Here's a fun angsty idea for the Gummigoo Revival AU:

When Caine is having his full crashout and sending all the circus members into their own personal nightmares, he twists both Gummigoo and Novvet into monsters and forces them to attack Pomni (Much like how Nightmare Gummigoo did in canon); turning her own family against her.

When Caine gets deleted, Gummigoo and Novvet survive and revert to normal...but they still remember what they did. How both of them were forced into a berserker state and attacked the person they loved the most.

Gummigoo's first instinct is to approach with an apology. But when he does?

Pomni flinches, out of instinct more than anything else and she immediately regrets it because Gummigoo can see plainly how much he hurt her even if it wasn't his fault nor novvet's. He knows that Pomni is, at least on some level, frightened of him. That she no longer feels safe around him.

Regardless of what happens next, all three of them know that their happy little family has been irreversibly damaged.
