🪷 A collection of Lotus’s joint braces! These help so much with joint pain and instability :)
My emojis or graphics are free to use with proper credit! (credit to my username @its-whimsii-248 for graphics and use my tag, “whii” or "whims" in emoji names). Use of my creations for AAC and other communication aids is highly encouraged!
All of my joints are inflamed right now. The worst being clustered in my lower back/hips, neck, knees, and from my wrists to my fingertips.
It's like they're all exploding in slow motion. But I'm feeling every bit of that slow-mo explosion....at 10x intensity.
I just want to float in a watery abyss. Water is the only thing that usually alleviates/distracts me from this pain the most. But I don't currently have access to a large enough amount to float in. The aquatic center closed for the season already.
I'm so so tired. In so so much pain.
I'm on the couch barely able to move. My eldest is eating a snack watching little bear next to me. He's a sweet kid. Understands when I'm in pain and can't play much.
That's one of the heaviest things I grieve with chronic illness. My body breaking down so much. I wanted to be that mom that was outside all the time with her littles. Or even just being able to romp around inside with them. I manage to do that, if I'm lucky, once a week.
I'm always worried I'm failing them terribly interaction-wise. I try to give myself grace but it's hard....
Why is sore jaw back
Can't my joints relax??
This hand can fit so much fricken swelling inside it *slap sound*
Really hoping I can get back into making more art again. I was hoping to hit 2021 with a running start, but I crashed the first hurdle and between work and health I’ve had to put a lot of projects on the back burner and some are starting to tumble behind the stove :’)
Hello Himanshu Kudos to you for serving people so humbly and so forthcoming! I come to you seeking answers to my questions. I am in my late thirties and I feel lethargic and despirited. I also have started putting on weight and muscle is now loose. Moreover I have no interest for spending time with my partner. I am also worried about arthritis since my mom has it and I fell twice on my right knee in past 5 years and I feel Sensitivity in my right knee. I want to be active till I die. TIA!
Hello Tia, You are not alone. Most people in their late thirties feel lethargic and start losing muscle tone. Developing joint stiffness is also a common issue with people in late thirties.
The reason is deficiency of important electrolytes and minerals that support metabolism, enzyme action and hormone production. The deficiency occurs because of age and lifestyle. The most important minerals required by your body are
Potassium - the deficiency of potassium is causing lethargy and beginning of symptoms similar to arthritis.
Iron - the deficiency of iron is causing poor muscle tone as hemoglobin (the protein in blood) is desperately seeking iron for normal functioning.
Zinc - the deficiency of zinc reduces production of enzymes and hormones required for healthy metabolism.
Magnesium - the deficiency of this mineral causes absorption issues particularly of calcium.
Calcium of course is the last one.
You need to first consume a lot of Potassium. Over 90% of people anywhere in the world consume less than 25% of RDA of Potassium everyday. The consumption has to be in the form of Potassium Chloride as this electrolyte is needed for creating nerve and energy impulses. You can take it in bio-medic (homeopathic) form. Kalium Muriaticum 6x (5 pellets thrice a day). You will feel the difference on day one itself. Or you can take Potassium Chloride liquid OTC supplement available in your country or region. Eat potassium rich food. Google for all the sources. You can also take ORS (Oral Re-hydration Solution) solution. It has good quantity of Potassium Chloride in it. ORS sachets are available at any pharmacy.
For Iron, wash and soak 10-15 raisins every night. In the morning drink the water and chew the raisins properly. This is the best way to supplement iron.
For zinc and magnesium, you either need to get an OTC supplement and by including dietary sources of these minerals.
However, the first and foremost is potassium. Start consuming it. In addition, try to sleep and wake up on time (respecting circadian rhythm). Avoid refined and processed food as they have lot of factory produced salt that robs you of energy. Drink a soup of fresh boiled vegetables. Consume lot of virgin cold pressed oils like Olive Oil, Coconut Oil and if possible, Ghee. That’s all. Wish you good health.
