suh after one time.”
You raised a brow. “Are you speaking from experience?” The sarcasm was clear in your tone, but you wanted to piss off your friend. Chenle spluttered for a moment while Mark and Jisung broke into a fit of laughter.
Jisung glanced at his phone and pocketed it, glancing at his friends before heading to the door. “I’ll be back later. Y/N, keep us updated if you screw Johnny Suh again.”
“I’m not screwing Johnny Suh again!” you yelled after him, but Jisung was already out the door. It wasn’t odd for him to make spontaneous plans, but he usually provided some kind of warning. “What’s up with him?”
“The dance team’s funding’s been wiped clean,” Chenle explained. “People think their coach is gonna be charged with embezzlement.”
“The dance coach?” you asked, frowning. “He’s always been so nice.”
“Jisung’s been going to teach them for free,” Mark spoke up. “You know, while the coach is dealing with admin and stuff.”
“That’s terrible,” you said, a little distant.
You didn’t think anything like that could happen, and something dark and twisted in you considered writing about it. It felt wrong, but you knew Renjun would jump at the opportunity to cover such a scandalous story. Your once boring paper was now being filled with articles on steroids and fraud; you wondered if this was all just some coincidence.
From the unsettled look on Mark’s face, you weren’t so sure it was.
So, Chenle was right.
You did end up going back to Johnny’s place (for research purposes, of course).
You were currently grinding against his lap, whimpering from both the friction and how his tongue laid flat on your collarbone before tracing up your neck. You swiveled your hips a little to taunt him, to see if he’d finally give in and give you what you wanted, but Johnny didn’t budge. He used it to his own advantage instead, bucking his hips back against yours and rousing sweet moans from your lips.
“J-Just tell me about the steroids,” you whined.
“Of course you’re here for that damn interview,” he grunted, attaching his full lips back to your neck to litter your skin with hickies.
“Perceptive, aren’t you?” you retorted, your hold on his shoulder tightening when he started marking you up.
“I’m actually very perceptive,” Johnny pointed out. “Like, for example, when you walked in, I could tell you were horny.” You let out a groan, shaking your head at his observation. “What? I was right.”
“Yeah, anyone could tell I was horny, idiot,” you said. “I was literally ripping my bra off while I was closing your door.”
Johnny chuckled, brushing a strand of your hair behind your ear. He leaned in for a kiss, starting with a few gentle pecks that turned into a desperate dance of tongues. You cupped his face, moving to cradle it when his passion intensified. You had never been kissed like this before, and Johnny took your breath away every single time.
You nearly jumped when you felt Johnny’s hand slip down your pants. You pulled away from the kiss, panting and winded, and you looked down at where he touched you.
You couldn’t tell if the captain appreciated this or not.
“You wanna watch yourself get fucked?” Johnny asked darkly. He chuckled at your flustered expression and turned you around, manhandling your thighs to get you to face his full-length mirror on his door. He spread your legs once again and rubbed you through your shorts. “You like that, hm?”
You reached behind to tug your hand through his hair, spreading your legs wider so he had easier access. “Johnny, just tell me who—”
You cut yourself off with a soft cry when Johnny pressed down on that one spot that made you yelp. Hastily, Johnny unbuttoned your shorts to get to your panties. He slid his hand down the front and started circling your clit with two fingers. His motions were agonizingly slow, but his preciseness made you shudder.
You whined and tugged at the hem of your panties. “J-just take these off.”
He ignored your hand and continued his ministrations. “You’re doing it by my rules today.”
“What? Why?” you breathed out, squirming when he found the perfect rhythm.
Johnny didn’t respond, continuing to circle your sensitive ball of nerves with full concentration. He bit down on the fleshy part of your neck, peppering the area with kisses as he rubbed your clit. You were a moaning mess on top of him, hips rutting forward every now and then for more contact.
Seeing yourself writhing around made you even more shy, and if Johnny didn’t grab ahold of your chin, you would’ve turned your head away. You could only watch as he finger-fucked you and smirked at your fucked-out expression.
The great thing was that when Johnny was right there, he stayed there. He stayed there until your pretty lips were parting and your legs started to tremble. He stayed there until you flushed all over and your eyes glazed over.
“You close?” he murmured in your ear, speeding up.
You could feel the pressure building deep in your core. Warmth bloomed under your skin, and you knew you were on the brink of letting go. Your clit was so sensitive that a simple rub through your underwear brought you closer to your orgasm.
“Close,” you echoed, your voice coming out in a breath with a newfound sense of urgency. All you wanted was for Johnny to finish you off. “So close.”
“Fuck.”
When Johnny pressed down a little more, you unraveled in front of him.
You gasped, but Johnny moved his hand to grab the back of your neck and sealed your lips with a kiss. You whimpered against him while he fingered your clit through your orgasm. Your pussy convulsed as he palmed you repeatedly. You wanted to reprimand yourself for coming apart so easily in front of him, but you could only melt into his kiss as you rode out your high.
Once Johnny had worked your clit until it was sore, he pulled away to look at you. His breaths were hot and ragged, even though you were the one who was being stimulated the entire time.
“By the way,” Johnny said, eyes boring into yours, “I’m so tired of your interview questions.”
Your chest rose and fell at a steady rhythm while you tried to catch your breath. “I don’t care,” you said.
Somehow, this seemed to turn Johnny on. Your brain didn’t even spend the time to register whether it was strange or not. You were so hazy from your orgasm that you just wanted to be close to Johnny.
“Get on the bed,” he ordered.
And, of course, you complied.
It was half a week later while you were reaching under the welcome mat for Johnny’s key when you started to wonder if you had been spending too much time with him.
