This was a GOOD one. The characters made their way into my heart and I had a hard time putting it down. Very in depth characters with a lot of their own individual plots going on. Believable and well written character development and relationship building. Bi MCs, “enemies” to best friends/lovers. I really liked the dual narration of the characters.
If you like audiobooks, the audio of this was super well performed too! Dual narration by two narrators who really bring the MCs’ voices to life even more.
Heed the CWs at the front of the book as both characters’ personal stories are heavy, but it was a very sweet read.
Another note I’d give is it’s smuttier than any YA books I’ve read?? I was surprised as it was marked as YA; it’s not super graphic or anything just…surprising in this genre to me, ha. Maybe that’s normal for YA these days? Idk it just wasn’t a thing in published YA stories during my time. Again I’m not criticizing, I’m just pointing it out for those who might want to know that. Just a bit spicier than the average YA romance is all.
I would seriously love to see a movie deal for this one. I think Dylan and Jonah would do so well on the screen. Despite the heavy topics, the book and characters were also FUNNY and this would make a great on screen teen romcom tbh
I definitely recommend this book for a nice enemies to lovers/fake dating love story!!

Omar Collins is one of my favorite premades in Isla Paradiso. To me he’s the Mortimer Goth of Isla Paradiso. He’s a grumpy child when you load the world.
He was added to the household after stuck aging for a couple days from teen to young adult. I kept him around since the Seaside Savior LTW came up for him and I’m trying to unlock the islands (I was going to cheat the last two - saving 35 victims and five-star resort since I’d done them both already).
He and his girlfriend had two daughters while teens. Jonah is his son.
Jonah wishes to be a Celebrated Five-Star Chef so he was sent off to harvest the community garden as all the produce was left behind in the other house. Jonah will not be sticking around long. I’ll get him started in his career and then give him the boot.

Jonah Collins
I am really getting bad at taking birthday shots. Jesse aged to teen. Only got his teen shots.
Jonah’s birthday followed the next day, but only got shots of him as a teen, but none as a Young Adult.
