wait a second, I've just realized something. when the 'one month later' subtitle comes up on episode nine, that means it's the end of November right? By the time the Snowball comes around its presumably about a week or two after Hopper meets with Owens. So it's not like just a few days after Bob's death, it's about a month give or take. Keep that in mind.

So when Joyce is standing outside of the school when Hop pulls up, it's been over a month since Bob. You see Hop and Joyce in a rather intimate way, hugs and all that.

Think about it. When have you seen the two of them close enough to be hugging gazing at eachother like love sick teenagers.

If you look even closer, you can see Hop kiss Joyce's head when he first hugs her. have you seen Hopper do that yet?

its a month and and a few weeks later, Hop and Joyce go from friends to obviously intimate within just a few scenes. You see Joyce look at him while he's lighting a cigarette and she stares at him almost like she's feeling something.

but if you really pay attention you'll notice Hopper says "I thought I might find you here." Meaning, he knew she and Will were going to be at the snowball. Had they discussed this already?

THEN when you've watched the video 100 times, you've paid enough attention to the part where Hopper says "How are you holding up?" But he doesn't ask it as if he hasn't seen her at all. He asked it more of a greeting way, in such a nonchalant way that it sounds as if it's not the first time he's ever said it.

NOW LET'S REALLY DIG DEEPER

In David Harbour's recent post on Instagram, he posted a picture of Hopper and Joyce that says "You lost track of time? your mother and I have been worried sick!" with Netflix's comment stating " this is unacceptable YOUNG LADY" which is clearly about Jane.

Now, think about it. The one day that Jane would be out would be at the Snowball. WHERE JOYCE AND HOPPER ARE. Maybe she left with Mike and lost track of time? Obviously she wouldn't be out anywhere else or have the chance to be with friends outside of the cabin.

Think about this thoroughly. Netflix and cast members don't usually leak information or spoilers like that, UNLESS IT'S NOT A SPOILER FOR NEXT SEASON. IT COULD ALREADY HAVE HAPPENED.

what if the Epilogue scene with Joyce and Hopper was a hint that they were already together?