He was out buying liquor for Jaehyun’s party, so he gave you permission to invite yourself in. Being involved with Johnny Suh was odd because you were making all sorts of connections that you would never have made before.
Since Johnny was good friends with players from the rival school, he had been dragging you along to their parties and introducing you. You gathered quite a lot about them: Jeong Jaehyun was the dictionary definition of a golden boy, Na Jaemin was incredibly hot but impassive, Lee Jeno was a sweetheart, Yuta Nakamoto was too flirty for his own good, and Liu Yangyang was, as usual, annoying.
You enjoyed Johnny’s company, though. Thankfully, the both of you were open about wanting to keep seeing each other. With that out in the open, you two could stop intentionally leaving stuff at each other’s houses to pick up later. Your last straw was you left your bra at his place (unfortunately, right before he threw a party), and a drunk Lee Taeyong held it up and asked whose it was.
Your phone started ringing, and although you found the ringer bothersome, you picked it up when you realized it was Johnny calling.
“What’s up?” you asked, sandwiching your phone between your shoulder and cheek.
“I’m pulling into the driveway,” Johnny said, and you shifted a little to see if you could see him. “Are you inside?”
“Almost, I’m opening—”
When you opened the door and walked into Johnny’s house, the sight in front of you was enough to make your stomach drop.
“J-Johnny,” you whimpered into the phone. “I need you here right now.”
In seconds, you could hear Johnny’s car park and the sound of a door opening and slamming shut. His footsteps grew louder until he was at the doorstep, the concern heavy in his brows. He had left the plastic bags of liquor in the car, and you were somewhat glad he did because he looked like he would’ve let them drop to the ground when he saw the state you were in.
“What’s wrong? Are you okay?” Johnny rushed over to you and cupped your face in his large hands. “What happened? I’m here. Are you hurt?”
You sniffled, choking down a sob. You were sure you would start bawling if you tried to talk, so you pointed to the dead fish in its tank while a few tears made their way down your cheeks.
Whatever concern was drawn over Johnny’s face had washed away instantly. “Are you kidding?” he mumbled.
“Johnny!” you scolded. “Ursula died! Have some heart.”
“To be fair, I’d also want to die if someone named me Ursula.”
“Johnny!”
“She was a fish from Kunhang’s party!” he argued. “I’m sure she was like, one fin in the fish grave, anyway.”
“But she’s our pet!”
“You left her with me!”
You folded your arms across your chest. “If you didn’t have what it took to be a parent, then maybe you shouldn’t have won her with me.”
“She’s a fish! Plus, I was forced into parenthood!” Johnny ran a hand through his hair. “Okay, look, I’ll help bury Ursula with you and then we can cuddle, okay?”
“Don’t try to turn this on me. You wanted that fish first.” You were about to coldly refuse him, but your face softened at his offer. “I guess I’d like that.”
In that moment, you experienced a stupidly excited jolt of your heart. It was the way Johnny Suh’s warmth enveloped your body that made you think this is it, and you had never wanted anything more than him.
Him.
You wanted him.
You wanted Johnny to keep looking at you in that tender way, like you were the whole world; you wanted him to keep holding you like the rest of the world melted away; you wanted him to keep calling your name with that teasing inflection in his voice that you’ve grown to love; and, moreover, you wanted to be someone to him.
Because, without even realizing it, without any formal preamble of your heart fluttering and clenching, you had fallen hard for Johnny Suh.
A few weeks had gone by, and you had seen Johnny more than you saw your own roommates.
You weren’t complaining because the sex was really, really good, but something felt odd about how much time you spent with the basketball team’s captain. When you weren’t having sex, you were cuddling or talking about your day. You even spent an entire day watching trashy rom-coms and shitting on them with Johnny. The intimacy was starting to freak you out.
You weren’t sure it was normal to smile when you thought of running your fingers across Johnny’s sun-kissed skin.
It definitely wasn’t normal to kick your legs like a lovesick teenager while you were FaceTiming him, watching as he set up a fish tank for Ursula Jr., who you two decided to buy because Ursula’s loss was too much for you.
And it most definitely wasn’t normal to invite Johnny over for “cuddle nights” where you both just held each other and watched Netflix (which would be quickly forgotten once Johnny’s lips found yours).
johnny: ursula jr misses you
you: ursula is a fish
you: i don’t think a fish can be capable of missing someone
johnny: not true!
you: plus i’m a terrible fish mom
johnny: okay that’s true
you: ihy
you: so this was your way of subtly inviting me over huh
johnny: something like that
johnny: did it work :)
you: no <3
johnny: goodbye i'm gonna go pull an ophelia in hamlet
“You’re smiling,” Chenle pointed out one night while you were forking salad into your mouth.
You made the conscious effort to stop the corners of your lips from hitching up. “Shut up.”
“Johnny’s really into you, you know?” Chenle mentioned with a snort. “He asked me for girl advice. I spend my weekends watching One Piece with Jisung, and Johnny Suh asked me for girl advice. Do you know how sad that is? I told him to just beat his meat and call it a day.”
“I can tell,” you replied, holding a hand up to hide the fact that you were talking with your mouth full. “He’s invited me out nearly every night this week. I’m almost tempted to say I’m not like the other girls.”
Chenle mockingly gagged. “Say that again and maybe he’ll rethink his feelings.” You snorted a little, but then Chenle’s expression grew serious. “Are you gonna date him?”
“Oh.”
“Oh?” Chenle pressed. He followed you all the way to the kitchen where you were putting away your bowl. You swore that your best friend was a fruit fly in his past life, constantly hovering around and irritating you. “What does oh mean?”
