Corporate cut everyone's hours so all the events are minimally staffed for the rest of the season (end of November), meaning I only have one event next week, and 2 events the next, and 2 the next and then I'm done. I'll be going from a $1200 paycheck to one in the hundreds.

I hate this company and the capitalism that makes their greed not only acceptable but expected.

Edit: Actually that's even a lie too. They cut my 2 days from the first and second of November so now I only have three events left this season. Awesome. Cool. Love that for me.

I don't think it's too much to ask to expect a certain level of 'shit together' from most people in a company providing employment but I can't name one person above me that has their shit together enough to be competent. If I were on the outside looking in I would think this were some scam run by inept morons. Unfortunately it's a real company that employs inept morons to do all the admin work and hires new photographers every year and doesn't actually fucking train them.
