J.Views focuses on transporting the listener to a space that only can be visualized by the listener. 

The song, ‘Don't Pull Away,’ is strong and breathtaking song that uses synth and ups and downs, and the smoothing voice of Milosh to create an emotional bond with the listener. This album lifts you up, takes you on a personal journey, and grounds you. "Moves You" is one of the more upbeat tracks on the album which simply makes you want to dance. I’ve been endlessly intrigued and delighted by Brooklyn producer Jonathan Dagan’s project as J.Views (formerly J.Viewz) for the past year. He’s had an ongoing enterprise entitled the DNA Project, on which he allowed contributors to publicly piece together new music. The fruits of this process have been divine, and they’ve involved a long list of respected collaborators ranging from Lo-Fang to Milosh of Rhye. It’s certainly news to be celebrated that an album entitled 401 Days will be dropping Friday May 20th, the culmination of this project. I must get my hands on a copy of this album, whose new single is actually a song which I shared early on that features Nashville indie pop band Wild Cub. Into The Light’s 80′s inspired synthwave is glorious. Thanks to Wild Cub’s baritone vocals, it all sounds very The National gone new wave, or a trip back to Neil Diamond days of yore but sleekly smooth with a touch of Vangelis. Earlier this year, I shared some music from Brooklyn producer j.viewz, or Jonathan Dagan, from his ongoing The DNA Project. As the year has progressed, the producer has continued to create breathtaking music on the real time album making machine, which allows contributors to piece together new music. The latest gem from the brilliant machine is a heart wrenching chill electronic and R&B ballad named Don’t Pull Away. j.viewz started working on the sensual seducer with Gotye but finished it up with Lo-Fang and  Milosh of Rhye. The Rhye and Lo-Fang in Don’t Pull Away is unmistakable. It’s opulent, plush, and atmospheric, in a Sade sort of luxuriant way. Sweeping orchestral swells and Milosh’s supple vocals make Don’t Pull Away sensationally beautiful. Don’t Pull Away is a divine union of artists I adore. You can access the song’s “DNA”, here.

Brooklyln producer Jonathan Dagan, who goes by the moniker J.viewz, has an ongoing project named DNA Project. It's a brilliant real time album making machine that allows contributors to piece together new music. Learn more about the DNA Project, here. The third and latest completed track to be revealed from the project is a lightly grooving, heavily addicting synthpop song named Into The Light. The glowing song also features Nashville indie pop crew Wild Cub, who gave us the immensely catchy anthem Thunder Clatter previously. The guest baritone vocals meld splendidly with Into The Light's sultry, swirly production, creating a fully enveloping, swooning, and warm experience.

If it was still the 80s and I heard Far Too Close, my first guess would be that it is a Phil Collins song. But it's 2013, and it's actually Jonathan Dagan aka j.viewz.  And to state the obvious, this video has a ton of dancing.