Initially, Chenle seemed the most unsettled by the you-and-Johnny thing. Along the way, he seemed to realize there were probably worse things in the world than his two best friends hooking up. Failing a midterm was bad. Sleeping through a final was disastrous. Thankfully, Mark Lee encountered a lot of misfortunes, so you could thank him for Chenle’s newly-rooted fears. Now, however, your best friend was being far more annoying than when he was opposed to the whole you-and-Johnny thing.
“Jeez, lay off.” You huffed. “I just haven’t thought about dating him.”
“Yes, you have.”
“Okay, yes, I have,” you admitted with a sigh, “but how does something like that even come up?”
That wasn’t, however, one of your main concerns. The real reason you weren’t starting anything with Johnny Suh was because you still had an article to write. First and foremost, Johnny was your strongest lead (as stubborn as he was). And, despite how you felt about him, there was still a sliver of doubt that he could’ve been the one juicing.
You hated yourself for thinking that way. In fact, you would’ve rather it been anyone but Johnny Suh. No matter how much you racked your brain and went through all the details, you couldn’t seem to place a finger on anyone else.
Later, when you found yourself in the newspaper production room, typing away listlessly, you heard someone walk up behind you. You shut your laptop immediately to hide the fact that you were writing an essay instead of your investigative piece.
“How’s that article coming along?” Renjun asked, hitting you over the head with a rolled-up newspaper.
Oh right, the deadline was coming up.
How were you going to explain to your best friend that you had been screwing around with Johnny Suh for the past few weeks? That your only lead was an expert on distracting you from your task? Of course, this was all on you, but Johnny’s head game was perfect for easing your guilt.
However, Renjun was in Editor-in-Chief mode right now. If you tried to beat around the bush, you would end up six feet under.
Instead, you smiled all big, brimming with faux confidence. “It’s going great! Don’t even worry about me.”
Despite his raised brow, Renjun seemed mostly convinced. He never doubted your abilities to get something done, and that filled you with even more guilt. You had been so keen on getting something good on the paper, but now it had all slipped your mind after fooling around with Johnny.
Maybe this was his plan all along. Maybe he was intentionally trying to distract you so that you wouldn’t find out who the actual culprit was.
Maybe, just maybe, it was actually Johnny himself.
But you wouldn’t believe that until you saw it with your own eyes.
The lion’s den was empty.
When you committed to investigating the issue for your piece, you expected to listen in on some conversations and call people in for interviews. You never expected you would go this far for your article, and perhaps your dedication was what scared you. On the other hand, Renjun would be proud and the school newspaper would sweep a few awards if you published something this good.
Your task was simple: look through Johnny Suh’s locker for any evidence of him using steroids. You weren’t sure if you were prepared to see any pills or needles, but when you opened his locker, you were greeted by absolutely nothing that raised suspicion.
Some sweaty shirts, rolls of socks you would never dream of touching, and some sticks of deodorant.
Disappointed, you closed Johnny’s locker. Maybe he wasn’t stupid enough to keep it at school, but you were still determined to find out if he was the culprit or if it was another athlete. Before you could think about your next move, though, you felt a hand clasp over your mouth.
A muffled cry escaped your lips, struggling against the man’s hold. When he wrapped an arm around your waist, you immediately identified him as the owner of the locker himself. You could recognize those biceps anywhere. You quieted down when you heard a chorus of chatter from the entrance of the locker room.
Fuck, was all you could think.
The basketball team was already here and Johnny was dragging you out of the premises like you were getting kicked out of some club. Your eyes were practically bugging out of your head when Johnny let go of you in one of the shower stalls. He closed the curtain behind him and narrowed his eyes at you.
“Why’d you bring me here?” you asked, perturbed and highly conscious of the half-naked man in front of you. You couldn’t lie, though; his ripped abs were quite the treat. “Isn’t there an exit?”
“Yeah, to the gym, where our coach is waiting,” Johnny replied with a scoff, voice lowered only for you to hear. “You’re gonna stay here until they leave.” When you nodded, Johnny grabbed you by the waist and pulled you close to him. “Stand on my shoes.”
You did as he said, realizing that people could probably see your feet from under the curtain. Despite how awkward the situation was, being this close to Johnny Suh was making you feel a little winded.
“Dude, are you showering?” Mark Lee called from the locker room. “Before practice?”
Johnny grumbled and reached for the shower handle, cranking it to the hottest temperature. “I am now.”
You hid your gasp in Johnny’s chest when you felt yourself get drenched. Then, all you could think about was how bitter you were about the impressive water pressure in the showers. The school must have spent a fortune on yet another luxury for the basketball team.
“Are you crazy?” you whispered to him.
“Are you?” he fired back. “I already told you I’m not using steroids. Why won’t you listen to me?”
You raised a brow at him. “And how am I supposed to know you’re telling the truth? You could very well be lying to save your skin.”
Johnny stammered before taking in a deep breath, closing his eyes and everything to exhale his frustration. “Alright,” he started slowly. “I’ll help you with your little investigation as long as you stop doing shit like this.”
“Fine,” you agreed. For a moment, you almost believe Johnny wholeheartedly, but you became wary of his intentions when he pinched your side. “Ow! Cut it out.”
“Can’t help it,” he said coolly. “You look so hot when you’re all wet and angry.”
Normally, you would have flipped out on him for such a comment, but this time, you merely glanced up at him, then trailed your gaze down his chest and to his abs. You reached out to trace the v-line you could see carved onto his hips, dipping down into his shorts. Johnny let out a shudder but didn’t have half the mind to stop your hand.
“You look pretty hot yourself,” you observed, “but I’m still gonna kill you for getting me soaked in my clothes.”
