Here’s a link to the trailer for “Nosferatu”. It’s a remake of the 1922 silent film “Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror” which was an unauthorized telling of Bram Stoker’s “Dracula”.

Nicholas Hoult plays the stand-in for Jonathan Harper, Willem Dafoe in the Van Helsing role, and Lily-Rose Depp as Lucy.

Bill Skarsgård has been cast as the Vampire Count Orlok but no images of him yet.

It’s scheduled to be released on Christmas Day 2025.

Tbh I don’t get why people aren’t going insane about the Re:Dracula trailer song? Like it so perfectly captures the weird meta aspects of listening to an audiobook recording of a hundred year old novel that most people know the general narrative beats of and the odd feeling of complicity that the audience has in Dracula. Also “You better fear the devils bark because Johnny boy he’s got a bite” ???

I just started Re: Dracula (I did Dracula Daily last year and I wanted to do something different this time) and I just can't get over how much Ben Galpin's Jonathan Harker sounds like Alexander Siddig's Julian Bashir. Not only do they have the same accent (and no, I don't mean just British-- they actually sound to me like they grew up in the same neighborhood or something), but the timbre of their voices and the way they break down up their phrases and everything.

So I'll give you one guess how I'm picturing Jonathan this go-round.

I'm also how trying to figure out how I would cast the rest of DS9 in Dracula, either as a Holosuite experience or in the style of Beyond the Stars. Or maybe breaking the Temporal Prime Directive.