The chatter started to die down in the locker room, indicating that the players were filing into the gym. At the same time, a slow smirk spread across Johnny’s face.
“Then how about you take them off?”
Heat rose to your cheeks, but you pushed at his chest, trying to ignore the fact that he was so close and skillfully cornering you. “Shut up,” you mumbled. “You’re just trying to fuck me so I can forget about the steroid thing.”
“Do you seriously think that?” Johnny asked, and despite his voice hardly being a whisper, you could hear how incredulous he sounded. “Why would I want to fuck you for any other reason other than the fact that I’m crazy for you?”
You froze.
For a moment, all you could hear was Johnny’s shallow breaths and the shower water hitting the floor. The sudden confession left you in a daze, and you were remembering your conversation with Chenle the other night, recalling how he told you how much Johnny liked you. However, it didn’t feel completely real until this moment.
You momentarily forgot how to breathe. You couldn’t even speak as you stared up at a drenched Johnny Suh in utter bewilderment. The astonishment was only greater when you watched the Johnny Suh falter before your eyes.
“I—I know this is out of nowhere,” he stammered, “but I really like you, Y/N.”
You thought you were dreaming. Johnny Suh was confessing to you. This was something that happened in movies, and you never thought of yourself as the main character, but this was incredible.
Some unknown surge of confidence seemed to come over him when he smiled smugly and said, “I know you like me too.” When you didn’t respond, Johnny buried his face in the crook of your neck, peppering soft kisses along the side. “C’mon, say it.”
“W-What?” you stuttered.
“Say it.” Johnny inhaled sharply and started sucking at the supple skin, making you mewl and fall into him. “Tell me you like me.”
“I don’t wanna,” you whimpered, gripping his broad shoulder when his open-mouthed kisses got more heated. Your stomach flipped when you felt him groan against your skin. “Johnny—”
“I know you like me,” he murmured. “Why won’t you just admit it already? I wanna hear it from those pretty lips.”
“I don’t wanna tell you,” you repeated, eyes shut and lower lip nearly bleeding from how hard you were biting down on it.
Johnny’s eyes hardened. “Why?”
“Because,” you mumbled, finally opening your eyes to look up at him, “everything’s gonna change now that we both like each other.”
Johnny stared at you for a moment, words lost on his pillowy lips. He looked like he was trying to process the fact that you reciprocated his feelings. The heightened tension made you reel back, but Johnny’s gaze pulled you back in. When it all fell into place and clicked for him, he let his actions speak for himself, capturing your lips into a sweet kiss.
Something was definitely odd about confessing your feelings and being kissed in the shower of the boy’s locker room. Normally, you would be completely grossed, but with Johnny, none of those thoughts arose. A setting like this was perfect for the two of you—a little strange, a little discreet, but so intimate.
You curled your hand in Johnny’s hair, tugging when his hand slipped down to your lower back. He had no care for whoever could be lingering around in the locker room. To you both, the world was just you and Johnny, with everyone else being background noise. You whimpered when you felt his hands grip your ass, nearly pulling back to reprimand him, but Johnny tugged you impossibly closer.
The smugness was rich in his voice when he pulled back. “You like me.”
“Mhm,” you grumbled, face hot with embarrassment.
“You like me,” he repeated.
“I get it!” you exclaimed. “Stop looking at me like that.”
Johnny smirked. “Like what?”
“Like you wanna kiss me.”
“But I do wanna kiss you.”
You let out a whine. “Yes, but—”
You fell silent when a door opened somewhere in the locker room. The echo of the slam gave Johnny enough time to turn off the shower before anyone noticed. The both of you held your breaths, bodies pressed close in the tiny stall while you waited out the shuffling on the other side.
“I’m telling you, no one’s gonna find out,” came the basketball coach’s hushed voice. He seemed to be speaking into a phone, but you couldn’t open the curtain to check. “It’s a madhouse in the office. No one believes the dance coach, so we’re fine.”
Johnny’s face turned stony. He sent you a questioning look and turned his gaze back toward the wall, trying to pick up on more of the coach’s conversation.
“It’s around ten grand,” he continued. “They’ll never find out I took it, so stop worrying.”
Your stomach sank when you realized what was going on.
The basketball coach framed the dance coach. He stole the money and let the dance instructor get charged with embezzlement. You could hardly believe what you were hearing. Rage boiled at the pit of your stomach; Jisung had been working countless hours to make up for the dance teacher’s absence, and, in the end, he was innocent.
You had fallen victim to false accusations before. Not on a scale as grand as the dance coach’s, but enough to hurt your feelings. Such an allegation, however, could damage the coach’s entire reputation and career. A man who was cherished by his students would become known as a man who committed fraud.
Unless you did something about it.
“I’ll keep it in my desk for tonight,” the coach muttered. “I have to go coach my kids, so I’ll talk later.”
After some more shuffling and another door slamming shut, you were positive that you and Johnny were alone again. Still, you felt shaken up by the conversation you had eavesdropped on. Writing an article on such a scandal hadn’t even crossed your mind yet because you were so disoriented.
Johnny, on the other hand, looked furious.
“Steroids,” he gritted out, jaw clenched and
“Huh?” you asked. “What about steroids?”
“Coach,” Johnny replied, his voice taut and cold. “Coach was on steroids.”
You couldn’t help the gasp that flew past your lips. “Are you serious? It wasn’t a player on the team? But you said—”
“I said, ‘he used to be one of the best players,’” Johnny recalled, “which is true. He used to be.” His face turned sour when he added, “Didn’t think he’d stoop so low to be this shitty of a human being. I knew something was off about the dance coach being accused of embezzlement. Ten told me he’s a good man, and I trust his judgement of character.”
“This is insane,” you whispered, and for the first time in your life, you were conflicted with this article. “I should… I should tell someone about what we heard, shouldn’t I? I should tell someone before I write about it.”
This was definitely something you should report on. Not only would it stop the attacks against the dance team, but it would save the coach’s life from being ruined.
But then, you thought of all the times you crossed the line with your journalism. You pushed Johnny far too much to get something out of him. Hell, you even looked through his locker.
Even if you reported on this and did something good for the community, it didn’t change how wrong your intentions were.
Johnny cupped your cheeks. “Y/N, I know I was protecting the coach this entire time,” he said slowly, looking deep into your eyes, “but please ruin that bastard’s life.”
First came the sound of the door opening. “John Suh!” Mark’s voice boomed throughout the locker room. “Did you die in that shower, man?”
Before you could stop him, Johnny grabbed the edge of the shower curtain and flung it open, revealing your bodies pressed flush against each other. On the bright side, you were fully clothed while Johnny was halfway there. You two probably would’ve given Mark Lee a heart attack if you were both naked.
Ground, swallow me whole, you thought miserably, but, in retrospect, Mark was probably thinking the same exact thing.
“Am I interrupting something?” the basketball player asked in a small voice. His eyes shifted to the side like he was trying to look anywhere but you two. His voice dropped to a whisper when he asked himself, “Why does this always happen to me?”
Johnny ignored his friend’s awkward mannerisms. “Mark, I’m selling the coach out. Tell the rest of the team to cut practice today.”
Mark’s eyes went wide. “The coach? Like… like the”—he gestured toward his bicep and flexed it—“thing?”
“Yes, the steroid thing,” Johnny clarified with a sigh. You felt him shift, signaling for you to get off his feet, so you stepped out of the shower, cringing at how your clothes were wet now. Johnny followed suit and ran a hand through his damp hair. “He stole the dance coach’s money for the team, so we’re getting back at him through Y/N.”
This time, Mark’s eyes were as wide as saucers. “He stole the money?”
You raised your hand to contribute to their conversation. “Actually, I don’t think there’s anything I can report unless… you give me your word that you heard the coach admitting he stole the money.”
And, despite this being the one thing you were going after all along, you almost couldn’t believe the words that fell out of Johnny’s mouth when he said, “Yes, I’ll go on record.”
WINNING AT ANY COST: BASKETBALL COACH CHARGED FOR EMBEZZLEMENT AND FRAME-UP
“Why’re you sulking?” Johnny asked, a proud grin on his face as his eyes skimmed over your name at the bottom of the article. “This is great.”
It was true. You had never felt so proud of an article, and Renjun’s beaming face upon being congratulated for the paper was all you wanted. Jisung had never been so relieved to find out that the dance coach was innocent the entire time, and the basketball team formally apologized to them on behalf of their incarcerated ex-coach.
You thought Chenle and Mark would be upset about what happened to their coach, but they recovered at the speed of light, starting to talk about how they knew he would slip up like this. You figured none of them were close enough to care too much, but they were on the lookout for a new coach.
For now, though, they were on a break, which meant Johnny had even more time for you.
You were both on his bed, reading your respective copies of the school newspaper. You had kicked Johnny to the other side of the bed after he tried to wrap his arm around you, so he was pouting until he flipped to your article.
“I wanted to write about the steroids,” you grumbled, staring down at your own copy of the paper.
While the paper was being copy edited, Renjun decided that while the two scandals had amazing content, the embezzlement would overshadow the steroid situation. Reluctantly, you agreed to only publish one and hold off on the other. You weren’t complaining, though; after all, having your name on such a great piece was more than enough for you.
Johnny chuckled at your expression. “You did good, okay? I’m sorry for giving you a hard time.”
“You are?”
With two little words, the mood shifted completely. Your toes curled a little in your shoes when you noticed how Johnny was looking at you.
It wasn’t lustful; it was loving.
“I’m not,” he said with bleak honesty, “because then we wouldn’t have gotten close.”
This was what you were scared of all along. You were scared of Johnny admitting his feelings, you reciprocating them, and then changing the course of your relationship with him. You were scared of this comfortable routine being altered forever because of this declaration.
But now, with your gazes locked and hands inching closer to each other, you had never been so confident about wanting to be with Johnny Suh.
“You know,” he continued, “you never told me how you felt about me.”
“I did,” you deflected.
“It wasn’t explicit.”
He was appeased the smallest bit by your indirect confession, but you knew Johnny wouldn’t let you rest until he got a clear answer. You weren’t in the mood for games anymore, either. Maybe Johnny’s bed wasn’t the most romantic place in the world for a confession, but this was where it all started.
“Alright,” you said slowly. Before, you fussed over how awkward this part would be, but the words came out more natural than you had expected. “I really like you, Johnny Suh.”
Johnny laughed, and you were elated. This felt so easy, and you couldn’t help but think you were foolish for stressing out over this. But this was how Johnny made you feel; he made you feel comforted, he made you glow, and you wouldn’t want to lose that feeling to anything.
“I really like you too, Y/N,” Johnny returned your confession, a gentle smile on his lips.
Slowly, he pulled you closer, his thumb tracing over the curve of your cheek and eyes never leaving yours. Neither of you spoke for a second, and you were certain you would’ve crumbled in his hold if he kept staring at you so intently.
Then, Johnny moved his hand to the back of your neck, lips capturing yours. This felt natural to you. This felt like home.
And sometimes, you wondered if you and Johnny were truly meant to be, if nothing would have happened if you didn’t overhear that conversation between him and Chenle. You didn’t think too much about parallel universes, but you wondered if there was a you and Johnny in every single one, a dozen realities where you found each other. In all honesty, the likelihood of you two being together in every single reality was pretty low. There were far too many obstacles and situations that would have kept you apart.
You didn’t care about the other universes, though. You didn’t care about the realities where you weren’t with Johnny Suh. You cared about this one: the one where you ended up together.
So, now, you could enjoy this even more—the little moments, and everything in between. Everyone always gushed over the firsts—the first date, the first kiss, the first anniversary—but no one ever talked about the moments after, the moments in between, the moments like this.
On the record, off the record—whatever it was—this felt right.

Standing in front of the full-body length mirror in your bedroom, your eyes roam over your body carefully watching yourself, watching how the lingerie set hugged your curves perfectly, you had bought a new set and wanted to see how it looked on you in your bedroom, you hear footsteps moving closer to the bedroom before Johnny appeared in the doorway, he freezes once he saw you in just the lingerie set standing in front of the mirror, you look away from your body and at him through the mirror, watching his eyes practically undress you, licking his lips as he thought of how he would have you for the night.
“Does it look good?” You ask, hoping to catch his attention, you see him nod his head, your eyes move over his body before turning around and letting out a sigh. “Are you going to eye fuck me all night or are you going to do something about it?” He looks up at you, meeting your eyes, they had darkened, matching his lust clouded ones, he takes big steps towards you, his hands reaching for your hips, he pulls you against him, his lips brush over yours, tasting your sweet delicious lips, the kiss was hungry and almost rough, his fingers press into your skin, feeling your warmth underneath his touch, his hands begin rubbing up and down your sides, he breaks away from the kiss and his lips move along your jaw before down the side of your neck, you tilt your head t the side, giving him more access.
“Let’s test out this set.” He says.
“I think it already did what it was supposed to do.” You say, you move your hips into his, grinding against his crotch, feeling his cock starting to grow hard.
“I meant, let’s see how long it will hold.” He says, his mouth moves over your collarbone, leaving a feathery touch behind as he moves lower, his lips move over the fabric and top when his lips reached your nipple, his lips wrap around it and around the fabric, wetting it.
“Johnny…” You breathe out, you move one of your hands to the back of his head, losing your fingers through his hair, your other hand moves to his cock, placing your palm against his jeans, and start rubbing your hand up and down, feeling him hardening as you do, you could feel yourself growing wet as his lips worked on your nipple, the lacy fabric rubbing over your nipple added to the stimulation you were receiving, you felt his teeth scrape over the fabric before he pulled away, pulling the fabric between his teeth before releasing it, letting it hit your nipple. “Shit!”
“For teasing me.” He says, he slides his hand away from your waist and down to your legs, moving it over your mound. “Spread your legs.” You do as he tells you before feeling his hand move between your legs, his fingers rubbed the outline of your folds, feeling the lacy fabric underneath his touch.
“Fuck!” You curse, feeling his hand slap against your pussy, your clit throbbed in anticipation, you barely started, and you were already needy for him.
“I want you to cum, at least once, while you’re in this set.” He says, you take in a shaky breath as you feel him press his fingers into the fabric, pushing it past your folds, his finger presses into your clit, drawing a gasp from you, he knew your weakest spots and knew where and when to touch to get an orgasm out of you, you feel the fabric moving against your clit as he begins to rub the sensitive nub, his eyes watch you while his mouth moves closer to your other nipple he hadn’t sucked yet, you could feel the bud hardening from the wet patch on your bra. “How fast can you make a mess in this set?” Your clit and nipples were extremely sensitive to his touch, and he was aware of it and was about to take advantage of it, his lips wrap around your nipple, causing the fabric to rub against your nipple, your skin flares up and your eyes fall shut, feeling his finger rubbing your clit and his mouth sucking on your nipple, your hand pauses its movements on his cock, you tug at his hair at the sensation going through you, he could feel your thongs becoming wet from where he had his fingers pressed against you, it even surprised him with how quickly you were growing wet, your hand moves away from his cock and twists into the hem of his black t-shirt, tugging at it.
“Johnny… Johnny…” You moan out, your breathing was becoming shallower and shallower as the seconds ticked by, you could feel a faint tension starting to form in your lower tummy, his finger disappears from your clit, he pulls the fabric out from between your folds and moves it to the side, making you whimper at the friction, his fingers touches your clit almost immediately and begin drawing figure eights on it. “Johnny…” You feel his teeth once again graze over the fabric, his other hand that was still resting on your waist slides over your skin and to the clasp of your bra, he quickly undoes it and pulls away from your nipple, pulling the bra with him with his mouth, his hand quickly grabs it and removes it completely, dropping it to the floor, thankfully the set didn’t have any straps, you squirm in his touch as you feel your muscles starting to twitch. “Johnny.” His lips move over your chest, his tongue flattens against it, sliding over the curves of your breasts before reaching one of your nipples, he flicks his tongue over the bud, you squeeze your eyes tighter, feeling the tension inside you building, and building up fast. “Johnny…” Two fingers touch your clit, he takes the sensitive nub between his fingers and rolls it between the pads of his fingers.
“JOHNNY!” You scream and tug at his hair and shirt, your mind is sent into the clouds and stars appear behind your eyelids, the tension snaps inside you and your release hits you, he pulls away from your nipple and watches your facial expression, watching the pure bliss on your face. “Johnny… Johnny.” His hand disappears from your clit and moves to the elastic band of the thongs, he hooks it with his fingers and pushes it down, it pools around your ankles, you lean forward and lay your forehead against his shoulder you slowly open your eyes, breathing hard from your high, you could see a tent in his jeans, you release his shirt and move your hand to the button of his jeans.
“I like the set, but it’s just in the way.” He says. “I like you better naked, baby.” You softly smile as you unzip his jeans, you push it down with one hand, carefully not to hurt his erected cock.
“I have to say the same about you.” You say. “Like you much better naked.” You remove your hand from his hair and you lift your head, you quickly remove his jeans and underwear, his cock slapping against the black t-shirt he had on, the tip glistened with pre-cum. “Fuck, do I even need to touch you for you to be ready?” He uses his feet to kick his jeans and underwear to the side when they pooled around his feet, he quickly removes his shirt, your eyes move over his chest and toned tummy. “Let me just…” You lean closer and press your tongue against his chest, sliding it over his toned chest, you could see him shiver at the sensation, his skin feeling on fire also, you could see sweat forming on his neck.
“I think I’m hard enough.” He says, he grabs your waist, gripping you with a bruising grip. “Let’s go, you’re riding me.” You let him guide you to the bed, he sits down on the edge of it and pulls you onto his lap, you quickly straddle him, moving your knees onto the bed, his hand wraps around his cock and moves it through your soaked folds, collecting your arousal onto his cock before he moves it to your entrance, you lower yourself down on him, he unwraps his hand from around his cock and moves both his hands to your hips, holding onto you as you sink down on him, your jaw slacks at the sensation of his cock filling and stretching you.
“Fuck… Johnny…” You moan.
“Shit… you always feel so fucking good around me.” He says, your hand's grip onto his shoulders, you look into his eyes as you pause once he was fully inside you. “Fuck, I can’t believe you’re already clenching around me.” You smirk, mischievousness dancing in your eyes. “You little…” You lift your hips, letting him slip out of you halfway before sinking back down on him. “Shit.”
“Fuck…” You breathe out, his grip on your hips tighten, your pace picks up and soon the sound of your wetness squelching filled the room along with the sound of your sweet moans mixed with his, your fingers dig into his shoulders as you roll your hips into his, hips lips crash against yours, tasting you, your hands were starting to slip from his shoulders from all the sweat, causing you to grip tighter, forming bruises on his skin, making him break the kiss.
“Fuck.” He grunts. “That feels so fucking good.” Your lips were swollen from the kiss, your skin glistened with sweat. “I’d have a lot to explain tomorrow.”
“Do you know what that sounds like.” You say. “Like tomorrow’s problem.” You could feel your high quickly approaching, your toes curl as your muscles start to twitch, your legs were starting to become tired, and Johnny picked up on it, he begins lifting you up and down on his cock.
“You’re doing so good, baby.” He says. “Let me help you, we need to finish this, we can’t slow down or stop now.” You tilt your head back, closing your eyes as your mind slowly ascends into the clouds, stars slowly appear behind your eyelids. “Fuck, fuck, are you coming around me?”
“Johnny…” You moan, the tightening feeling that had been growing inside you snaps, and pleasure crashes into you, your grip on his shoulders loosens, his arms wrap around you, holding you close to him, making sure you wouldn’t fall off him.
“Hold onto me, baby, I’m gonna lay you down.” He says, you barely heard him, but wrapped your arms around his neck, he stands up and turns around before laying you down on the bed, you release your hold around his neck and grip onto the duvet, his hands move to your thighs, gripping them as he snaps his hips into you, chasing his own high, you pull at the duvet, your entire body shaking with pleasure, his thrusts became uneven, letting you know that he was close.
“Cum inside me, fill me, baby…” You say, your words sent him tumbling over the edge, and he coats your walls with his load.
“Fuck, Y/n…” He groans, you knew how much those words affected him, he loved to fill you up, knowing that you were both being safe, you could feel the mixture of your releases escaping from you as he rocked his hips into yours, easing himself through his high, you release the duvet and open your eyes, looking up at him, seat rolled down his chest and glistened underneath the lights, he stops inside you and releases your legs, your heels dig into the edge of the bed, his hands slide up thighs and rests on your knees. “Fuck….” He opens his eyes to look down at you. “How many sets did you buy?”
“Why are you asking?” You ask, you could feel his cock slowly growing soft inside you.
“Because I need to be better prepared if I walk in on you trying them on.”

word count: 620 words
Seven minutes–a mere 420 seconds–can make or break relationships. It obliterates awkward friendships, founds the basis of sensual romances, or, in most cases, is simply spent in silence with a stranger.
A blurred friendship however–one constantly recoiling at the edge of something more–can fork into a multitude of possibilities.
You and Johnny have been friends since high school; ending up in the same university had been the best thing you’d heard all senior year. Enrolling in your dream university with your ideal partner. In companionship, of course. Not the romantic kind. No, totally not. Absolutely not.
But standing here, backed against the cramped wall of some frat guy’s closet across Johnny Suh, every sensation you’ve fought to curb, rises in your throat (along with the two shots of vodka you swigged an hour ago).
“Are you okay?” he whispers, just in case the others might hear him through the thin wooden door. His breath feathers past your collarbone, and down your spine. “It’s kind of hot in here, huh?”
“Yeah,” you croak. Definitely.
Johnny sweeps his tousled hair back, bicep flexing with every minute gesture. “You’re not uncomfortable, right? Am I squishing you into the wall?” He doesn’t break eye-contact, pupils boring into you unabashedly, compelling you to do the same.
“No. I’m fine.”
“Really? You seem… off.”
“Me? Off? I’m not– You’re imagining things.”
“Right… If you say so.”
Are you really making it that obvious?
Making what obvious? You don’t harbour feelings for Johnny. No way. You’ve known him for ages, and not once have you been enticed by him. No, not by the rich laugh, powerful aura, infectious humour, benevolent warmth, natural charm, explosive wit. No, you’d never. There’s a definitive line between the two of you, one where if crossed, you can never turn back. And you’re not crossing anything tonight, because Johnny doesn’t want to. Right?
“You smell nice,” he mumbles, lips barely parting as he speaks, like he’s trying to smother something back.
Your gaze flickers to his cupid’s bow. “Thanks.”
“Did you buy a new perfume?” His eyelids droop, lulled by your scent.
“No. I’ve… had it for a while. You never noticed?”
“No.”
“Oh,” you say–sigh, really. In the minimal space between you and Johnny, you can almost see your breaths intertwining, two exhales in sync, in limerence.
“Sorry. I lied. I did notice.” The distance seems to be closing, or is it simply the jest of alcohol and stifling body heat?
“Why’d you only say now?”
“Because… it felt overwhelming.”
Maybe you’re experiencing it too. Johnny’s always worn the same cologne–citrusy, a twinge of lemon and bergamot on your tongue–but right now, it’s sweltering; it’s all you can smell, or think about.
“Can I kiss you?”
Johnny asks bluntly. He’s never been the type to beat around the bush, yet the territory he treads is unfamiliar, tender. Can he really be so brash? Can you?
Perhaps, he isn’t totally obsolete of fear, because his next few words, you know, aren’t just for your peace of mind, but his.
“Friends kiss too.”
“What? Who decided that?”
“Us. Just now. Right?”
“Right,” you nod, because it feels officiating. There’s no doubt. Kissing is no longer couple-exclusive. Something so trivial shouldn’t bound people, shouldn’t be a privilege only in the presence of love. Being uncertain, and taking risks deserves its own rewards, because it’s a kind of audacious love as well, right? As stupid and cheesy as it sounds. Friends kiss too is now a sacred law, without objection.
And with that, it is you and Johnny’s breaths colliding, balms emulsifying in a barely lit closet. Hands traversing, noses bumping, lips swelling, lines crossed, because what kind of person defies their very own law?
ღ genre: fluff, kind of angst a bit but it ends well i think, kinda soulmate au if you think about it?

ღ plot: you taken a liking towards a specific cupid that comes at the right time of the year, however there was just one problem. there was no way that cupids are allowed to fall in love, unless they have found their soulmate.
FALLIN FOR YOU MASTERLIST
You think love is soft as you stare at the cotton candy sky above you, the soft coldness of the February weather brushing against your skin gently. There was just something about the season of being in love, such as Valentine’s Day, that makes you want to hopelessly fall in love with someone knowing that you are someone else’s love of their life. However, every other year was like the last as you sat in the park alone with your thoughts.
Nobody has given you that spark that you wanted to feel; the love at first sight and soulmate type of sensation that you longed for since you were able to read about love.
You think that it’s a curse that there isn’t anyone that hasn’t made your relationship feel as though they were the one, making it awkward every time you had to break up with them from not feeling as invested into it like you did at first. Selfish- is what they usually called you, for being so inconsiderate of the other party’s feelings when in reality you were only doing what your heart had told you to, in order to save yourself and the other from the heartache that would’ve inevitably arrived in a short time.
Love was a scary concept, you thought to yourself, wondering as to why it couldn’t be easy like the cotton candy skies that were still floating over your head, the late afternoon hour indicated that the sun was going to set soon. It made you feel as though you were wasting time, looking for someone that could possibly not exist while your peers and friends were all off finding their own soulmates, their other halves, every single day that has passed by.
With the season of love in full bloom, more of them seemed to have been stricken by an arrow by the cupids and angels from heaven, falling in love with people that might not even be their soulmate in the end. However, you wish that it was you that got struck by one rather than having to face the loneliness that was now greeting you behind the sun beaming against your own eyes.
You wanted to be loved.
The aura of someone’s presence suddenly sitting next to you breaks you out of your trance as you turned your eyes slightly to the person that decided to sit, taking notice of how out of breath he was from whatever he must’ve been doing. What caught your eye more, rather than the man in clad jeans, was the basket of arrows that were clung onto his back, a bow strapped across his chest when he suddenly made eye contact with you.
Silence is what fills the atmosphere as you suddenly felt an attraction to him, something that you haven’t felt in your life and you feared that this must be what love at first sight must be like. For him- for Johnny, he thinks that it is a cruel timing that he bumps into the one person that is supposed to be his soulmate, when he was on the job to help other people fall in love.
He was scared that you were going to run away, if he were to tell you officially that he was a cupid, fearing that you would only be bound to him with a simple arrow that you could be struck with, but he wasn’t able to do that at all considering the fact that you were soulmates. You didn’t know that, he thinks to himself, as he struggled to find the words that were resting at the tip of his tongue, yearning to speak them when he just couldn’t get them out.
However you somehow felt safe just being around him, and with that knowledge you know that you are able to trust him with your life as well. Was this feeling supposed to be what it was like to meet your soulmate? Was he even your soulmate, you think to yourself as you turned to get a good look at him under the warm colors of the sky that were no longer cotton candy colored.
He glowed in the light, making him more angelic like in your eyes and you wondered, who this man in question might be. He seemed as though he came at the right time, but would it actually be considered the right time if it was already the season of love?
“Hi.” You mumbled quietly while looking at him, giving him a small smile as he reciprocates the small action before speaking up in the silence that you somehow seemed to break between you both.
Maybe it might not be so bad after all if you knew more about him, in which you intended to find out more about him. If only you could tell the future.
